Will not try to use again :( When you go on line order on a Monday & shipping is guaranteed for Thursday delivery, maybe the staff should actually look at the order & zip when it is placed and not call two days later and say they looked at the zip and the order cannot be filled as it was expected! It can't be delivered when you want it delivered! This company uses UPS and if they keep using UPS that can deliver an order to my zip code sent on Thursday by them overnight on a Friday but cannot deliver an order sent on Wednesday overnight on Thursday when it was scheduled, then The Lobster Guy is losing customers , Sad. Very disappointed.

I would definitely recommend ordering from the Lobster Guy. Lobster‘s were the liveliest I have ever seen., had to literally stop one of them from jumping out of the cooler. The clam chowder was excellent !!! Everyone who had it raved about it! Shipping was on time and everything was packed correctly. Ps I checked legal seafoods prior to ordering from Lobster Guy. Their prices were nearly double for the same exact order I placed

I can not buy live lobsters in my area, ordered from the lobsterguy, and on top of very reasonable price, my order arrived on time packaged great, I work for a delivery company and ive seen so many not packaged correctly, on top of being on time and packaged well, a hand written thank you note, handling and cooking instructions the lobsters were alive active and beautiful. I also ordered shrimp that was also beautiful.
From now on the lobsterguy will be my go to for fresh sea food

These guys are great! I ordered a large dinner for my 2 nephews who drove me crazy with changing delivery address and dates - The Lobster Guy accommodated all of my changes and delived an amazing meal!!!!!

The lobster meat was mediocre

I ordered 4 1.75lb and 2 2lb lobsters.

Shipped to Idaho next day on time.

All lobsters were alive and kicking plus overweight!!!

Plus interestingly cheaper that the lobster companies in Maine even though they are shipped from Rhode Island!

Please stop animal cruelty by sending LIVE LOBSTERS to people! First of all they suffer on the trip to your buyers and then to have them boiled alive. How would you like to be shipped across the country in a small box with your friends who may or may not die on the way and then to be BOILED ALIVE with your friends.... STOP THE CRUELTY!!!

$58 + $15 insurance just to ship 2 live lobsters?? They're in RI and I'm only over in NY. I'd be paying just as much in shipping as I would for the lobsters. I can't justify that. I've shipped packages to China for half that price. I was about to purchase but after seeing all the negative reviews about their customer service and shipping issues I'm going to sell the gift certificates I was given for this shop. Fortunately, we have a Wegman's location in our town where they get live lobsters shipped from Maine in what sounds like a more timely fashion than "The Lobster Guy" can ship them out. We're going to get our Valentine's meal there.

I have ordered twice and both times the lobster was delivered on time and still frozen solid. We added a filet and it was delicious and I'm not a steak person. I would recommend if you want something at Christmas time order a month in advance. 5 stars for the quality and delivery.

Great value, excellent so shipping, and tails labeled 10-12oz were closer to 12oz. Nantucket to table! A+++

We had steamers and 3 two pound lobsters. They had frozen cold packs and lobsters were still alive after 2 days travel. I would definitely use them again. Our second successful Christmas eve splurge here in New Mexico.

Copy an email I got back from the guy when my food didn't arrive by Thanksgiving. He never offered to provide a discount after failing to deliver. Product was 4 days late- that's not a fedex problem. The man seems irritated that I even questioned his shipping time which didn't happen until 4 days after I ordered.

I am not Oswald and I didn't shoot Kennedy and again, we ALL trust Fed Ex to get the job done....
We have over 150 packages that DID NOT LEAVE MEMPHIS last night and they are NOT TELLING anyone why..and yes this SUCKS!, ours along with 15,000 packages including medical items, beef, seafood you name it and it got stuck there....all of that did not move onto their flights... there are no "logistics and contingencies" for a delay of 15,000 packages and I don't have a crystal ball here either....
We are trying to get you your box one way or another to you today, we are ALL victims of the Fed Ex issues today me you and 15, 000 other customers.
Periship is trying to get this done for you as we are also.

My relatives lived on Cape Cod for over 50 years before moving to Arizona, so to say they know seafood would be an understatement. Three days ago, I ordered the “Clambake in a Can” for two, which ended up feeding three of them!

For the past two hours, all I’ve heard is how incredible the food was. They couldn’t stop talking about it—everything was fresh, perfectly prepared, and so easy to make.

Ordered lobster and clams to arrive on our anniversary but never arrived. Called lobster guy and they said it was fedx issue. They showed up the next afternoon and 3 of 6 lobsters were dead and 1/2 the clams were smashed! We were leaving town so has to give to neighbors. 1 other lobster died that afternoon before they could cook. Left several messages for lobster guy but no return call. Absolute BS. So not trust these guys. There are several other legit seafood shippers!

It was my wife's birthday, and she requested lobster for dinner and we invited another couple to join us. I ordered (4) 12-14 oz frozen lobster tails and right out of the box they didn't appear fresh they had a yellowish hue which was a bit concerning. They smelled okay so we steamed them up and served. They were so SALTY that no one could stomach even one bite they were that BAD!!! I contacted their customer service and was told that would never happen, so essentially calling me a liar. They got me for over $200 with no offers to make this right. This was my first and last order from the Lobster guy. We should have stuck with Maine Lobster Now that company has never disappointed. If you are one of the many disgruntled customers, you should contact the bank which issued your credit card. Tell them you received a product that was not edible and dispute the charge. BUYER BEWARE, do not do business with this company.

After a disappointing experience that led me to leave a negative review,I was contacted by the owner. I am happy to say that he took my concerns seriously and offered to rectify the situation. I appreciate the response and willingness to make things right. Their follow-up has improved my opinion of the owner and company.

I have trouble getting good live lobsters at a decent price this time of year in Maryland for my daughter's birthday. Lobster guy was an answer to long searching. Great lobsters, great shipping and packing and a reasonable price. Thank you
