A lovely gift to receive every month - arrives on time and beautifully presented. I have enjoyed books that fitted into the interests I highlighted when I was given a gift box, but they also broadened my reading too.

I often think I should leave a review on things but always forget! However I have absolutely loved receiving these books. I have enjoyed every single one I received over the last 6 months.

I’ve been buying subscriptions for my 96 year old Granny for years and she loves it. She say the books are always excellent and always arrive just at the right time. It really is the gift that keeps on giving!

I absolutely loved the 3 books that were chosen, given that I didn't give much information, the choices were spot on. Beautifully presented too, makes a lovely surprise through the post.

I was a bit apprehensive about this service, as so many subscription services feel very generic and you pay a lot of money for what appears to be mass produced/mailed.

However, after reading The Willoughby Book Club's website and comparing it with others I felt most confident they could deliver what I wanted and my goodness their subscription is great!

I brought a 12 month subscription for my grandmother who has been an avid reader of whodunit crime novels her whole life. I explained her preferences in great detail in the notes and explained she had read all the works of Agatha Christie and similar authors and waited nervously for her first book (a birthday gift) to arrive... It came and was amazing! The subsequent books have also been outstanding and each month she can't wait for her next one!

I would suggest if you order the subscription to be honest about your reading habits, likes and dislikes - as well as what you have read before to get an accurate subscription but honestly I think this is a stellar gift!

I have really enjoyed this gift of Willoughby books. I have read books that I would not otherwise have done which has been exciting. I had already read some of the books and the friendly staff quickly gave me substitutes.

I am surprised to find that receiving a book a month from The Willoughby Book Club is the best thing that happens to me on a regular basis.
I am surrounded by illness and death and I struggle to see the point in it all, but i love receiving the notification that a book is on its way, I love opening the wrapper and I always love the surprise.

I have now received over 25 books from Willoughby over a three-year period, and only once was I sent a book I had already read. After a quick phone call, a replacement was sent immediately.

There’s something exciting about receiving a book someone else has selected for you based on your chosen genre and favourite authors. On many occasions, I’ve thoroughly enjoyed books I would never have picked off the shelf myself.
