1. Speed: Slow

I have been advice by EQbank that uses Trulioo as a outsourced KYC provider that it takes up to 3 business days to process said verification

Same ID/Selfie verification process elsewhere take a day at best but mostly under an hour or even minutes

2. Ignores Government Guidelines

Refuses Government ID that is listed as acceptable by Financial Consumer Agency of Canada in relation to opening bank account and insist on selected types they like

- Businesses that uses Trulioo is doing their customer a disservice when there is plenty of other reliable provider in this sector

A very frustrating experience. They only provide room for uploading two documents. Their driver licence and photo capture technology did not work.

This company carried out an ID check on my Experian credit file without my knowledge or consent. I have email evidence linking the search to them, yet they initially denied involvement. Pushing further, I’ve asked for confirmation of which client instructed the check, but so far, I’ve only been able to communicate with them via telephone, as they claim they’re not receiving my emails-despite my email system confirming successful delivery.

I’m awaiting a proper explanation and will update this review once they clarify who authorised the search.
