Online account suspended for some unknown reason. Tried to rectify online but was unsuccessful so called the contact centre. I was told the wait time would be approx 5 mins. That was over 20 mins ago. 30 mins later... Still listening to the repetitive 'thankyou for holding, your call will be answered by the next available consultant' and 'thank you for continuing to hold, one of our customer care consultants will be with you soon'...(yeah sure) in between mundane stories - my least fav which I heard at least 20 times, the story of the woman who won from Durack who's kids initially thought she was screaming because there was a cockroach in her kitchen. I haven't won anything but trust me, after hearing that story over and over I wanted to scream too. After holding on... and on... and on... at 9.02pm after over an hour of holding on I was just disconnected with the message saying that the customer service centre was now closed and to call back at 8am tomorrow. Nup. My call is important to you huh??? What a load of s***! Pretty poor service.

I played the Powerball and got 4 numbers this week.
I was super excited to think I'd won a little something. I felt nothing but profound disappointment and frustration as well as confusion when I saw that you get nothing for 4 numbers.
The odds of getting 4 numbers are extraordinarily high, so why aren't you paying out something on this?
Everywhere else in the world does!
Needless to say, I shan't bother buying any more lottery products in Australia again.
It truly is a big scam.
I'm quite convinced that AI technology is used to manipulate draws to ensure very few to no people win on a regular basis so to maximise profits.
All this rubbish about it being regulated is utter nonsense, there's no way it is fully regulated.
Save your money folks, stop giving these crooks your hard earned money.

I tried to get some money back that had been mistakenly deposited into the wrong account. I was told it’s not company policy to allow customers to withdraw balances deposited. They suggested I buy lottery tickets to use up the balance. This company is forcing me to gamble.
And the company responds below by restating the policy rather than addressing the issue. It's a bit like a bank saying 'once you have deposited money with us you can't get it back.'
I've tried making a formal complaint but got no response.

Fix your app, never works, if you are going to give us the option to scan and check our tickes via your app, then at least make sure your app works (all others apps i have work well, just not yours) very annoying

I have been using The lott for my lottery purchases for a long time. I enjoy the lott online as I don't have a lot of money and they allow you to play minimum games. If i go to the shop I'm restricted to the amount of minimum games I can play. Sometimes people just want to feel they have a slightest chance. Their webstore is fantastic and very easy to use. Easy to deposit and withdraw, I'll never go anywhere else.

I go to the lott website to play 2 week multis (sometimes same numbers), Sat lotto, mon/wed lotto, Tues oz lotto and Thurs powerball. (4 tickets not ten tickets !!!) 2. It saves my password and 3. It also let's me check results almost inmediately after thendraw and BEFORE the tv draw (which isnt live)
The App cant do any of these ... it's useless, so I've uninstaller it and put a url shortcut on my phone. It works. Repeat .. the app is useless !!!
I check the app on my pc for results, but despite living in Queensland, your website only shows NSW/ACT winners. This changed very recently and despite trying to find a Queensland version, doesn't exist. Would be great if we lived in NSW, but I don't.
Such narrow minded creators, who think I give a toss about someone in another state.

So now if you re install the app on your new phone you are automatically kicked of the site because they no longer accept your debit card they are already using. So can't check my numbers to see if I had a win. Useless.
UPDATE: I am being assisted with this issue via Messenger. Thank you.
As of yesterday (22 Nov 2022), The Lott app and website will not load properly using my home wifi - but the app works fine using 4G. I note from other reviews that this has been a problem for users in the past.
I also note that The Lott recommends restarting the router, which I have done - but that didn't fix the problem. The Lott site/app is the only site/app I use where this problem is occurring so I assume the issue is with The Lott's site.
