Pro’s. Lovely cottage. Very comfortable ,very well equipped, amazing location on the estuary with mudflats to water lapping below you twice a day.

Cons. Parking and access to cottage is a faff but ok once you’re in. Lighting on the steps from road needs attention. None working as of October. Some building work next door but was not an issue for us.
Twin room mattresses felt thin .

Good selection of properties. Easy booking process and good communication from company.

Gorgeous property, stunning view. Need to be fit fir walking round and to and from the cottage..but it is worth every step. Great people and staff in all the pubs and shops are awesome..😊

Our experience of Toad Hall Cottages and the properties they market has always been good. I wont lie when we found out that there was to be major gas works outside the property during our stay we were a little concerned, but THC took care of arranging alternative parking nearby and provided us with an electronic permit.

When mum was hospitalised during our stay, Toad Hall Cottages went above and beyond to support us with the challenge of not knowing when she would be discharged, arranging with owners a continuation of stay for me if needed, putting my mind at rest and allowing us to focus on getting mum fit and well.

Great service, excellent communication and fantastic properties. We will be booking again!

We made a last minute booking. My enquiry was dealt with very quickly, efficiently and all with a helpful, friendly manner. Great experience, would definately book again.

Lots of lovely properties in the south west, all of a good standard. Booked easily on line, website is easy to use with suitable filters. Given lots of information about the property and surrounding area, attractions, pubs and restaurants. Quick to reply to any queries, either by email or phone.

We loved our time at white cottage. The house is great, really comfortable beds and spacious lounge, dining and kitchen area. People had mentioned road noise but we found it really quiet and peaceful. It’s a brilliant location and great if you have dogs - nearest beaches are all dog friendly. Also fab walks minutes from the house. Toad hall as good as ever - thank you

We had a great time in Lyme Regis & found the accommodation very comfortable. We did need to contact Toad Hall about a technical problem & within 30 minutes Joe the maintenance man arrived. What a super team & Joe is a great advertisement for the company. Looking forward to returning.

Toadhall cottages do not print all review’s especially if you write anything negatively. Even though it is your experience and opinion they quoted the following to me via email when I questioned why my review had not been printed -

Two of my colleagues, who use the cliff/coastal path to the beach on a regular basis, reviewed your comments, and feel that it was not reflective of the current situation. In short I advised them - Photographs not representative of current situation ie cottage is overlooked by other properties that have been underpinned (steel rods into the cliff held together with a net) to stop further erosion.
Very difficult to access beach from property without climbing over rocks. Gate is no Longer there. Bottom wire of fence is missing and therefore not enclosed for dogs.
Old coastal path stops at property. We had several People ask us the way.
The drive is extremely dangerous in wet weather. We got stuck on the rising hairpin bend and skidded. Dreadful experience.

the accomadation had everything we needed and was clean and tidy. Peaceful area.

The Exchange is a beautiful property, very well maintained and so clean. The views are just stunning. Huge bedrooms and lovely kitchen, with great furniture in the living room too, and the picture perfect window lets so much light in. We truly loved our stay here and hope to return. Thank you to the owners and Toad Hall.

Excellent company to deal with, have booked with other companies I always return to Toad Hall Cottages. Booking is straightforward and an easy site to navigate but what I like best is the standard of the accommodation available through them, always of the highest standards, comfort and cleanliness. Would highly recommend them!

Toad Hall Cottages are an excellent company to work with. They reply to emails immediately and are always there to help. It is always possible to speak to an actual person not a pre recorded voice and the call always goes straight through to a person. I cannot recommend them too highly

Lovely cottage, great location and view of the harbour from the bedroom. Bathroom very small, would be very difficult to use for larger guests or people with mobility difficulties and the upper floors were damp which affected our clothes and bedding. If the problems with the damp were fixed and some other small DiY work done, it would be perfect, but our stay in the cottage was slightly disappointing but the village and hostilities were amazing. Be aware of parking for unloading and loading when arriving and departing, this needs careful planning as not easy, especially if you have mobility problems or large amounts of luggage due to no parking in the village at all!

We have found that Toad Hall cottages are the best company to book our holiday with .. The staff are always very helpful and polite ..
Excellent choice of properties to choose from ..

Our rental property was perfectly located, presented, furnished and equipped. Spacious private, secure and undercover parking was excellent. The house was right on the edge of town and the quay so everything we needed was a short walk away. Balcony was a great place from which to people-watch and rear terrace an afternoon sun-trap.
