My love was terminally ill in Feb. of this year (he passed away in March) when I managed to get him into the showroom to try out and purchase his chair. Tom took time to explain the differences, allowed him to linger and treated him with gentle care. Tom did all he could to expedite the chair. When we realized the pad he needed for his frail body was not with the delivery, Ann Marie showed up at our doorstep, pad in hand, the next day! We were gobsmacked by the care and consideration of these two. What a team and what customer service! These two deserve all success they may achieve with their business. I would HIGHLY recommend this stellar company to anyone.

Daniel Le reached out right after I started researching chairs and came across The Modern Back's website. He answered all my questions, and steered me to the right chair (Osaki Atlas XL) for someone my height (6' 3"). The price beat Costco's sale price, shipping was free and very fast, and the sales tax was included in the sale price. I chose to set the chair up myself, which wasn't extremely difficult, but the arms and foot rest are quite heavy. I recommend paying a little extra and getting the White Glove service. Not only will they unbox and put your chair together, but they also remove the cardboard, styrofoam, (there's a lot of styrofoam!), and the pallet. Well worth the extra cost. If you've been considering getting a Massage Chair, don't wait any longer. Give Daniel Le a call. You won't regret it. My wife and I use the chair every day. I live about 2 hours from "The Modern Back" store and was travelling south to S. Florida. While driving I called store to look at massage chairs however they were closed. Daniel came in on his day off and spent over 2 hours with me, and he was very accommodating. He reviewed all the chairs, pros and cons, and I tried most of them. Never felt rushed. And this guy really knows massage chairs. Never had a budget or knew anything about these things. Did not buy at this time, but after this visit I at least felt somewhat informed. Upon leaving he thanked us for coming in (even on his day off). I did additional research on the chair I really liked. Osaki 4D Duo Max SE and found I could buy it local to my home for the same price. I started to think about the kindness of Daniel and his pleasant demeaner, and the few subsequent calls I had with Alexis (I believe the store owner) which gave me a level of comfort about spending a substantial amount of money. I did buy the Osaki 4D Duo Max SE and the white glove delivery from "The Modern Back" and glad I did. The chair was delivered in 5 days as promised, and by real pros. They were so careful, cleaned all packing materials, positioned the chair as to my liking and spent time with me to be certain of my understanding of its use. True "white glove" delivery. I can honestly say "The Modern Back" is a first-class business run the way a business should be, but hard to find in today's society. I recently purchased a new massage chair for my home in Sarasota from the Modern Back. The experience was nothing short of amazing. Before I visited their showroom, I called in multiple times with questions & spoke to Alexis. She was very helpful & thorough with all her answers. She knows her stuff.

Visiting their showroom was a treat. This place is like the Mecca for massage chairs. I've never seen so many. Trying out the massage chairs in person was a game-changer. I was greeted at the store by Dan, who was very patient with me the entire visit. I learned that I prefer more intense massages. With so many great options, it took a few days to make a decision. I ended up getting the Osaki Highpointe. Dan was there every step of the way, answering my calls & text messages. There was never any pressure to buy.

The delivery was smooth & painless. The delivery guys arrived on time. My chair was set up in my bedroom within less than 35 minutes of their arrival. Those guys were real pros.

I want to thank the entire Modern Back Team for their patience and professionalism. I'm thrilled to have found this place. I've already referred them to my neighbor, who also recently purchased a massage chair from them.
