I bought an expensive vape from TVape. A part broke when I tried to clean it. I contacted TVape support and they told me to contact the manufacturer. When I contacted the manufacturer, they said that I needed to deal with warranty through TVape. I contacted TVape a second time and was ignored.

Ordering and receiving the product was great.
Support from TVape was non-existant and disappointing.

Shipping was very fast, which was greatly appreciated as it was a replacemsnt glass for my peak pro and I prefer to smoke rosin only so was only without my rig for a couple days.

Consumer Complaint Regarding Yocan Product Quality and Customer Service

I am making this complaint because the issue is not simply that I was dissatisfied with a product. The issue is the apparent lack of acceptable product quality and the manner in which my complaint has been handled.

I purchased a Yocan Evolve-D Plus. The two coils supplied with the new unit each lasted approximately three days. During normal use, the coil burns a small hole through the centre, leaving the material around it unusable unless the unit is repeatedly disassembled and the material redistributed.

In my view, that is not reasonable performance from a newly purchased product. It raises a basic question about the design and quality control of the product.

What is particularly frustrating is that, rather than addressing the underlying quality issue, I have essentially been directed toward purchasing additional replacement coils. That leaves the customer paying repeatedly to compensate for a product that does not appear to be performing properly in the first place.

I have also been disappointed with the response to my complaint. The fact that the coils came supplied with the new unit should not simply become an excuse to shift responsibility elsewhere. If Yocan believes the problem is the manufacturer's responsibility, then that is an issue for the retailer/distributor and manufacturer to resolve between themselves. It should not be passed back to the dissatisfied customer.

I am not asking for special treatment. I am asking for a reasonable response to what I consider to be a legitimate product-quality complaint.

The central issue is simple:

A newly purchased product should not require the customer to continually purchase replacement components because those components fail after only a few days of normal use.

I would encourage other consumers considering this product to research its durability and the company's response to product-quality complaints before making a purchase.

I am also requesting that Yocan and/or the retailer take responsibility for investigating the reported failure rather than simply directing the customer toward purchasing more replacement parts.
