The Australian Lottery is A SCAM...

I bought 2 tickets tonight for the 60 million Powerball...10.80 Lol is all I won.
A lousy $10.80 after spending $100 for 2 tickets. Now I've been Researching along time with the Australian lottery system..and what's caught my eye which I find it quite funny.... everytime in the one week when Ozlotto and powerball have big winnings...such as $20 million and more..it seems to go off only in 2 states that always win. Rather NSW or Victoria. Most of the time YOU'LL hear cairns or Queensland ect but only with the Thursday's powerball. In the other hand Tuesday Ozlotto will have guaranteed winner's from Victoria or nsw. Why i say this...cause it happened Again just this week. Tuesday I posted...my review regarding the Ozlotto $20 million..yep one winner from Victoria...now tonight's Powerball $60 million only one winner Nsw.
Hmmmm What A farkin scam our Australian lottery is ....... I've been reading review after review ect and Not One Good comment...but people saying the same thing....lottery is a scam.... It's Rigged. Hmmmm It's True guys...unless you live in NSW, Victoria or Parts of Queensland...you'll never Ever win. They choose their favorite winning states...and unfortunately that's not South Australia Adelaide where I live. Nonsece about the population...It's GOT NOTHING TO DO ON HOW MANY PLAY......It's the numbers....you have the right numbers you'll win. Yeahhh but not these day's. It's Rigged...It's a scam...and the Lottery department needs to be rather shut down or monitored.

I've been worked out the scamming side to it... Stop taking people's money...AND START SHARING THE WINNINGS IN ALL STATES...NOT JUST 3.

Don't trust these liars

Don't trust these liars when they advertise something, they will not fulfil their obligation. They advertised to load my account with some cash when I download their app and play within a week on the app. So I did and they first said I didn’t play at all and then when I provided the proof, they said it wasn’t on the app. They are real scum.

Now they are saying that they had sent me a direct message. Well I'm yet to see it.

No contact has been made, as expected. Apparently this business is highly regulated. We just don’t know by whom.

OK, they contacted me about a week ago and we discussed the problem. They said that the tranfer of the promised funds was being done as we spoke. And what happend? As it was expected - nothing.

Set for life draw time supposedly 9pm yet it was 10:45pm and still no results makes me think all lotto is rigged all I get is between 1 and 2 numbers on each line now they have decided to change the rules also the draws are not televised which they should be I will be spending my money elsewhere from now on

Great service....once you get them to…

Great service....once you get them to pick up! Initially told it would be a five minute wait, turned into 18 minutes. My ticket was 2 years old so couldn't give me the numbers, only if there were any unnotified winners.

Normally 5 star but app won't work

I usually love this app as its so convenient esp in today's environment so I dont have to go out in public. But for the last 2 days I haven't been able to even open the app. As soon as I try it crashes.

Who regulates this, really?

Started playing lotto 2 years ago and only played set for life, had a few *cough* wins of $9 or so but on the whole most times I was getting 3 numbers picked on average each game. They changed the system earlier this year and upped the price with the obvious marketing promise you'll now win big. Now on average I am lucky to get one number per game since the new format started - scam scam scam. Who regulates the lotteries really? reeks of greed and corruption, 'charge em more but offer em less opportunity'.

Received a reply from thelott but still didn't answer the question of why the frequency of numbers picked has suddenly become lower when your now paying more?

Good ap, with a recent minor problem

For the most part, this is a good ap. It's convenient, simple to use and does what you'd expect it to do.

I've taken a star off because it has recently stopped working through my home wifi. It continues to work fine over 4G. I can't for the life of me work out why this should suddenly be the case, but it is. I haven't changed anything, and everything else I have works fine over wifi as it has always done.

Otherwise, this is great option that saves having to go to a newsagent or log on to my home computer.

Tried to buy tickets last night between…

Tried to buy tickets last night between 7 and 7.30, kept coming up with errors , wanted to add $50 to my account , had trouble with errors well I thought I did , eventually $50 showed up in my account , so I started to purchase tickets which errored as well , was getting so frustrated but kept trying , well I looked today I apparently deposited $150 into my account and bought several tickets I didn’t approve of the same tickets , I picked numbers and bought a quick pick, not happy as this was not my intention. To spend $130 on lotto and did not win a thing either , don’t use the app it’s CRAP and I did not approve all these tickets either

I tried to buy a ticket in last night…

I tried to buy a ticket in last night $50mill and it kept coming up with ‘web session not found (#51025) error. Then I looked in my emails and I had bought two tickets. I still can’t get in to see if I won as the same error keeps coming up. This is not good enough and I will be reporting this.

Don't bother with the site or App

I purchased a ticket for tonight's Powerball, my card was charged but I received no ticket or numbers. Customer service can not be reached as the site is so overworked every request times out.

Useless ..

Useless ... has my money in my account but wont let me login ... have been trying since morning so the site has been crashed for minimum 6 hours and shuts in 5 hours for a $50m draw ... cant even retrieve my numbers to go buy a physical ticket because guess what ... it wont let me log in to get them. USELESS.

Only in Queensland

Came over from Perth to work in Brisbane for 9 months and when covid-19 hit, decided to purchase tickets online. Set up the account, transferred money in and started buying tickets. A week later received message to say my account needed to be verified. Because my residential address is in Perth I was unable to verify, which means if I ever won anything from my online tickets I wouldn't receive any money. However I can buy a winning ticket in a shop and be able to collect winnings. What a stupid system. Turns out in Qld you can win online and get no payout, but win with paper ticket and actually collect winnings. WA Lottery West online system much better. Thank goodness I only transferred $50 and never won anything. I'd be really annoyed if I'd transferred a lot of money or won a large prize. The app shouldn't allow me to set up the account and transfer money before the required verification. Sometimes the saying isn't "only in America", sometimes it's "only in Queensland"

Following up from this response below:

How did they resolve the issue? I have always accessed the lott at home! I can login via my hotspot, but my home WIFI causes the login to time out?? This could cost me Millions in Winnings due to the inability to buy tickets!!! (or saving me millions by not buying them!) Anyone know why this seems to be a recent issue and a cure?

I have been trying to login on the lott site for a week. I bought tickets last Saturday and ever since then it's not working. I have sent multiple emails and calls and no response. My login and password is correct."

Since this post I have contacted my ISP (Internet service provider) and THE LOTT also made contact with me. Technical Staff at Exetel advised that they would modify my IP Address (Normally static) and now have success. Not sure whether The Lott had blocked my IP address or not. Either way, Success, so I hope this may help others. Thank you to all who assisted and helped!

When I d/L the app My winnings went into my account an it keeps telling me to verify it which I did with my voting address . That’s fine but now it wonts A Electricity Bill with my name an address on it. I travel an look after houses so I don’t have that type of bill all I have is a PO Box an it won’t accept it. What do I do to get or use my winnings???
