I booked return flight tickets through this company because their advertised fare was lower than that offered by other travel agents. However, after completing my booking, I received a call from a customer service representative informing me that the reservation had not been confirmed because the ticket price had increased during the booking process. I was told that I would need to pay an additional £70 to secure the booking.

As I was able to find better fares elsewhere, I declined to pay the additional amount and instead requested to cancel the booking. I was then informed that cancelling the unconfirmed booking would incur a cancellation fee of £120.

I find this practice unacceptable and highly misleading. Charging a significant cancellation fee for a booking that was never confirmed is unreasonable and reflects poorly on the company's customer service. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this service and would advise others to exercise caution before booking flights through this website.

They will falsely advertise a flight (Slightly cheaper) then immediately demand an extra payment and blame it on the airline, which is a lie. Then withhold your booking until you pay. This is a high pressure scam tactic and all of their companies need to be shut down for mal practice

When it comes to travel use a reputable site… it isn’t worth the stress. I do not want any refund only for this company to close its doors. I am making a complaint to CAA also as this happens to countless people clearly!

Lastly, as a ‘legitimate’ agency you should take customer complaints seriously. And not get sh*tty with them! It Wasn’t exactly a cheap flight that was purchased

They deducted the flight fee and did not provide a confirmation email. When I escalated they asked me to provide a confirmation email. Still chasing for a refund. Avoid if you want to protect your money and sanity!!

i did online booking for 4 travellers and made the full payments - I was asked to contact the company which I did and was told that one passengers fair has gone up and need to pay extra which i objected to and eventually they honoured the booking and issued confirmation. The officer I spoke to was very understanding and supportive which helped to resolve the issue to my full satisfaction.

A British Airways booking was made through Traveasy, I was downgraded from Premium economy to Economy and the responsibility for progressing the refund lies with the Travel Agent, not BA. After 5 months of chasing this with Traveasy they are still refusing to do anything. I believe that they made the claim (acknowledged by BA) and pocketed the compensation themselves. I cannot recommend anything about this company.

But for the Traveasy, You have to improve the ticket pdf, because you gave me the ticket pdf where the PNR number is mentioned wrong.

The way Traveasy operates is, unfortunately, typical of too many flight brokers in this part of the market. They advertise an extremely attractive fare on comparison sites such as Google Flights and then, after you book, attempt to obtain additional payment before issuing the tickets.

In my case, I booked return economy flights for two to Montreal at approximately £1,350, which was around £100 cheaper than the next best option elsewhere. Rather than receiving a booking confirmation, I received several phone calls about 30 minutes later.

When I answered, I was told that, because it was a "live system", the return flight had increased in price and that I would need to pay an additional £200. Having experienced similar tactics from other flight brokers before, and knowing the market price of the flights, I challenged this. After a lengthy discussion, the additional charge was reduced from £200 to £80, which I reluctantly agreed to pay. Only then were the tickets issued.

The irony is that, even after paying the extra £80, the overall price was still competitive and represented a worthwhile saving compared with booking directly with the airline. The issue wasn't ultimately the final price—it was the sales process.

What concerns me most is that the initial request was for an additional £200, despite the transaction eventually completing with an £80 increase. That inevitably raises questions about whether the higher figure was simply an attempt to extract as much additional money as possible from customers who were less informed, under time pressure or unwilling to challenge it.

Overall, the final fare represented decent value, which is why I've given two stars rather than one. However, the booking process felt unnecessarily stressful, time-consuming and lacking in transparency. If you're prepared to negotiate and already know the true market price, you may still secure a competitive deal. If you're looking for a straightforward, transparent booking experience where the advertised price is the price you pay, I'd look elsewhere.

Unfortunately I can confirm most of negative comments here are true and I fall for the price trap. Just manage to somehow get my full refund back after number of escalations. If anyone progressing with booking flight ticket with them, be mindful of
- Surprise price hike or your payment getting blocked
- Be handy with Card Dispute form/ initiating chargeback with your bank immediately
- Registering with IAATA contact-support

Good pricing. Tried to block my ticket after paying on the premise of the last fare sold out and out system takes time. Spoke to Simran who managed to sort it for us.

The agent who dealt with me is called prince! No professionalism, full of lies. i am unfit to fly and they have made my medical condition so much worse so much stress! no empathy for my health, no solution! they just litrally take ur money and tell you to do one! PLEASE REFRAIN from booking unless you want to be in loss like me. they lure u in with cheap tickets but u end up paying a heafty price with ur mental health. WORSE COMPANY EVER!!!!!

Easy process and best prices in the market !

While I made it to my destination. This wasn't made easy by the company. Wrong booking reference supplied, took weeks to get the correct reference. Also when I asked about baggage I was told it was £200 extra each way. I paid £80 for both ways on the day through the airline. Where did that extra £320 come from? The stress of trying to make sure I actually had a flight booked was not what I signed up for.

I booked with Traveasy because the price looked competitive, but the experience quickly became stressful and misleading.

The website put me under pressure to complete the booking with a 15-minute countdown timer, creating the impression that I would lose the ticket if I did not pay immediately. At the point of purchase, the only clear warning I saw was “0kg baggage”, which did not properly explain the full set of restrictions attached to the fare.

Only after booking was I told that the ticket was actually a highly restricted Basic Economy fare with no carry-on baggage, no advance seat selection and limited ability to add baggage or other services later. If those material restrictions had been made clear upfront, I would not have booked.

When I then asked them not to issue the ticket and to refund me, I was told I could either pay more to upgrade or cancel and be charged an administration fee of £50 per passenger. That felt unreasonable given that the problem arose because the fare restrictions were not transparently presented before purchase.

I was also sent a payment link that I was not comfortable using, which added to the concern.

Overall, the process felt pressurised, unclear and unnecessarily difficult once I tried to resolve the issue. I would strongly recommend that anyone booking with Traveasy check every fare condition in detail before paying, and if possible compare carefully with booking direct with the airline.

booked online but I was told the live price is high so pay 71 euro fare difference. I refused and asked to issue me ticket or refund. then they say there is 75 euro cancellation charges. i told them I don't wanna cancel they said then pay the difference.
so i had to pay the difference. stay away from them they let you book and then asking for extra amount.
