Thetravelbookings Reviews

Fantastic help and service

My mum and I were always skeptical about flight ads we see online. We gave Thetravelbookings a try and I would say we were pleasantly surprised by the overall good result we had. Marvin Johnson was very helpful in finding us the best possible flight during a very busy and expensive holiday season. Marvin's communication was good and efficient.

However, we wish there were more time to check the details and other options. We were hoping we could have some time to consider our options but we had to pay for everything immediately therefore felt a little pressured.

We were also disappointed that there were some last minute changes with the time agreed to send payment and the price of the flights itself. Additionally, we were not pleased that after being on time with the payment, there was still some issue - we would have thought sending the payment immediately would result to securing the tickets immediately with the agreed price.

That being said, Marvin was very apologetic and was keen to give us a better service in the end. I would say he handled it well and was very professional. Grateful for his service and patience!

The agent I have been dealing with Jane Rose has really been a great help, her service has been exceptional.
Her compassion and sensitivity during this very difficult time for our family has been exemplary.
We thank her for all her assistance and would certainly recommend her as a travel agent to all our family and friends.
Thank you Jane

My agent (Eric) was fantastic from start to finish. He provided me with multiple options, really working hard to find not only the best price but the best flight times, stop over times and seating options available. He was clear and informative and was quick to send me all information about the services, ATOL information and booking terms and conditions.

I had a positive experience and good help from Jane Rose at Travel bookings. Even though the price that I saw advertised for the outward journey was unavailable once I had booked, I decided to pay the extra as the total was still the cheapest at the time. She contacted me straight away and provided updates with my itinerary and I could then check the booking on the Virgin Atlantic website. Trip went perfectly. Many thanks and I will use you again.

Max Williams took care of everything

Beware. I booked 4 premium economy flights with this company. I wanted specific times and booked those flights. I received a call a few days after paying that I had to agree to change the flight times (which were significant). I didn't want to change so asked for a refund and I would book elsewhere. I was told I would need to pay £160 cancellation charge per flight which I wasn’t prepared to do. I emailed numerous times to ask to revert back and was told by Alan that he would ‘guarantee’ this would be facilitated as I booked so far in advance. No surprise that nothing happened. My last message wasn’t even responded to. The last time I spoke with an agent they were mainly concerned whether I was recording the call.
Each time I complained about the change to my flights, I was told it was an airline schedule change. It wasn’t. I suspect they take your money and then rebook onto cheaper flights that suit them and not the customer.
I agree with the other negative reviews that this is not a professional company. I felt scammed.

Jane Rose - very helpful and reliable agent . Genuine best offers and prices
