We couldn’t be happier with our new kitchen and the whole experience from start to finish.

Tim was fantastic as the designer and project lead. He really listened to what we wanted to achieve, understood how we wanted the kitchen to look and work, and then brought the whole vision to life. His attention to detail was excellent, and he managed the project brilliantly throughout.

Gary, who ran the installation, was incredibly helpful and made sure everything ran smoothly. Josh did an amazing job with the installation itself. He was a genuinely lovely guy, worked quickly but thoroughly, and took real pride in his work. Before he left, he even took the time to talk us through how everything worked, which was a great finishing touch.

Vince then came in to complete the painting. Another lovely guy who worked neatly, carefully and with great attention to detail.

Overall, the whole team were brilliant — professional, friendly, helpful and clearly proud of what they do. We’re absolutely delighted with the finished kitchen and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.

We chose Tom Howley for our kitchen because of their designer, Nina who works out of the St Albans branch. She is absolutely incredible, and we specifically wanted her working on our project. Her creativity, attention to detail and professionalism made the design process a pleasure, and the showroom staff were all amazing—welcoming, knowledgeable and genuinely helpful throughout.

The finished kitchen itself is beautiful we constantly receive compliments, and the quality of the product is excellent. Our installers, Nick and Dave, were also fantastic. Their workmanship was first class, they were a joy to have around, friendly, professional, tidy and clearly took pride in their work.

Unfortunately, that’s where the positive experience ends. The delivery process, the replacement of missing and damaged parts, and the aftercare have all been disastrous. Delays, poor communication and a lack of urgency in resolving issues have really taken the shine off what should have been an exciting experience. It’s disappointing that a premium product and exceptional front-line team are let down by such poor operational support.

If Tom Howley could bring their delivery and aftercare up to the same standard as their designers, showroom staff and installers, they would offer a truly outstanding customer experience.

I don’t often leave 1-star reviews, but I feel this one is fully justified.

From the outset, this project has been plagued by delays, repeated mistakes, poor workmanship, damaged items, and furniture that has had to be remade because it was manufactured incorrectly. What should have been a straightforward installation has turned into months of disruption, with issue after issue.

Most incredibly, my kitchen is still not fully fitted or fitted correctly. Despite the amount of time that has passed, I am still left with an unfinished kitchen and outstanding defects that should never have occurred in the first place.

What has been equally disappointing is the lack of communication. Emails go unanswered for days, updates are only provided when chased, and there appears to be little urgency to resolve matters despite concerns being raised throughout the project.

I have been more than patient and have given every opportunity for these issues to be put right, but my confidence in Tom Howley Kitchens has been completely lost.

I sincerely hope this review reaches senior management, as the level of service I have received is nowhere near what should be expected from a premium company. I am now pursuing the matter formally and hope someone with the authority to take ownership of this situation will contact me before further action becomes necessary.

I am delighted with my new kitchen. Every one at Tom Howley was so helpful, friendly and professional, from Tim at the Tunbridge Wells showroom, to Gary our project manager, Glen our fitter and Vince the painter. I would highly recommend Tom Howley for a beautiful bespoke kitchen

The entire process was seamless.
Started with Sandra. She helped design our highly customized piece to our very specific needs.
Next came Ian. He was our installation manager. He measured multiple times and guided us through the installation process. He followed up multiple times to ensure quality.
Shahid and Abdullah installed everything with care and precision, as if it were going into their own flats. Lastly, Koylu painted the piece with the highest level of detail and attention. Everyone involved in this process took such accountability and pride to get this job done correctly and perfectly. We are beyond impressed with the whole process and could not be happier with the final result. One of the easiest recommendations is for Tom Howley. Flawless.

We first chose Tom Howley to install a kitchen in our last property in 2015 and the experience was absolutely first class from the design through to installation and project management. My wife’s only regret in moving to our current house was leaving her lovely Tom Howley kitchen behind. It was clear that we would have to have another so we went back after 11yrs to the showroom in Alderley Edge. The staff had changed, our lovely designer had retired and an enthusiastic young man, Matt Boyes is now the designer. Once again the design experience was great, and Matt came up with a fabulous layout, but listened to all of our preferences and adapted the design perfectly to suit. The Kitchen install was planned well in advance to key into a larger overall project and was started on time and completed on time! Thanks to great project management and coms with Don our PM. The installer, Will, is amazing, a skilled professional with an exacting eye for detail, and a nice guy to boot! Finally our painter, Gavin continued with the same meticulous eye for detail. A great result and fantastic kitchen! We would thoroughly recommend Tom Howley!

We have just completed our kitchen fit with Tom Howley and we simply love it. Stewart our designer was patient and accommodated out many requests. The whole project was managed by Helen and it was such a pleasure having her on hand to answer questions coming back on site multiple times to double check measurements when the builder needed to make a structural change, Helen never made us feel like any question was too much trouble.
We were so grateful that Tom Howley were able to pull forward out fit out when they had a cancellation. Our fit out team - Tom, Chris, Andy and Joe were a real pleasure to have in the house.

When you’re doing a big project with lots of trades coming and going it’s stressful, even when it goes well and coming in at the end of the run puts a pressure to deliver - the Tom Howley team rose to that challenge and made sure that our project finished on a high.
If you’re thinking of a new kitchen and you want a space that will be the heart of your home you should definitely work with the Tom Howley team.

From the design process with Richard and April, to the pre-fit build with their partner builder Gordy and team, to the fitters Jason and Tony with Don’s management .. the whole experience was excellent, every care was taken to ensure we got a kitchen designed for us, and was installed with care and precision. The products are very high quality and have given us more storage in a stylish design suited to our needs. Would highly recommend. Communication throughout made a complex project seamless.. thank you so much, we are thrilled with the final result

We recently had a walk-in wardrobe fitted by Tom Howley and have been really pleased with the experience. Don and his team in particular couldn’t have done more for us throughout the process — incredibly helpful, accommodating and professional.. Thank you to everyone involved!

The customer service/response time is excellent even years after my kitchen installation. After 9 years, I wanted to know what my options were for having a repaint done. Within a couple of days I was contacted by a painter who paint Tom Howley kitchens. Received paint samples for units within a couple of days and now all booked in. Absolutely 100% would recommend this company.

Throughout the design and fitting of my new kitchen I felt that Tom Howley was committed to providing a customer-centric experience. Their attention to detail, professionalism and commitment to quality was evident throughout the process, indeed on occasions minor blemishes that I had not spotted were brought to my attention before being corrected. The installation was managed start to finish for me and from my perspective was pain free. I definitely feel the commitment to quality personified by Installation manager Don, and kitchen fitter Ron, helped me achieve the very best result.

I rate this company as 5 stars , from initial visit to their showroom to the final paint. We started the process with Lucy in the Bristol office, at first we did not think we could afford one of TH's kitchens, but after discussing what we wanted Lucy said the best way to do it was for her to come and do a site visit at our home. She designed a great kitchen and took a lot of different things into account which we had not thought of. Once we had agreed the design and pushed the button we got handed over to Helen, she did the final measurements and really then took total control of our kitchen build. Helen kept us informed on any changes and even managed to bring the install date forward which worked great for us.
Chris and Tom did the fitting, very professional and did a fantastic job, this was followed by Joe who filled all holes and repainted the kitchen .
We have ended up with our dream kitchen and would recomend Tom Howley both for the product and the way they manage the process of order to installation

Firstly I should start that we are delighted with the Tom Howley "boot room". The quality is exceptional and everything has been fitted exactly as specified. However the fitting and finishing off of the furniture by the Tom Howley staff has been exceptional. We must mention Ron and Phil who did the fitting - proper craftsmen and such attention to detail. April who did such a thorough job of design from the Altricham shop. And Don. It is rare to find someone with such a "can-do" approach and the best customer service I think we have ever had. And while calling people back and pro-actively communicating doesnt sound a high hurdle - it really is for most businesses. However Don was exceptional. Thank-you. Harriet and Nick

Rosalind Lang at the Cheltenham Showroom was absolutely brilliant throughout the entire process. Functionality, budget and style was considered and discussed at all times to ensure clients needs and concerns were addressed.
Helen Thornell who managed the fitting was very helpful and efficient. The kitchen fitter was exceptional. Extremely professional and tidy with a focussed attention to detail.

We recently completed a kitchen project with Tom Howley and could not be happier with the end result. From the initial design stage right through to completion, the entire experience was exceptional.

The quality of the kitchen itself is outstanding — beautifully designed, incredibly well made, and finished to such a high standard. The attention to detail throughout the whole process really stood out and the final result has completely transformed the space.

A very special thank you must go to Don, our project manager, whose customer service was excellent from beginning to end. He went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly, kept us updated throughout, and was always on hand to offer support and reassurance whenever needed. His professionalism and care genuinely made the whole experience stress-free and enjoyable.

We would also like to thank the kitchen fitters and painters for their exceptional craftsmanship. Their work was meticulous and carried out with real pride and attention to detail. They were friendly, polite, helpful and respectful throughout, and it honestly felt like nothing was ever too much trouble.

The whole team went the extra mile and it really shows in the final result. We are absolutely delighted with our kitchen and would highly recommend Tom Howley to anyone looking for outstanding quality, design and service.

It was never a question that Tom Howley would be the best choice for our new kitchen and media unit. Their reputation proceeded them but nonetheless, we were blown away. From the start, in the Esher showroom, Chris H was an absolute gem and delight to work with. He was so patient throughout every single design detail, really listened to what we wanted (even helped show us what we didn’t know we wanted!) He really cares for the project as if it’s his own and it was such a relief to be able to trust him fully. He was always quick to respond to phone calls, text messages and emails.

We then had Paul managing the installation process and he was fantastic too. We wanted a few tweaks and he couldn’t have been more accommodating. The whole TH have been outstanding- the fitters and painter, very professional but super friendly and their craftsmanship blows you away. We are so happy we chose TH as unfortunately this level of service (no matter how much you pay) is never guaranteed but they have exceeded all our expectations. Would highly recommend them as we now have the most beautiful kitchen and media unit. Thank you to the entire team!

Hard work. Communication could b a lot better. Design was good, drawings were poor. Fitting good, missing and replacement items poor. All the representatives I met were fine. All conversations with head office were painful. The end result looks good but next time I would procure an alternative manufacturer.

Stacey Cobley came to our house, organised through Bristol branch, spending time listening to our ideas for our new kitchen. She was thoroughly professional, answering our questions fully and demonstrating real enthusiasm. Her level of knowledge and attention to detail were really high and, though we have chosen not to pursue the work, we can highly recommend both Stacey and Tom Howley Kitchens.

Going for a Tom Howley for our kitchen was the best decision we made for our home.

Sandra has been amazing from the very first day we went to the Wigmore street showroom, she took her time explaining the different products and guided us through everything.

The kitchen is now installed and adds great warmth and character to our home.
