As first-time buyers there are so many unknowns to the process of buying a house, but The Mortgage Genie (and James M in particular) made sure getting our mortgage was super simple. They went above and beyond to make the process great for us: they were able to call us on the weekend to avoid our working hours, they explained everything as they went along, they were completely transparent about the process, and got back to all of our questions and requests almost immediately.

TMG had a great range of products to offer us and even ended up saving us a good chunk of money: our advisor was aware that rates from our chosen lender were due to change soon, so he was able to get our application in quickly to lock in a lower rate. We suspected that this might've been a sales tactic, but he was completely right and the public rates went up the next day.

James M and Steve S kept us up to date throughout the process and made sure everything was kept on track. The whole deal start to finish didn't take more than two phone calls and a couple of emailed documents - I wish our solicitors had been this easy to deal with!

Overall, we could not recommend TMG enough. If you're thinking about using them, I say 100% go for it.
