Sabine/Ezra lightsaber fail

Updated Review - Kevin form Saber Factory contacted me directly and gave me detailed instructions on how to get the core back up and working. 5 stars for response time. Thank you for your prompt response! My boy is now very happy with his Christmas gift!

FYI - for those of you trying to contact Saber Factory through a PC, the contact link/chat does not show up. Use a mobile phone if you need to contact them.

Got the Sabine/Ezra lightsaber for my boy for Christmas. Everything worked out of the box, but when it came time to charge the core, it did not charge nor would it confirm charging. Looked at all the help utube videos, and they all talk about a kill switch, but mine doesn't have a kill switch. Regardless, the core doesn't confirm it's charging when you plug it in, so it has to be defective. I understand things sometimes don't work, but what makes me furious is I can't find how to contact the Saber Factory anywhere on their website. There is a customer service page with NO LINK to how I can contact them. I would be happy to return the core for a new one, but no where can I find how to communicate with them. The irony is that they mention what great customer service they have, when there is no chat nor email address to contact them through. So if any Saber Factory folks are reading this, please contact me so we can determine how to get my boy's lightsaber working. My order number is ST4269240.

Hi Maurice. No need to worry, I'll get you sorted and you'll find the chat bubble on the bottom right corner of your screen on all pages of the website, it's always visible. From there, leave your email address, describe your problem (ideally with a short 10-20s video so I can see how your core is doing when being plugged) and I'll get back to you as I always do. And if you see no response from me by monday, look in your spams or promotional emails, it's often there.

Saber Factory hilts are out of this world!

Saber Factory hilts have an amazing build quality, good weight and great features. They look just like the hilts seen in the movies, making these props a perfect addition to ones collection.

Product packaging is also exceptional, allowing for safe transport and protection of hilts and blades. Will definitely purchase more hilts from Saber Factory in the future.

Took forever to arrive with no…

Took forever to arrive with no communication.
Stand and adapter I purchased were not included.
Three attempts to resolve with no response.
Seems typical these days for Chinese origin junk they don’t even disclose when purchasing.

When you asked me in the support chat why there was no movement I looked at it and replied to you on Monday : "I got confirmation it arrived at NYC customs clearance hub on the 6th, so right now it's under clearance process, at this time of year it can take a few days sometimes but it should be on its way and tracking will show some updates soon enough. If you see no movement by the end of this week send me a message again and we'll push with USPS."
I suppose you didn't get my message, maybe look in your spams, because this 1* review is a bit harsh considering yesterday your package got updated on the USPS tracking, showing it got out of customs as I had expected and is now on its way to its final destination.

I'm sorry if this is a bit long, ground packages at US customs at this time of year, it's a bit of a mess I reckon, but unfortunately very random and nothing much I can do about except keeping you informed.

Hopefully you receive it soon but if you need more intervention from me please head back to our conversation, I always reply.

Defective Saber

I had a saber that I bought a year and a half ago that suddenly stopped working.Kevin came to my rescue and helped me out. Was very patient with me and sent me instructional videos on how to disassemble the saber and remove the electronics . Turned out that it was a defective pogo connector. He arranged to send me a new button circuit and pogo connector for free—and he extended the warranty on the saber. He did not have to do this, but he did. This is absolutely Amazing OUTSTANDING customer service!!! If I could give him ten stars I would.

After making your order you went into the chat saying that you didn't know that your son had already ordered a saber. I needed your confirmation that you wanted to cancel and understood the 5% payment fee was not refundable, but I never got your reply. I asked again a couple of weeks later and having received no response I concluded all my replies had remain unseen or in the email junk box. So I refunded you exactly 24h ago. With the processing time you should see the refund within 24/48h. If you're not receiving our emails you can check on the shop app or by going back to your order link.

Please edit your 1* review that is highly damaging for my business. I have only done what you asked and I'm sorry it took so long but I was visibly not able to get your confirmation.

Wow!

Exceeded my expectations. Customer service was helpful and fast. Made the quick charge to my order before shipping. Hilt is Awesome. Very happy with my experience and purchase.

The Sabre was great

The Sabre was great! I asked for a non electronics version of the Kyle Katarn hilt for display only and it's amazing. My only comment/concern is that one segment seems to have a wobble to it that I can't seem to tighten down on but other than that, money well spent! Thank you for the fast and friendly service!

A great product

A great product - feels almost like what a "real" lightsaber would in mind. There is internal power coils, catridges.... feels heavy and quality

Hint - The blade colour options are bit hard to operate (or too easy) I keep accidently bumping them on the main switch... I would suggest future models have a separate knob where we can oscellate between colours.

If you want a lightsaber - this is the one to get!

Fantastic customer service

5+ star experience.

The products were great. The shipment came in earlier than expected. I emailed Kevin to add articles to an existing order and he made that super smooth and included with the original shipment.

At the end, when the products arrived, they were well wrapped up, but I had an issue with the app. Mailed Kevin, got a swift response, and not long afterwards I got an updated working beta app, and a little later he emailed me stating the new release-version was out at Play Store.

This is exemplary customer service, and quality products, I can highly recommend this store.

Lightsaber Purchase

The customer service was exceptional, but it was disappointing to receive a damaged chassis. I understand that the damage was deliberate and made for aesthetic reasons, but I was unaware that this alteration was being made and wasn't given an option to select an undamaged version.
But again, the lightsaber itself is fantastic, and it's a great addition to my collection!

Thank you for the review. I do have a comprehensive Youtube channel including videos on unboxing (and details of the contents), assembly videos and a First Steps playlist for new saber owners. Search The Saber Factory on Youtube or look on our homepage.
The saber itself should come fully assembled, sometimes with additional/replaceable parts and decorative greeblies. But in doubt of course if you have any question, I'm available on the support chat platform on the website.
