I needed help as my back hurt so much after bending down. Dr Kantara was my doctor and he has totally removed ll pain from the back. He has also been very helpful when I discussed other things with him. Strongly recommend to see the staff at The Joint!

Stay away!!! The low pricing and offers is to lure you. They don't honor the offers and their front desk staff is inhospitable and they do everything to keep you charging unreasonably.

The bottom line is the company is out to squeeze every penny they can out ot their customers. I feel the doctors try to help their patients; however the company's business practices are less then consumer friendly. Make sure you understand your plan and read the fine print on everything. I was given a "Care Card' by a doc who told me it was good for a free visit. I took their word for it and did not read the fine print on the back. Turns out it was only good for 30 days and was also tied to my care plan which had expired 5 days prior to me trying to use the card. You would think they would try to accommodate me due to the misunderstanding. Not a chance!

Since this post I was contacted by the company. I believe it was Crystal, who asked what happened and wanted my side of the story. Bottom line, I was given a free visit. However I stand by many of my comments. Make sure you understand what you are signing up for and read all the fine print.

The Joint Chiropractic provides good service that is quick and efficient. Both Dr. Jesse and Navi at the front desk are kind, caring and helpful. I have seen several different doctors over a year and a half where all but one took their time with me. Their business platform is to get you in and out but you will never leave without the proper adjustments. I sincerely recommend their services.

No stars they withdrew money from my account for six months 89.99 a month ! I paid for 10 sessions only used a few and without me knowing they signed me up for a monthly subscription ridiculous your in and out in less then 2 minutes just don’t do it trust me !

I've been using their Network for over 3 years all over the country. Very affordable $19 a month $15 a visit on my plan. 99% of the chiropractors are very personal and professional not sure all these bad reviews are coming from but definitely not my experience I've probably been to at least 10 or 15 states and have a couple regular locations I visit in Florida, Ohio as well as Tennessee.

This is a chain and the chiropractor was selling me on the need for multiple visits the whole time he was talking. On subsequent visits the same area was worked over 5 times or more and I ended up with damaged discs and hip. They also make you cancel your membership IN PERSON. Any company doing this is dishonest. Just don't go through the door!

I've been a subscription member since they opened years ago and have seen several doctors and front desk personnel come and go through that time. Unfortunately, The quality of care and professionalism have gone downhill and I have sense canceled my membership.

I find it imperative to address the egregious misconduct and deceptive practices exhibited by The Joint Chiropractic, particularly their Pasadena, TX location, and the unscrupulous financial practices that extend to their Washington DC branches. I was a victim of their deceitful tactics and have experienced not only inadequate medical treatment but also financial exploitation.

Upon initial engagement with The Joint Chiropractic, I was misled regarding the nature of the services and the associated costs. Promised a mere $29 for an introductory session, they were coerced into purchasing a so-called "wellness plan," under the guise that it could be utilized at any of their Washington DC locations. This assertion, however, proved to be patently false, as subsequent visits revealed subpar chiropractic services and resulted in additional monthly charges that I did not agree to. The "doctor" from the Washingon DC location told me that I needed to come back for more sessions, but I did not.

The lackluster treatments, lasting a mere 5-10 minutes, failed to address my concerns effectively, rendering the entire experience both financially and medically unsatisfactory. Moreover, unbeknownst to me, they were enrolled in a clandestine membership program, resulting in unauthorized monthly charges of $79. This surreptitious billing practice, disguised as a membership fee, was never disclosed during the initial engagement, constituting a flagrant violation of consumer rights. The only reason I found out is because I noticed the monthly charges on my bank statements.

Attempts to rectify this blatant exploitation were met with further obstruction and indifference from The Joint Chiropractic. Refusal to acknowledge culpability and provide restitution underscores their disregard for ethical business conduct. The Pasadena location's refusal to refund illicitly charged membership fees epitomizes their disregard for consumer protection laws and basic principles of integrity. I called the Logan Circle location to get this corrected, they told me that they were not the ones charging me a monthly membership, it was the Pasadena location. Now, why would I get a membership for the Pasadena Location, when I don't live there. I live in Washington DC. I called the Pasadena TX location and they told me they couldn't cancel it until I submitted a cancellation form. I have read some reviews where The Joint Chiropractic will only cancel your membership if you come to one of their locations to sign a cancellation form. This is absurd.

Furthermore, I spoke with a purported "doctor" at the Pasadena location revealed not only incompetence in medical treatment but also egregious unprofessional conduct. The unprofessional behavior, including raised voices and dismissive attitudes toward legitimate grievances, is antithetical to the standards of patient care and professionalism expected of healthcare practitioners. The "doctor" told me that I was informed about the cancellation Form during my initial visit - I wasn't. Their Tablets were not working. I had to enter information 3 or 4 times. Finally, the receptionist entered my information and I was just told to sign. They never said it was a membership. The doctor also told me he would look at the surveillance videos to make sure I wasn't lying. I told him, go ahead, I'd love to see them too. He then said, absolutely not, you cannot see the surveillance videos. Why not? It was just me and my aunt in the office.

The absence of transparency regarding the credentials of their staff further compounds the issue, raising significant concerns about the legitimacy of their chiropractic services. The Joint Chiropractic's failure to disclose pertinent information regarding their practitioners only serves to exacerbate the lack of trust and credibility in their services.

Moreover, corroborating evidence from various online platforms, including Reddit, Yelp, Trustpilot, Better Business Bureau, and employee reviews on Indeed.com, corroborates my experience and exposes a pattern of deceitful practices and substandard care across multiple locations.

In conclusion, The Joint Chiropractic's Pasadena location, along with its affiliated branches in Washington DC, epitomizes the epitome of unethical business practices and substandard patient care. Prospective clients are forewarned to exercise caution and diligence when considering their services, as the enticing allure of initial low-cost visits conceals a web of deceit and financial exploitation. AVOID at all costs, lest you fall victim to their deceptive schemes and endure the same ordeal as me.

My husband and I signed up in March with that location. Since the plan started in March we used 3 of the 6 visits each, I believe. We decided it was best to cancel the plan as we were not utilizing it. We called to cancel the plan when we were out of town and were told that we had to go in person to cancel, we did not return until 03/10/2024. Additionally, we responded to the email in reference to our lack of use of the "benefits" requesting to cancel and to have the pending charges cancelled, with no response. After calling and emailing, we went into the location and signed the cancellation forms yesterday. Again, calling and leaving a message regarding the pending charge when the phone was not answered. Today when we called them after 6:00PM they stated that they would not be refunding/cancelling the charges and the owner of the location, who was on site, refused to speak with us.
The lack of customer service and professionalism is concerning to say the least. The fact that they are associated with the franchise leaves a poor impression overall. Especially, when you see the negative reviews specifically in reference to their location. At this point from the charges alone, we are out $170 dollars. That does not include the time and energy that we spent trying to avoid just such a situation and now the time and energy that we will spend attempting to fix it.

Rip off don't let them in your bank account! They charged me twice monthly payment and continued to charge me after my cancellation. Very hard to get money back 😔 and I had to fill out another cancellation form because I don't know what they did with the first one. They LIE about how many visits you have, to make you pay for another month and will dispute it to not refund your money. They didn't help with my pain. I did better with YouTube. If you're not careful, they get you coming and going. Can't trust them at all. Still waiting to be refunded after four months. BAD BAD BAD 😞

My last visit I asked for my membership to be canceled. It was not, and now I am being charged another month. I was told there was no notations regarding cancellation so they couldn’t do anything. How about have your employees do their job! I called corporate and of course cannot speak to anyone and there has been call back. After several phone calls I was sent a cancellation form, but was told there would be no refund! Apparently, if you want to cancel your membership you have to stand over the employee or go behind the desk and figure out how to do it yourself! After reading other reviews, I see this must be standard practice for them. Stay away!!

Since this post early this morning, I have since received a phone call from Sabrin. She was apologetic and worked out a suitable compromise. Thank you Sabrin!

WARNING: Back in September I signed up for the four monthly sessions for $79. I cancelled in October — filled out the cancellation form and everything. I recently found out that after cancellation The Joint continued to bill my HSA monthly to the tune of around $360. When I called them about this I had to go in and fill in ANOTHER cancellation form and they said they’d “look into refunding” me. After weeks their response was “we don’t refund unused sessions,” framing my being overcharged as MY fault. 😡

They continue to delay, they continue failing to take responsibility and do the right thing and refund me.

I’m an unemployed senior with crappy insurance, I can’t afford a treatment that doesn’t work for me — and I certainly wouldn’t have paid for sessions and not go. I told them as much…to deaf profit-focused ears.

I ultimately cancelled because their treatment felt like fast food to me — I’d drive 40 minutes to see a chiropractor and the actual treatment was 5 or 10 minutes — I’d get bumped around without much explanation, and then I was shown the door without much relief.

The Joint hasn’t shown any integrity in owning up to their mistake, or doing the right thing and refunding me.

Even if it was an honest mistake on either of our parts would trustworthy medical professionals continue to take your cash knowing you weren’t taking their treatments?!

Reading other reviews I see I’m not the only one dealing with this. Obviously my recommendation is you don’t seek treatment at The Joint. They’ve got a ways to go to earn trust.

I went into The Joint on 1/28/24 At the Summerville Location.
I was in tremendous pain. I signed up apparently for the wellness plan. All I could think of was getting out of the pain.
They get you to sign forms and I didn’t realize they would debit my account each month even if I didn’t use them. The next day after my adjustment I had to go to the ER Roper and I was informed I had pulled muscles in my chest. Today March 28, 2024 I noticed my bank card had a $79.00 charge. I immediately called The Joint center and was informed that they debit my account for $79.00 and I had to cancelled to stop them from debiting my account. I said ok I’m want to cancel. I was then informed I had to go into their center to sign a document to cancel. I drove 15 miles to cancel then I was informed that it had to be cancelled 2 days prior. I was so angry!
They push you to sign a 3 page document, then you have to drive to their location to sign another document to cancel. Also it has to be 2 days prior in order for The Joint not to deduct $79.00. It’s a racket and they steal peoples hard earn money and they DONT make any exceptions regarding you being in pain. THEY WILL STEAlL YOUR MONEY!
I would NEVER recommend them period!
The manager kept saying well we explained the wellness plan and it’s your fault that you signed it! I had 2 treatments $79.00 each.
There is no human compassion anymore.
It’s disgraceful that The Joint in Summerville have very unprofessional people working for them. I asked for the owners name and was given: LS Carper but was not given a phone no. Or any information to where I could contact him to explain what has happened to me. They did a poor job explaining the wellness program. The way they treat you when there’s a dispute is disgraceful! I’m sure this will NEVER get to the appropriate people to make any positive changes. When your employees treat their patients like I was treated it will eventually hurt your business!

I am being charged an extra month because I forget the deadline to cancel. Isn't it human to make a mistake. I haven't visited them after end date, but being charged anyway. I'm closing my credit card because of this.
I can't believe exceptions aren't made. I have to pay even though I'm not using their services. Unfair bulldozing me. Not a good way to conduct business when you are health professionals! The Joint is burning me and I am not happy. I won't ever return!

If I could give this 0 place stars, I would. Unfortunately, my experience with The Joint Chiropractic was profoundly negative, leading me to strongly discourage anyone from seeking their services.

Despite claims of flexibility, their cancellation policy is a deceptive trap. Initially told that cancellation couldn't be processed over the phone or online due to "HIPPA" reasons, a clear misrepresentation of such regulations, the situation only worsened in person. They enforced a hidden stipulation preventing account cancellation within the first 60 days, disregarding my explanation that I had already fulfilled this duration. This unyielding policy resulted in an unwanted third-month charge, contradicting their earlier assurances.

When I attempted to cancel after an unwarranted third charge, citing a move out of state, their policy absurdly required me to return to the original branch for cancellation. This, despite their boasting of "900" locations nationwide, highlights a baffling lack of accommodation or understanding of customer circumstances.

Communication with The Joint Chiropractic was futile. Repeated calls within business hours went unanswered, signaling gross negligence in customer service. The rare interactions with staff revealed a dismissive attitude, with claims of lacking authority for simple account cancellations and deferring to an absent manager, further complicating an already frustrating process.

The final straw was the chiropractic care, which was subpar and hazardous. The chiropractor assigned to me conducted no preliminary assessment, ignored my reported neck issues, and proceeded to perform an adjustment on the injured side, exacerbating the pain significantly for days after that.

The Joint Chiropractic's service is far below acceptable standards, marked by misleading policies, poor customer service, inaccessibility, and irresponsible medical care. Their approach to business and patient treatment is unethical and concerning, making them a poor choice for anyone needing chiropractic services. Look elsewhere for professional, compassionate, and competent care.

My stomach muscles were ripped to shreds at my last appointment as well as being violently ill!! Took almost three weeks to bounce back from this.Then when I went in and told them they still charged me for another month of their plan so basically stole another $79 from me. I would never recommend to anyone. Doctor had no idea what he was doing!! And no one there even cares that they are basically stealing from you. I was never told I had to cancel my membership when I signed up. Just told that if I would not be charged for subsequent months if I didn’t come back in. Very deceitful!!

Crooks...STAY AWAY. They keep charging my credit card every month and won't stop unless I come in...SO THEY CAN TRY TO SELL ME AGAIN.

Completely Amazing, not only is the Service Great, but I travel a lot and can go to Any Location... Not to mention My average cost is $19 and I get to use My HSA to pay for it... I'll be back, thank you. Rob Widowski
