Great Service!
A few years ago, I was in an accident that damaged my spine. I'm constantly battling with back pain since then. I sat in a friend's massage chair, which he had also purchased from The Modern Back the previous year & I couldn't believe my back felt better after just 30 mins in his chair. My friend swears by his chair & referred me to the guys over at the Modern Back.
So, I visited their showroom in Sarasota and was wildly impressed by their selection. I was greeted by Dan, who had the patience of a saint, as I spent hours in the showroom trying out all their massage chair. Dan answered all my questions. Not once did I feel pressured in the sale. The guy really knows massage chairs.
Ultimately, I chose the Osaki DuoMax SE. It had just the right amount of intensity I needed, and I love all the features. This chair is the Cadillac of massage chairs, in my opinion. Oh, and I was even able to finance the entire purchase for 0% interest with no money down.
They already had my massage chair in stock, so I got my delivery within 3 days. I was absolutely amazed. The white-glove delivery guys (Charles and James) set up my chair like professionals and even took away all the packaging.
I've owned my massage chair for 3 weeks now & it's really helping me manage my back pain. My favorite programs are the Thai stretch & neck/shoulder auto programs.
If you are struggling with back pain, owning a massage chair is worth its weight in gold. I only wish I had bought one sooner. And if you're in the market for a massage chair, you have to check the guys at The Modern Back. The guys really know how to take care of business the right way.

I'm so happy I found this company online. My husband and I have been wanting to buy a massage chairs for many years. When I called them, their sales rep promptly answered all of our questions. 'First, I rarely leave reviews but after such great service I had to post this review. The Modern Back is one of the very few remaining businesses with a customer first attitude. From the moment, I entered their showroom until delivery, the level of professionalism was outstanding.
As a disabled vet, my sales guy even offered me military discount without asking and they upgraded me to white glove delivery at no extra charge. My delivery arrived within a few days which was a big surprise.

Impressive purchase experience
Excellent pre-sales experience. Tom, the owner, responded quickly to all questions and concerns. He was well informed about the products and answered all of our questions. He informed us we could avoid paying Florida sales tax on the purchase if we got a prescription from our doctor for the massage chair. The chair was delivered within the expected delivery timelines. The White Glove delivery and installation service was excellent. The delivery people were on time and were very careful in how they handled the delivery. The whole process with the Modern Back company was very impressive and I would highly recommend them to anyone wanting a massage chair.

We were shopping for a new massage chair and came across The Modern Back store / beautiful showroom. From the moment we arrived and after 3 hours later of trying out 5 different massage chairs, we finally made our decision to purchase one. The best investment I ever made!!! Tom and his staff are very kind, professional, they easily answered all of our questions and had a lot of patience dealing with us to make sure that we purchased the right massage chair for our everyday needs. I personally suffer from sciatica and since using the chair daily my sciatica issue has almost completely subsided. The Modern Back is a Must for serious Massage Chair Shoppers
I cannot say enough about the wonderful experience my wife and I had at The Modern Back. We did thorough research prior to our visit to the store. The owner Tom and his assistant, Daniel accommodated us after hours and spent two plus hours educating us in the realities of massage chairs, both pros and cons. We looked at 12+ chairs and tried 6 of them. There were no high pressure sales tactics. They went over and above in spending the time necessary to be certain that both my wife and I selected a chair that was the best fit for both of us. No matter where you live in the Tampa Bay area, it is worth a drive to The Modern Back when shopping for a massage chair.

Visited The Modern Back (from Pasco county to Sarasota) because they had a massage chair we were interested in online. Tom and his sales associate were very accommodating and let us try out several other models while pointing out each chairs features and benefits. After talking with us for a while, they were able to match us with the right chair for our needs within our price point. We must have spent 2hrs in the store and not once did we feel pressured to make an immediate decision. There were several options to consider as far as financing since we were considering a chair a little more expensive than the one we originally went in to try out. Needless to say, we decided to purchase the chair the next day on their website and Tom contacted us via email. The transaction was smooth, notifications were sent when the the chair left the warehouse, and when to expect delivery. The delivery guys were exceptional. Two men arrived, set up the chair, removed packaging, and were mindful of our surrounding furnishings. The chair we chose is - expletive - AMAZING!

We had bought a massage chair from Modern Back a few years ago and we loved it. Unfortunately it was destroyed when our home was flooded from Hurricane Helene. We recently went back to Modern Back to get a new massage chair and fell in love with the Osaki OS AI Vivo 4D + 2D. At the Modern Back showroom, you can sample a wide range of chairs and find the one you are most comfortable in. The Customer Service is outstanding as Tom will talk you through what each chair offers as you are trying each one. He is very knowledgeable and was a huge help in putting us in the right chair. When you select the chair that is best for you, the White Glove delivery service is awesome. The chair will be brought to your house and put exactly where you want it. Then they will take away the box and all the packaging. Do your body a favor and go visit the Modern Back Massage Chair Showroom. You will not be disappointed!

We love Modern Back. We had personalized service when we were picking out our chair and were able to try every model we wanted to. Financing was easy. We got our chair within 2 weeks of finalizing the order. The delivery went smoothly and the delivery staff was very polite and friendly. We both are using our Kairos chair at least once a day. We sent him a message using his website and soon received a phone call from Tom.
Tom could not have been more informative or personable. His offer for the chair was more than fair so we went ahead and purchased the chair through him. Everything from that point on went exactly as planned from the shipping to the delivery to the in-home setup. The chair has been working perfectly from day one.
In a world when doing business over the internet with a total stranger can be fraught with disappointment, if not worse, my experience with Tom and his company, The Modern Back could not have been better.

Tom couldn't have been more patient, more knowledgeable and more helpful. Not being able to actually try any of the chairs available (remote area) He guided me through all of the issues that were most important to me in my search and was able to narrow it down to the right chair. Made the transaction super easy and checked in on me the entire time, even after the purchase.
