Eventual installation was good but the management dreadful. Wish I had read the reviews here before committing to this company. Installation commenced only to be told a glass panel was missing. Then, when that had arrived it was a sliding door where they had been "let down by supplier". It is surely elemental to ensure you have all your supplies before commencing work. A 2-3 day installation ended up over 10 days. Apologies eventually received

I wouldn't even give a star to this company. Absolutely attrotrotious service.nl communication whatsoever.
All the fittings were done in stages. Fittings team sent the wrong items around the country- no where near me. No communication from anyone in acknowledgement of any of my emails. My toilet was delivered on the moddle of a road and left for me to go find it. Would never recommend. Don't be fooled by their promises

My father 92 years old, cancelled his order 3 days after placing it on 3/7/2026, followed all instructions, telephoned, sent cancellation form and sent an email. Signed release paper, Telephoned to ask when to expect his refund was told he was in a que, now given a date when to expect it back in his bank was 24 th July, telephone again told 17th August, it finally arrived pending in his bank 14 th August, that is 6 weeks from start to finish, we are not talking of then holding a couple of hundred pounds but £3000, what happened to the 14 day cooling off, he cancelled in 3 days, shocking that they were holding his money this length of time, the cancellation was not his fault he wasn't told till surveyor came and told him he needed a bigger water tank which was nearly another £2000.

From start to finish brilliant job! Would highly recommend. Rob and Dave went above and beyond. Couldn't be happier

From first phone enquiry to the fitting of walk in shower in place of bath our treatment was exceptional and all completed in 3 weeks to the very highest standard, could not have been bettered. The fitter Daren was so fastidious and helpful it was very refreshing to behold, He explained everything he was doing and progress he was making, very impressive, well done Daren!, Not a speck of dust was left thanks to ‘Henry’. Everything was explained fully with a warning not to use for 48 hours. What an impressive operation it all is. Thanks will recommend you in the future without failure.

The WalkinBath company were contacted by my elderly mother in October 2025 and she asked them to survey for removing her bath and installing a shower. She talked it through with them on the phone, agreed a price and paid them a few thousand pounds. This was before the job was even surveyed! They have not been able to explain how they can set a price without viewing the job. When a surveyor came out there was a dispute and the company cancelled the agreement but didn't tell her it was cancelled. This was in October 2025. In December we phoned to ask when the starting date would be and we were told the job had been cancelled. We asked them to reinstate it and we were told it would be done. In January we called them again to find out if there was a date to start the job and again told it was on their records as cancelled. So we asked for a refund and were told the refund would be issued within 14 days. Since then we have called them at least four more times to ask for her refund to be issued, each time there is an excuse - she didn't send back the cancellation form - they were sending an email with cancellation info (it never appeared) - “Oh yes we've received the form saying you're cancelling it and I'll call you back later today or tomorrow to let you know when the refund is being issued.” No call back. All this despite them claiming a refund will be issued within 14 working days of receipt of the cancellation instructions. Latest we’ve heard is that the money will be in her bank on Monday which was back in April. We’ve heard nothing since, despite emailing Jules. She’d like her £3100 back. She is elderly, and a bit confused at times, but no refund has arrived.

Edited to Add: We have now been told the money has been refunded and was processed on 1st July 2026. I've been asked to take the review down but will leave it here as is.

The refund was requested in January, when we realised that the job was still cancelled. Despite four or five phone calls and emails, we have this month been told the refund of her money has been processed. It appears that not the full amount has been refunded, even though the WalkInBathCompany have had her money since October, they have only returned £2800 of the £3100 she initially paid to them.

This company installed a walk in bath for us. The fitter Joe was excellent. However the panels they sent were not what we were expecting. Thank goodness Joe sorted it without using the panels. The bath & fittings are of an excellent quality. We had a few queries as to the use of the taps & they were easily sorted. We do feel however that we have paid a rather high amount to have one bath exchanged for another. Make sure you are very clear about your requirements before work is started.

Bathroom looks beautiful. Following a spinal stroke, I required a walk in bath and shower but also wanted it to be stylish, aesthetically pleasing and design-led, as well as functional and operational to cater for my physical needs. All contact was very helpful and professional with all departments and the workmanship in the bathroom done to an excellent standard. It was also completed ahead of schedule within the time-frame with high quality materials and fittings. Thank you.

We had a deep walk-in bath fitted.

My initial contact was with Carla who was friendly and very efficient, (who rang back whenever she said she would.)

Graham and David ( as the surveyors) who visited to recce the task and produce exact detail were charming and helpful, explaining all aspects, making suggestions and agreeing our requirements.

Paul (the installer, a skilled carpenter and plumber) was punctual, fastidious in keeping the job clean, quick and his making good was excellent. When the delivery van carrying all the new kit arrived, the driver could not help him. Having no one else to help him carry it all up and not wanting to delay the fitting, Paul carried the bath alone up a narrow Victorian staircase (and the old
one down!)

The rubbish removal (not Paul’s task) took a little longer than we expected, but it was not a major issue.

In conclusion: A great job and firm, but at £8k+ this is a pricey way to go. However, if you pay peanuts….

Joe, the plumber, was very good. I will thoroughly recommend him for any plumbing work and bathroom fitting.

The actual product is very good and my 91 year old mother was pleased with it however during installation an error was made by the engineer which required further visits to put this matter right.
To cut a very very long tale short the after sale service received was shameful.Having paid 95% of the balance upfront a catalogue of errors occurred whilst awaiting remedy including demands for payment / requests to call engineers who when contacted knew nothing of why we were calling and despite contacting the MD directly it has taken approx 2 months since original fitting to remedy the issue with an offer of £50 compensation from the company for the inconvenience and stress caused to my mother.
The final balance has now been paid and the matter now closed however it has left a very bad taste and I would not recommend the company solely on the basis of the after sale service.

Full story when the sales man first came and described it i thought yeah great then the price came and I thought HOW MUCH just to change a bath to a walk in shower ( I didn't know just how much work had to go into it now I do) we was told it would be mid February which was fine then a week later we got a phone call a cancellation had happened ( who ever cancelled if you read this thank you) and we got told they could fit it next week great as my 88 year old farther in law lives us life's would be made easier sooner.the work guy turned up monday morning to take out bathroom he couldn't be more helpful and polite if he tried great guy the following day the fitter turned up again fab guy so helpful when we needed to move my farther in law everybody went above and beyond. Now we have stunning new bathroom suited perfectly for us all at what I now consider a really fair price ( now I've seen how much work it takes) i only have 1 problem and thats i have to wait till tomorrow to use it and I want to use it now it looks that good. Where do I start my 87 year old mother in law placed a order with this company for a walk in bath she is a fragile lady and also a 85 year old gentleman both have serious illnesses and mobility problems.
They started the installation and came across a problem with waist pipe which was resolved by ourselves within a couple days We were told to ring when all was sorted which we have done for the last 2 weeks and the receptionist says will get the installation team to ring back which they have not done .we ring every day and are told the same rubbish . They have had 95% of the money and now do not wish to know .
She is left with no bath and no idea when they will finish this if they ever do . Very bad customer service once they got your money .

The service from this company was excellent. Derek Holloway the installed did a very professional job and left a tidy workplace. I would also say that the office staff were readily available and easily contactable.

From start to finish this was the most stress free experience . Jules came to see us and offered suggestions for our needs , he left all the relevant information with absolutely no pressure to buy . We decided we liked what we saw and went ahead with a walk in shower . Ian came to do a survey and went through everything in detail , he was very aware of our needs and made suggestions which were great. Work began on 11th August , Duncan and Graham did the installation and were so respectful of our home , they were a pleasure to have in our house . The work was finished in three days To say we are delighted with the finished product is an understatement , it is absolutely beautiful and the finish is superb. Thank you to all involved in making this such a wonderful experience .

The reason thsre are no negative reviews could be thT when i jeft one the MD called offsring me £500.00 to temove. However when i told him howw i wanted it was told js be hearing from his solicitor for trying to extort cash and black maid

Delighted with the new walk-in shower in place if the bath. The office staff were always readily available and helpful, phone answered very promptly. Graham the surveyor was also very helpful and the installer Joe Brooks was excellent. Work was finished in only one day and he left everything very clean and tidy.
We would definitely recommend this company.

I have never used Trustpilot before. However, I was so impressed by the quality and service provided by the installer, Jim Radford. He was timely, tidy and totally professional. The quality of his workmanship was exceptional, as I know from the fact that my deceased husband was a master builder. I cannot recommend Mr Radford highly enough.
