As usual TM Hughes were quick to respond to my request for someone to attend the property. There were leaks in the under kitchen sink pipework - all fixed to my satisfaction very quickly. Thanks Terry, another great job!

Initially fitted new boiler and radiators. Tidy, reliable and professional. Annual service just completed a thorough check with no issues. Terry completed all relevant paperwork.

Needed a new system fitted - pipes and radiators in a 3 bed house. The whole project was expertly managed with top quality workmanship throughout.

I just had 5 radiators replaced in my house and I have to say I have never been so pleased with way a job has been carried out! Clean, no mess behind, quick and efficient! There was no damage to the property and Terry has explained how important is to have serious fixtures when fitting new decorative radiators in. True professionals.

We booked TM Hughes for various electric jobs including fixing faulty sockets; installing outdoor lights; installing an electric heater; and adding network cabling, all whilst I was working from home. The electrician did it all in the day and was able to work around my work meeting times when turning off power. I left him to advise on a suitable heater and outdoor light and went with his recommendation. Both work perfectly.

Called up last week to get my boiler serviced and James turned up today on time and explained everything clearly and carried out a full service on the boiler. Great service from this company, would highly recommend, gives peace of mind that the heating and hot water is working as it should.

Couldn’t fault Terry, called us back at 9pm to help with our problem over the phone talked us through everything thoroughly would definitely recommend and use again!

My annual boiler service was carried out today in the usual efficient way by Terry Hughes. I have used T M Hughes for a number of years now for my central heating and plumbing needs and would highly recommend them.

I have never recommended a plumber in my life! Why? Because attitudes and skills are totally dependent on "who you get." Also plumbers are often currently very busy and difficult to find.

In this case Terry Hughes demonstrated a highly professional approach in solving a difficult problem with underfloor heating. He even turned up on the day he said he would, and his communication skills were very good.

So I am very pleased with the result.

I stumbled across TM Hughes online late Saturday afternoon while desperately looking for someone to take a look at my boiler. Although Terry couldn’t get to me that day, he offered to talk me through some things to try which I am relived to say worked. A genuine guy and saved me a big emergency call out charge for what turned out to be a simple fix. Would definitely recommend and I’ll be calling back when my service is due. Thank you again Terry!

Terry solved a big controls problem for me which blew my boiler pcb. He thought out of the box, made the old controls redundant and installed and configured a new Active Hive System for both heating and hot water. Delighted with him! Excellent Service, Competitive rates and straight and honest throughout. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend and use again. Thank you Terry!

The boiler had error code 118 and would not warm up the water. It was established quickly that error 118 means the water pressure in the boiler is too low. With a quick phone call, a few photos and Whatsapp messages, I was guided how to connect the hose up to the boiler and how to re-pressurise it. Took all of 5 minutes and now the boiler is working perfectly. Amazing! Thank you for the quick assistance, the willingness to help out over a phone call and debugging the issue with a video and photos.

I found a leak under my sink Tuesday night at 7pm and was leaking quite a lot. I called and he was at my door 6:30am the following morning and managed to fix the problem in 15 mins. Was very helpful! Would defo recommend.

I would have no hesitation in recommending Terry’s firm, I have used them a few times now and they are always punctual, friendly, and professional. Most recently, Terry identified a potentially dangerous fault with my boiler and went out of his way to fix it and save me the potential expense of having to fit a new boiler. Couldn’t ask for a better local plumbing service and I will be a long returning customer. Cheers guys.

The engineer from TM Hughes replaced the faulty flush mechanism in our toilet cistern. He also fitted a new pipe behind the toilet to make it easier to isolate it. Jake, our engineer, was friendly and helpful and explained what he was doing and the options available. We have used TM Hughes before, and would do so again.

Terry and his team did a fantastic job.
