Ordered two things of this company and still not arrived they are the worse company I have delt with in years all you get off then is sorry your pay Pal address is wrong sorry but your the only company that carnt deliver my parcels from pay Pal Anthony is a waste of breath really disappointed and really bad company not be using these again and I'd ask anyone to stay away and spend somewhere else .

Ordered a replacement chainsaw chain on Monday afternoon and it arrived Tuesday afternoon. Can't beat that - will definitely use again.

I purchased a Tool Inlay Holder for a Dewalt TStak IV carry case. The part was very hard to find elsewhere but Power Tool Centre were able to supply it. Unfortunately, when it arrived it wouldn't fit inside the Dewalt carry case as expected. But Anthony at PTC was very helpful and, between us, we were able to discover the cause of the fault, which was that Dewalt supplied various (very similar but not exactly the same) shaped tool boxes marked with the same product code. PTC agreed to sell me boxes that were tried and tested and that fitted perfectly, and they were delivered quickly and at a good price. I'm grateful and a very happy customer.

I bought a Black and Decker thermal leak detector on-line, which was showing 1 - 3 day delivery. When it didn't arrive within 3 days I rang and spoke to James, one of the customer service advisers, who told me that the item was out of stock. He then spoke to Black and Decker and advised me that the delivery would be at least another 3 weeks so I asked for a refund, which he organised straight away. Very good and efficient customer service from James, thank you.

Sent a faulty B&D sander to them for repair as it had a 2 year warranty and was only 1 year old … they texted me to say that i never enclosed the receipt which was utter nonsense as I sent it back in the box I purchased it in and I always keep the receipt in the box , I also remember checking the date on it before I sealed the box along with my return address and a description of the fault … to say they never got the receipt is an absolute disgrace and have obviously misplaced it or lost it . I’m writing this review so it never happens to anyone else , photo copy your receipt or they might just say you never enslosed it .
Why B&D use this lot is beyond me .

ordered a replacement part for my electric screwdriver. eventually this arrived. i then discovered they had sent the wrong part. when i notified them they asked for pictures of item sent - which i did; they confirmed i had been sent the wrong item and instructed me to post item back ; which i did ; then nothing! 3 weeks have now passed and they don't even reply to emails asking what is happening

First time I’ve used these people but seriously impressed with their range of spares.I had an ageing Makita blower which I needed parts for.The spares were easy to find on the comprehensive website,purchase and payment were easy and goods were received in a few days.All nicely packaged.

Lost a part of my vacuum which led to our filter getting clogged and dirty incredibly fast. I couldn't find the part that we lost anywhere on the internet, except on this website. We ordered it, it was at a good price. Boom, the part fit perfectly into the vacuum.

The wait was pretty long because they had to order the part first, but worth it. Very happy with this company and definitely will use them again if the need rises.

Ordered a spool cover for my B&D strimmer, arrived within two days and fits perfectly. Says it is a genuin B&D part, however, looks more substantial than the original part.

Just used this company for the first time and had a minor problem. Confusion on my part but not made clear on their site. I can only congratulate them on their prompt reply to my email and their explanation and solution. Thanks Tom and Courtney. Restored my confidence in using the net. Would recommend without hesitation.

Used this website to order two replacement parts for a Black and Decker 36 volt cordless lawn mower. The site has a simple to use component search facility and I easily found the exact items I had been looking for. The pricing was highly competitive but the postal costs (for 48 hour signed for delivery) negated this advantage a little.

I was concerned about ordering given the negative reviews but my experience so far has been good - needed a range of parts for a Makita hedge cutter, they had everything and it arrived on time.

I also got vouchers for wine and razor blades via Third Parties - some customers will see these as a bonus, some will bin them, either way worth reading the small print

Was able to find the commutator for my DeWalt router using the extensive exploded diagrams. Rapid feedback on a question, followed by delivery within three days. Good price and service, good experience.

My credit card got abused after a purchase on line at ptc.tools. Either the company's system is hacked or an internal employee is using the credit card details to do purchases of exclusive cloth brands.

I ordered a replacement special-fit wingnut for a B&D workmate. It was promptly delivered, but it failed within one year of light use.
When I contacted Power Tool Centre for a replacement, I was refused one. "We cover the items for 30 days but after that if the part breaks there is nothing we are able to do."
I beg to differ...

Recently ordered a spare for ancient B&D drill. Part arrived quickly. Had no idea how to fit it so spent ages speaking to staff who had much more knowledge & tips than Google. Helpful, pleasant, patient and accurate. Many thanks

Part order specifically for a particular model, which their website said it fitted. It didn’t fit. It wasn’t a part that wil for the model I ordered it for.

I ordered rubber foot feets for workmate, received them without any problems in 3 days. So why 2 stars?
From my point of view, this Company is a part of a con called "Naked Wines Angel's Club Scheme" as
Power Tool Centre sends around Naked Wines vouchers promising a heafty discount if you buy a box of 12 bottles of wine on Naked Wines website and I have no doubts earning money for this service. The catch here is as soon as you decided to do ONE OFF purchase to use this voucher, you'll be automatically enroled into so called Angels club and £20 will be taken from your account every month. A notice from website: "We're looking for new customers who want to join us as Angels and put £20 a month into their wine accounts to support independent winemakers". Moreover, according to reviews about Naked Wines on Trustpilot, it's quite diffficult to get out of this scheme and return money.
Another thing which should be taking into consideration by PTC is the fact that alcohol advertising can be illegal, especially in some parts of UK. E.g. in Scotland
"The Alcohol etc. (Scotland) Act 2010 introduced a number of restrictions on discounts and special offers related to alcohol products. Promoters are therefore urged to seek legal advice before carrying out alcohol promotions in Scotland."
Anyway, I DO NOT need any flyers/vauchers/offers in my parcel (especially that dubious ones), I do not want anybody to dare to think that they know what I could be interested in. Just put what I've ordered there and next time you will get better rate.
P.S. Btw there were another offers to enrol to other product trials, also not cheap options, I just don't have time to talk about them now.
