After experiencing an error/ issue with the site, I spoke with Diego several times in reference. He took the time to listen to the issue to review the issue and ask me for a detailed response on what was going on shortly after the issue was resolved. Diego was professional, caring, and courteous.

The interface is user-friendly, making it easy to find and book a car in minutes. The vehicles were clean and well-maintained, and the flexibility of pick-up and drop-off locations is a major plus. First class customer support !

I rented a car through Trip City and had a great experience from start to finish. The process was incredibly easy, the vehicle was in excellent condition, and the customer service was super helpful and responsive. ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE!!! The owner (JOSH of IdriveLLC), of this car is a scam artist! The car was trashed and in horrible condition when I picked it up. I called him and he said it was the only one he had and said he "wiped it down". It was damaged and covered in filth inside and out! My ride left so I had to take the car and he gave me a $5 discount, as if that was enough. I have pics to prove this AND text messages askin him if he got this car from a junk yard, and why was it so trashed? It was horrible and it also ran rough. The car battery died on me twice at the end of the rental time and he was informed. He wanted me to take it to a shop and have it fixed after I told him I was in the middle of moving. Paying $500 a week for your busted car and you want me to be your lacky too?! I could not bring the car back due to the battery dying on me twice, nor could I wipe it down before he had it towed. He then proceeded to charge me $100 for a clean up fee when it was discusting when I got it, and told me the car was trashed and I told him it was trashed and dirty when I got it. He also charged me $250 for a reposession fee because his busted vehicle needed to be towed which was out of my control cuz the car would not start due to the bad battery! I had a fender bender a week or so before that and it was not my fault. He made ME file the claim, and then proceeded to charge me $500 for damage. So he thinks he's gonna rob ME AND get paid by the insurance company too?! What a scam artist and JERK! Not getting a cent more from me after you scammed me enough already! DO NOT rent from this guy! If you want to keep customers TripCity, I would recommend getting rid of this scam artist before you get sued. O_o

The worst app ever they have No protection for the people renting the cars!! they allow the owners to do whatever they want give bad cars or false information you file a complaint and all they ever say is well it’s all up to the owners they need to be shut down ! I will be taking it further and reporting to the BBB !!

This company is a complete scam! They used my address for a rental and now I have random people coming to my door angry threatening to shoot my house up if they don't get the money back. TripCity is protecting the scammers and won't remove my address despite several 911 calls from both me and the people getting scammed. They won't refund the renters either! What a nightmare! Stay away at all costs!

A vehicle i had rented for the first time using the site was broken into while i was in the house asleep. I woke the next day seen the damage done to the rental immediately made police report , spoke with the owner and everything he tried to have me pay for a tow to get the vehicle to him eventually he paid for one himself but goes on to charge me a $99 late fee for vehicle that he knew couldn’t move . I have tried to reach out to tripcity and the owner but tripcity just keeps suggesting I keep trying to contact the owner to get it removed even though I stated he is ignoring my messages they have still done nothing this was over 3-4 weeks ago .

I've used trip City multiple times and when I had an issue with somebody I rented from I contacted troop City on their number and email I got prompt responses and the situation was handled same day immediately

An owner scammed me by having an associate call me to arrange pick up of a car , they took my money and when I arrived to get the car I was not in the system. I called and messaged immediately afterwards with no answer. I’ve filed an official complaint with TripCity who I believe is liable but I haven’t received an update or a refund which I believe I’m entitled to, DO NOT TENT FROM AMINAH ADAMS. TripCity still has her cars listed on the website.

Trip city would have to be one of the best gig rental platforms I've ever used. Tony was a great customer service rep. Help me with any issues I had expeditiously as well as the other gentlemen representative. I give Tony a 10 as far as customer service goes! I'd recommend renting from this platform.

The company was very rude through text messages for know apparent reason then told me to try zipcar because they only do long term rentals but the app clearly says you can rent by the day with the option to extend when I asked why they was false advertising if you cannot rent by the day only long-term. I was told they do not have to explain how they run their business. This is really sad customer service has really changed people no longer care what they say out there mouth they have know professionalism anymore

If I could give zero I would as well I've try running in a car three times from them I had to cancel each time because the owner never respond back over an hour I reached out to trip City they tell me the only way they can contact the owners through the platform through email literally waited 2 hours and no one's approved my rental however they took my money so I have to keep canceling it how is it this platform is taking people money and still haven't been able to contact the owners verbally

Checking the reviews, it seems like TripCity is good or bad depending on who's hosting the cars on their platform. If you get a good host, your experience will be good. If you get a bad host, your experience will be bad.

My host was good to me and nice so I didn't have a bad experience.

If I could give zero stars I would. This is my first time and probably last time. First I search for a car. Then I find one and book it. Takes my money then tells me I have to be approved by owner. Owner takes over an hour to get back to me and tells me the vehicle is not available. Why is this app taking money from a booking that isn't even available. No customer service available in chat or the phone but the automated system says I have to wait for a day for a refund. That is unacceptable and false advertising and as far as I'm concerned that's robbing me. I borrowed the money for this vehicle and not only am I not gonna make any money but I have to wait to return the money I borrowed. The vehicle owner tried to write up something in some notes that doesn't even show in the ad and tried to screenshot it. Shady business. Shady app. I will never recommend anyone use this misleading website and I will discourage anyone else from using it either. Negative stars for these liars
