Fair prices and quite fast turn around

I had not heard of this company before it came up on google, after reading the comments on Trust Pilot I thought I would give it a try, I was a little disheartened by the negative comments suggesting scam etc but I appreciated the professional responses from the team explaining why transactions had not gone through. I sent off a Nintendo DS to be sold with a prepaid postage and received the full payment that was advertised today. Took just over a week from posting to receive payment. I would recommend.

I sent off 4 Xbox controllers that had light scratches and dust on it and they said it was damaged. The original price was £46 and they told me it’s worth £1.22 and to pay £15 postage never use this website

if you would like to sell your old tech and you want to quickly turn them into cash, you can trust them. they even pay for postage, and their price is very competitive. also, they buy things that lots of other websites don't.

Very unhappy with the service i received. Sent my stuff off and didnt get so much as an email to say it had arrived or even been sent so had to chase them as it felt like a scam. Ended up waiting over 2 weeks for them to come back to me with a “revaluation” saying PS has scratches on the bottom and the pad rattles which is untrue. Said all game box’s are damaged and some games had deep scratched, but I tested all games before sending them. Claimed my basically unused VR equipment was not in good condition so they could offer me a fraction of the price. And now want to charge me £15 to send items back.
Feels like this is how they make money, once they have your items they “revalue” everything below what you were hoping for. Gutted I never just went to CEX!

Everything you have said in your reply is false!!! The equipment was barely used and I tested everything b4 sending it off, even had a go of some of the older games for nostalgic reasons. And as anyone with OCD will be able to relate to, I am meticulous over putting disks back in correct box etc so absolutely no disks are cracked!!! The only thing you are even close on is the headphones and again it was barely used only the leather its made of looked old over time it may have been cracked just because of the cheap material its made out of but certainly not peeling. The comment about staff not wanting to wear the VR headset is hilarious as it genuinely could have passed for new.

I was offered £35 for my Samsung Galaxy A7 Lite tablet, which seemed fairly generous in comparison to a couple of other websites. However, the value was swiftly reduced after sending it to TIFC. The condition was excellent, as it had only been used a handful of times and kept in a protective case the whole time. I received a message around a week after it was delivered to them with a revaluation of £23 - which equates to a 34% reduction!

The reasons given were two very light hairline scratches on the screen, which were only visible holding it under a magnifying glass or a strong light. I certainly didn't pick up on them prior to sending the item, therefore, I cannot say for sure if they were definitely present or not. Also, a small mark on the back cover, which I admit went unnoticed due to the protective case. I supplied a Samsung USB cable, as I couldn't locate an actual plug charger, and let's be honest, the valuation is surely based upon the electronic device, as any charger can be added for a nominal amount.

In view this was a 'used' tablet, which I felt met their required 'very good' condition, it seemed a little harsh to deduct quite a sizable amount from the overall value. From my personal experience alone, it appears the item needed to be in absolute mint/perfect condition, like new, in order to meet their standard requirement (reflected as very good). Otherwise, their initial offer will be adjusted accordingly... which seems unrealistic in the real world.

I have read similar reviews by other users, along with positive reviews where the full amount was paid. My assumption is that you need to provide everything required in a near perfect condition, despite being second hand of course. I would recommend photographing your goods prior to sending, in case of any discrepancies further down the line. This may give you a better chance of a more fulfilling experience...

Easy to send (my package was collected from my house), quick review of items and fast payment

In my experience I would advise anyone to go elsewhere.
First - I took 15 days to receive a response after myself having to contact them.
Secondly - the customer service person, don’t know who the individual was as they don’t own their name to any of my responses - was aggressive, rude and abrupt simply because I asked for them to return my item. I paid the postage to send it to them but when asked to return it for the same price they trebled the postage stating and then followed up by saying “did you genuinely believe we would pay the full price”. I honestly believed I sent the correct item and was made out to be a liar by this individual…..they then apply pressure to you by saying your item can take up to 20 days to be returned….. in the end to avoid treble postage which devalued my item even further I accepted their lower offer….
Tradeinforcash should seek out this person and possibly send them on a customer service course- disappointed

Great service selling PS5 games, paid out quickly as expected without any issues or changes to the valuation.

So I recently traded in my Meta Quest 3. Despite sending this in on the 29th it didn't get processed fully until today despite being told it would be processed on the 6th.

You're able to message them via their website though and they're very quick in responding and they seemed to prioritise my order when letting them know that it seemed to be taking longer than usual.

I sent my order like new as it hadn't been used more than a handful of times however they did reevaluate my order to say it was showing signs of use. This was only a £15 reduction so despite being disappointed it didn't pass the initial check it was still worth accepting.

If they had processed this a little quicker and with more communication with what's going on with it I would give 5 star however I just feel like it took longer than usual with little to no communication until I messaged myself chasing.

I got the best quote for my old consoles and games, everything was very straight forward.

Sent off a very good condition iPod, even took photos before I sent it as evidence. Sent in original casing too. They messaged back saying it was all scratched and had a big dent!

Used this website for the first time to sell my Nintendo Wii. Process was very straightforward with clear instructions. Collection was free and it only took a few weeks before I received payment. Would be happy to use this company again
