Great
Had the Soundproof Windows out twice now - once for windows once for a front door. Every other tradesman that has been over since has spontaneously complimented the quality of their work. Friendly customer service team too!

Really grateful for the follow-up review, Daniel. After the 51 dB rail-side windows in 2022, it’s brilliant that the new front door keeps the standard high—and that other trades have noticed the craftsmanship.
The Soundproof Team
They did a great job with replacing all…
They did a great job with replacing all of our windows on a Grade II listed building, including a full rebuild of a front shop window and ten sash windows with shutters (as well as dealing with some nitpicking from the council throughout). They were able to direct me to a good architect to sort out the initial planning permission and drawings, and then kept me informed through the manufacturing process after we got permission.
The new windows make a massive difference for sound levels and insulation compared to the previous windows and seem very good quality. The only very minor complaint I could make is that the shop window rebuild took a little bit longer than originally scheduled, but I think that's well within reason for such a big project.
I would recommend The Soundproof Windows; even if you are in a listed building they can help direct you through the steps involved and make sure everything goes smoothly.

Antwoord van The Soundproof Windows
Really appreciate this, Kevin. Coordinating planning, drawings and council feedback while rebuilding a shopfront and replacing ten sash windows is a proper team effort—so it’s great to hear the quality and performance are clear. On the shopfront: we took extra time to do it right for the building’s heritage—carefully replicating original detailing while rebuilding and thermally improving the supporting structure to modern standards. Noted on the slight overrun; we’ll feed that into future scheduling on listed works.

Sound proofing is excellent
Sound proofing is excellent - completely changed sleep quality. Staff were all knowledgeable and polite. The decoration is not as nice as the original sash but good considering restricted space.

Gemma, many thanks for the 5 stars. Great to hear the noise reduction improved sleep and the staff were knowledgeable and polite. With secondary glazing, restricted reveals mean we can’t always replicate every sash detail, but we aim for the neatest finish possible.

Replaced old double glazing to improve sound insulation
We replaced our bedroom windows because they were old double glazing which provided poor sound insulation from road traffic. Soundproof Windows was very helpful, communicative and transparent from the start, and they provided lots of useful advice. The high quality of the windows is very obvious, and they've improved the sound insulation significantly, removing the higher frequencies, which were the most bothersome. We're very happy with the result, and highly recommend them.

I bought eight tilt & turn secondary windows from Sebastian for my listed house. They do a good job keeping out noise from the A road my house is on. They also completely cut the draft and cold that was getting through the original sash windows. I shopped around a lot and I would recommend Sebastian and team.

Peacefully sleeping finally on a busy road
Sebastian and the whole team we had contact with were really consultative and professional. We are really happy with the windows across the front of our house; they look better but more importantly they have reduced the noise from the road hugely. We are sleeping alot more soundly and that's before getting curtains/blinds so we are very pleased. We would highly recommend this company and product.

Dear Cristina,
Thank you ever so much for sharing such a glowing review of our work. We’re absolutely thrilled to hear how delighted you are with your new sash windows, especially knowing they’ve brought you the quiet, comfort, and sleek look you were hoping for. We understand how important it is to maintain the classic beauty of a Victorian mansion block, so it’s wonderful to know that our solution both preserved the charm of your home and delivered the level of peace you desired.
Excllent communication, great service.
SPW have done lots of projects for our company, but their latest project involved taking out most of a public facing wall and replacing huge Victorian windows.
The project was well managed in advance by the team in the office, with successful site visits and billing.
The biggest praise for this project has to go to the install team who were fast, efficient, communicative and left the place so clean that our housekeeping team didn't know what to do with themselves.
SPW is a perfect example of what happens when you pay a bit more for a top product from a top company.

Dear Dan,
Thank you so much for the fantastic feedback! We’re thrilled you found the entire process, from planning to installation, smooth and well-coordinated. It’s especially great to hear our installers were so efficient that they left your team with nothing to tidy. Your continued trust in us means a lot, and we look forward to working with you on many more projects!
Warm regards,
Top quality windows and positive experience
We recently had seven windows replaced at our East London home by The Soundproof Windows, and we couldn’t be happier with the results. We chose tilt-and-turn imitation sash windows with customised soundproofing for the master bedroom and lounge bay. The project also included rebuilding the entire lounge bay area to address structural issues caused by the old windows and poorly constructed old roof. The final result is stunning, and the newly built bay looks fantastic.
The team was exceptional throughout. Sebastien’s consultation was thorough and he has answered many of our questions before and after the installation was complete, offering the best advice; Krystian excellently managed the installation project and ensured we were happy with all the steps and had all the information we needed; and Julius and his installation/building crew were top-level professional, friendly, and considerate, keeping disruption minimal and keeping us well-informed throughout the process.
The windows are high-quality, slick, sturdy, and incredibly effective. The improvement in noise levels has exceeded our expectations, and we can already feel the difference in comfort and liveability.
If you’re thinking of upgrading your windows for soundproofing or just high quality in general, we thoroughly recommend The Soundproof Windows. A flawless experience!

Highly recommend the team!
I changed my windows with Sebastian, Kyristian and Alice and really appreciated their help. 1). The quality of the window is amazing. I changed my study to soundproof sash and bedroom with soundproof sash with a secondary sash. We used to not be able to sleep in our bedroom given the bedroom is facing a Main Street with noise goes to >70 db, and since we changed the window we could enjoy a quiet sleeping environment with c40db. 2). The team is professional and friendly. My process have been unexpectedly long given some issues and Sebastian and Krystian are super kind and helpful and assisted me to complete the process. I really appreciated the team and highly recommend them!

Dear Luqiao,
Thank you so much for your lovely review and recommendation! It’s fantastic to hear how much your new soundproof sash windows have transformed your home, especially turning your bedroom into a quiet haven from Main Street’s 70dB noise. Achieving a peaceful sleeping environment at around 40dB is precisely the kind of improvement we aim for, and we’re thrilled it’s made such a positive impact.
We truly appreciate your patience during the process, especially given the delays caused by factors related to building management. It was our pleasure to assist you throughout, and Krystian and I are so pleased we could help complete everything.
Thank you for trusting us with your home. If you need anything in the future, you know where to find us!

Perfect Windows - Great Service
We live on a busy main London artery and replaced all our windows (main and secondary) with triple glazed windows from Soundproof Windows. I now watch Buses and the traffic going pass instead of hearing it! the improvement in Thermal insulation is also very noticeable. The windows look very good and fit well within our Victorian building. Most importantly, the team was incredibly efficient and very careful to leave the place clean and spotless. I could not be more impressed
