The Window Shutter Company Reviews

Was going down the Blinds route until I saw my parents Shutters from The Window Shutters Company and I was sold.
Tim came round and helpfully guided me through the Shutters, fittings and colours. I decided on Seattle (MDF) and Taupe - very happy I did and the colour was stylish, perfect for both the Living room and Master Bedroom.
Lead time was estimated at 14-16 weeks due to Brexit and the Pandemic which was fine. Liz kept me updated on progress during the lead time, which was great. Fitting was arranged at the 15/16 week mark, and was professionally fitted by Tim & Andy and only took 1 hour per window.
Overall, extremely happy with the Shutters, finish, colour, friendliness and the communication throughout the process and I would highly recommend.
Thanks Liz and Tim

What fantastic shutters! I love them! Great company - friendly, professional, honest and very knowledgeable. Fantastic communication throughout the process and the day of fitting was smooth and tidy. The shutters are in our dining area and I can't wait to show them off!

Professional and friendly company. I would highly recommend. They are very transparent and honest with what they can offer and pricing. I felt comfortable that I was offered what I wanted rather than upsold something needlessly. The work was carried out quickly and very professionally, despite being a difficult window to fit. The shutters look great. I highly recommend this company.

Fantastic service by Tim and Liz - advised me so well and am delighted with the result. Lovely local company would not hesitate to recommend.

These guys are a pleasure to work with. Friendly and great communication despite the logistical supply challenges that came with lockdown they kept us in the loop continually.
The product itself is great quality too and Tim fitted our shutters easily and without fuss. We are really pleased with the end result as they complete the room perfectly and we would have no hesitation recommending to others.

Have just had bedroom, hall and conservatory shutters installed by Tim and Andy and are totally thrilled with them. They look fantastic, especially the bedroom ones (mahogany with the blackout blinds in) Has made such a difference to the look of all the rooms and the quality and service throughout have been fantastic. Thanks so much to you all, Tim was really helpful from the start of the process. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this company.

Great communication from the outset, we were informed every stage of the way and today Shutters installed as planned - fast, clean and very professional service.

Very happy with our recent purchase. We have used The Window Shutter Company previously, and so didn't want to look elsewhere for our recent installation.
Liz was very efficient with all email communication and Tim was very helpful and punctual with the initial fitting. The installation itself was very quick and easy. Tim and Rich left the rooms spotless and I had every confidence in the team.
Liz liaised with us beforehand regarding the company’s policy concerning Covid restrictions and procedures, and we were very happy that these were honoured. We would highly recommend this company.

Shutters were installed yesterday (19/04/21), Tim and Rich were here bang on the time that they said they would be and installed the shutters quickly and perfectly. They look amazing and the both Tim and Rich were very professional and friendly. They left no mess and were done within a couple of hours. Would definitely recommend shutters from this company. The whole process has been smooth and well communicated, and the end result is stunning! thanks very much for the great work.

A big thank you to Tim and Liz, who have once again supplied and fitted a high quality shutter. We chose to go back to this company as our previous experience had been so good, and once again we have been delighted with the professional, quick and reliable service they have provided. Would recommend them to family and friends.

Love our new window shutters and so pleased we chose them through The Window Shutter Company. Liz kept in touch the whole way through the process so we knew what to expect and on the day, Tim and Rich were friendly and professional and extremely tidy! Thank you so much, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend!

We have just shutters fitted to a large window - it is an unusual shape. Nick & colleague arrived on time and completed the installation to a very high standard. They were meticulous in their work, the job was quite tricky and took longer than planned. They were very tidy and cleared up afterwards. Very professional at all times and we would highly recommend this company. We are very satisfied and will would happily use again.

We are really happy with our new shutters. Tim is really knowledgeable and when he visited to quote was able to answer all our questions and give some great advice about which style would work best for our window.
The installation was straight forward and we are really pleased with the result. Communication was great too and we were kept up to date with the progress of our order. thank you very much!

Whole process from initial enquiry very easy. We were updated at every stage and information about what to expect when we were visited for measuring stage right through to install. The install was very efficient. Tim and Mike were very considerate as one of us was working and on calls. They checked they weren’t making too much noise and were very tidy and careful in our home. They also made good the holes in our walls left by the previous blinds so it is ready to paint. We are really pleased with the results. Would recommend. Thank you very much.

Faultless and smooth experience from Liz and Tim. Very friendly with regular updates regarding delivery and quick, clean installation. The shutters look superb! Thank you.

From start to finish the experience with The Window Shutter Company has been excellent and seamless. We were able to arrange a covid safe quote after receiving an estimate based on the measurements I supplied. At the quotation visit Tim explained the pros and cons of the different materials available, explained the different mechanisms and their pros and cons which was really helpful in making a decision about the final finish . Id had a couple of quotation visits prior to Tim and he was by far the most clear and knowledgable about the product. All correspondence was answered very quickly when arranging the quotation visit and the installation visit and we were kept well informed on the progress of our order, Liz communicated brilliantly throughout. The installation was really smooth, they ensured it was covid safe at at all times, they were tidy and completed the work swiftly and effectively. The final look is excellent and we are over the moon with our shutters. We would not hesitate in recommending this company to anyone and everyone.

Absolutely delighted with my new shutters .
Great service .Super tidy, efficient and friendly .Thanks so much

Before considering this company you need to know that the owner Tim is extremely rude ! The positive is he actually warns you he is rude and blunt! I called him for help with a situation and I have never had anyone speak to me like that it was very upsetting , in terms of our shutters, half of them were clearly measured to small so we have very large gaps filled with cork which looks awful, we also got a door shutter which after installing they tell us that the door is too big so we have to lift it every time we shut it which is ridiculous we paid £1000 for this door and we have to left it!

Excellent service and really high quality product. Kept fully up to date from order through to installation. Highly recommend
