I had purchased a new car with the same registration plate as my previous car. My email address and mobile number had also remained the same. This completely confused the Trackstar App when I tried to log in. I phoned Trackstar and was very fortunate to speak to Helen who knew immediately what had to be done. Firstly she talked me through, in real time, the updates I had to perform on my iPhone and then she reinstalled my details via her terminal. Everything now works. Thank you Helen for all your help and guidance. Much appreciated.

Had my trackstar for 5 weeks and had to cancel as sold my Motorhome due to poor health .
They refuse any type of refund and keep all the money even though they are no longer providing a service .
Do not purchase unless you are sure to be keeping your vehicle.
I have since had contact from trackstar and they have agreed to help in this matter .
Seemed such a shame as their service was so professional before we had to cancel .

Installed 6 years ago. Has tracked my car after theft and successful recovery. the location never updates! Ive had no response after emailing customer support.
Geofence does not work as ‘my location’ does not update. Only slight bit of hope that this is even working, The theft shows something must be working in the background.
There must be better trackers on the market. Check first.

I have nothing but praise for the Customer Support promoting and assisting TrackStar products. The Service is outstanding, prompt and driven by some amazing people. Since having a TrackStar fitted on my partner’s car there was an issue with Subscription details, Helen from TrackStar solved the problem in just a few minutes, something BMW Mini were unable to address. Thank you Helen, we are very pleased with your help and guidance.

Having just purchased a new car, it was fitted with a TrackStar. My previous vehicle’s TrackStar account was blocking the new subscription, and causing problems. Helen from TrackStar sorted the technical issues immediately, she was extremely helpful - and explained what had happened. I am, again, a very satisfied customer, and TrackStar should be pleased that her professional, calm approach has solved something BMW were unable to explain. Thank you…10/10+

Helen helped me out a few weeks when my old vehicle was written off and needed the old tracker stood down. I had a few issues with the new tracker in our replacement vehicle and Helen contacted me today, she persevered, not happy until she got us back up and running. Absolutely brilliant Service!
Yet again, great service from Trackstar. After repeatedly being bounced around by the dealership, who couldn't or wouldn't get involved with my installer. Trackstar came to the rescue. After a five minute conversation with Eshan all was well and I could get on with enjoying my new motorhome. A big thank you to both Helen and Eshan.
This tracker was installed in a new BMW M3 stopped working after a few days, contact support who say on website that they will contact you within 24 hours. No contact sent a further email no contact. so tried to use Chat to be told no one available.Took the plunge and phoned staff rude and aggressive team leader started shouting at me when she couldnt get her own way. She was full of excuses said they were not interested in theft prevention . Just pure incompetance. They have staff shortages yet their MD Jonathanon Eaves refuses to speak with clients but appears to spend his time in meetings. I am at a loss to undertand what action to take. It is now the weekend when they are n longer open but still not resolved issues. It appears that over 30% of customers are dissatisfied but BMW are not listening . Wake up BMW and listen to your clients.
So I bought a BMW i7 and got them to fit one of there trackers to the car and unfortunately the tracker just doesn’t work properly after two more engineers coming out and fitting a new tracker getting fitted it’s still not functioning properly and the app is no good at all I’m now in the process to get my money back as the product isn’t fit for purpose and BMW and any other dealership that offer this tracker to there customers should stop as this product isn’t any good at all then to top it off one of the engineers broke one of my trims it was the last straw PLEASE DO NOT BUY THIS TRACKER
Ordered the Trackstar with my new M3, this was then installed at the dealership. 3 weeks of ownership and the location has only ever updated once, and that was after a call to customer support who did something their end. Ive had no response after emailing customer support.
Geofence does not work as ‘my location’ does not update. Journey logs are hit and miss, records part of the journey. Only slight bit of hope that this is even working, I took the car out without the fob to test, and I eventually got an alert / call so something must be working in the background.
My recommendation, avoid. If I could get my money back I 100% would. Terrible product.
After having an awful experience with my car showroom I called Trackstar to explain the issues and spoke to the wonderful Helen!! She is a true credit resolved all my issues and made me a very happy customer thank you Helen
It was easy to order and get the tracker installed. The pricing was fair.
