Not a scam, a very helpful site to book Abela elite sleeper train!
At first was highly concerned this was a scam as the website was so nice and new but it wasn’t referred to on Seat61 or any blogs. Rest assured it’s a real company that really purchases you the sleep train tickets for Abela Elite class sleeper trains in Egypt. The Abela booking site has issues when you try to pay as a foreigner but this site let me do it easily and have access to English speaking customer support. My dad took the train 82 from Cairo to Luxor. The ticket comes via email and the email plus passport is what he used at the station to show the Ticketmaster. James in customer support was very helpful when we had an issue to rectify. This site is cheaper than using bookaway and the wording and photos directly align to the train product you’re purchasing (book away was confusing to tell if you were getting Abela Elite class the newest sleeper train). Note that it’s Abela not Trains Egypt that assigns you the top or bottom berth if you book a single ticket (you can’t request it). Odd is bottom, even is top. If the train is full and you book single you may be in top sharing with another same gender and they also split foreigner and local carriages. If the train isn’t full - like for my dad - he got the lower berth and no one else in the cabin. They only fill single cabins if the train is full. They also first only had the 19:30 departure and closer to the time put on the 21:50 departure for more availability so if the train you want looks full, contact Trains Egypt to see if trains already sold out of it they perhaps haven released more tickets. Highly recommend this site to book for Abela!! My dad said the train itself was good - it rocks a lot but it’s Egypt - and the cabin attendant spoke English, it was small but comfortable. The Bashtil station is super new and fancy plus easier to get to than the airport traffic. A great way to travel out or to Cairo.
