Really happy with the whole experience with Think Renewable. The job was able to go ahead a lot sooner than we expected, which was great. Communication was good throughout and the installers did a neat and professional job. Very happy with the end result and would definitely recommend them.

Sales process - got sold a premium product and with the promise of great after sales service. Went with this organisation due to their perceived expertise and support. Couldn’t be further from the truth. Call centre is based out of the Philippines. Customer service manager doesn’t return calls or manage escalated cases like mine.

Installation was a nightmare:
- Damaged my new colour bond roof. Screws were also left off (causing leaks) and roof sheets left unsecured.
- Didn’t know what a stud finder was….as a result, left holes in my wall. Drilled and cracked wall corner.
- Also didn’t know what a spirit level was….battery installed on an incorrect angle.
- Dragged the battery on the ground during install and caused the protective layer to be damaged hence causing rust to the new batteries after 2 weeks.
- Incorrect cable size was initially installed to cut cost/corners
- Didn’t install/finish agreed scope (hot water timer)
- Flickering lights in the bathrooms, kitchen and fridge

After sales service didn’t happen without me pushing and project managing an outcome.

After 10 revisits (yes…..10. This is not a typo), most of the above have now been remedied. However, I still have flickering lights.

A compensation amount was agreed to with their General Manager so that we can all move on. Agreement was confirmed in writing with the board’s approval.

Well……apparently not! Think Renewable have since retracted their proposed compensation.

Buyer beware. This organisation cannot be TRUSTED!

They employ exceptionally talented people, eg Rami and his team.. We had a few challenges getting the initial instillation done, including a truck dying on the way here and wat too many wet days but the boys arrived and completed all but one panel - it got too dark. We were then away for a month but Rami followed up and finished the job for us with a bright smile and no complaints.

Sales team were perfect install went ok. They connected the solar and battery and my pool filter started tripping. They disconnected the pool without telling me it was disconnected and went on their way. They looked for shortcuts and do the job quickly to get through the jobs. Go with someone else.

Incomplete customer service.
Our appointment was cancelled without any prior notification. Having waited for about 30 minutes with no one turned up, we messaged their office and asked about it. Only then we were told that the appointment was canceled.

Friendly staff made the process simple from quote to installation, took the time to explain the benefits of a battery and how it will bring my energy bills down.

I very rarely leave reviews for anything, but I have made an exception in this case. Think Renewable were outstanding and delivered everything that they promised and then some

I was very specific about who I wanted to come and install the system, so I made an appointment with Reece from Think Renewable and he came out to my property and showed me where the Panels will fit on my roof, how much electricity they will generate and how all the rebates and incentives work. Reece also explained how a Battery would be viable for my situation as I have a lot of night time usage. I have had numerous quotes for Solar but not as detailed as this, I was very impressed and signed up with Reece straight away

We just had the system installed last week and I am so glad I chose Think Renewable. The installation was neat and tidy, the installers were very friendly and explained everything that they were doing and even helped me set up the app so I can monitor the system. I am very impressed to say the least

Think Renewable have been very helpful the entire process of my solar and battery installation. The in-house installation team were fantastic and happy to chat when asked questions.

Quick and neat instal..electrician communicated user information well ...equipment performs as expected

So we had some people knock on our door from Think Renewable. I've been thinking about getting a battery for my solar system in the past. I agreed to have someone come talk to us and give my partner and me some quotes.

The night came and old mate Jason Campbell rocked up we were chatting and all was good, we went through the full process and then at the end when Jason Campbell asked which quote i wanted to go ahead with, i told him i just wanted a quote for the 5 and 10kw system and that id go through them over the next couple days to see what better suits our solar supply i was met with "well i hope this is worth my time".

Mate ya doing ya job trying to sell me a product... don't complain about whether it's worth ya time or not. And not only that, for a 10kw system without blackout protection, which was an extra $500. I was met with a quote of $14,311. now iv gone with VoltX and I'm getting the same thing with blackout protection for only $5,788 and only a $100 deposit upfront for the install.
