This service is very easy to use, very easy to adjust orders, cancel single items, order new items. It's been an absolute God send while I'm recovering from an operation and I will be continuing to use it.

Recovering from an operation is tough enough without the added stress of sorting your shopping, so it means a lot to know we've been able to take that off your plate. Really pleased you've found adjusting, cancelling and adding items so straightforward too.
Brilliant service making busy lives easier
Honestly this service has taken the pain out of making sure our busy household doesn't run out of some fridge essentials. With two teenage boys until recently as well as my husband, with waxing and waning appetites and social and work calendars, this flexible service provides us with the milk, eggs and bread and occasionally other items we need. I love that I can amend deliveries easily. I won't lie: we have had some broken eggs and wrong deliveries but these are easily refunded / sorted out. It's fast and easy and saves me time and money (if I go to the supermarket all the time I end up buying other things we do not need!). PLUS I am a non-driving care and support worker on foot and my husband had a radical prostatectomy end of the summer so this is one less job for us both. Thank you SO much for this brilliant service and I love that I can buy good quality eggs, milk and avocados here. Also their cloudy apple juice rocks and is not too sweet! Very happy customer.

Great! Love having fresh milk delivered to my door. The Matcha milkshake is a big hit. The overnight oats are delicious but a bit expensive to buy regularly. I’ve yet to try more products as the app doesn’t seem to allow them to be added to an order but that may be an app issue. Big thanks to the super quiet delivery person.

Impossible to cancel
The service is good, but it's impossible to cancel, so one star. You have to contact live chat, during their working hours, and I have been thrown out of the conversation before I get to talk to a human five times in the last half hour. I thought it was illegal to make it this difficult to cancel a subscription.

Great service and quality products
First time using this service and have to say I’m very impressed with the service and the quality of products. People say it’s a bit pricey but I don’t mind paying a little more for fresh quality products and supporting local farms/businesses.
Had a slight issue with a product I was removing from my weekly shop, I thought I cancelled the product after my next delivery but it cancelled it straight away. Spoke to Kim and she corrected it straight away.

Fresh produce from local farms is absolutely worth paying a bit extra for, and that seems to have come through for you on your very first order. Kim will be chuffed to get the mention, and she got that cancellation sorted in no time.
Absolutely shocking service
Absolutely shocking service and is bordering on a scam. Sales team offer discounts that are not honoured, attempts to cancel are ignored, emails to customer service are ignored, emails to complaints are ignored. Payments taken from bank despite cancellation. Delivery arrived despite cancellation but products in paper bags (such as bread etc) left out in pouring rain so ruined. Avoid this company at all costs.

Love the sourdough!!
No complaints with products so far but I find the App confusing and not particularly user friendly ( may be just me). It’s not easy to add to an existing regular weekly order and then pay for that addition in one transaction. Having said that it could just be me with teething problems!

Affordable without the compromise is what we're all about. Really appreciate you taking the time to say so.
Very disappointing approach to membership cancellation
Be aware that if you cancel your subscription they will continue to charge you their membership fee, which is not refundable even though you are not using their service. They do not tell you when you cancel the subscription that your membership is still active and needs to be cancelled separately. They also don’t provide any notice in advance that your membership will renew and your card charged to give you a chance to cancel it, before they charge it and it becomes non-refundable.
Most companies these days are pretty understanding if something is auto charged in advance and you contact them straight away after the charge has been made. Not so with the Modern Milkman, I have contacted them and they have steadfastly refused to offer a refund.
This is the only Company I have come across recently that have refused to refund a service that they have not yet provided and will not be providing because the milk subscription has been cancelled.
