Does not work. Even with scan document and face picture in daylight.
Garbage verification system.

Not even worth of one star, this verification doesn’t know how to verify documents correctly. Failure rate is high.

Totally useless. I have great light, a very good webcam and no reflection but it could not generate a valid image. No option to upload high resolution scans in jpg or pdf format. A complete waste of time.

Not much to say, their software just doesn't work at all.

I failed the selfie about 20 times. Bad News for sure and you'd run a mile from companies using it.

The worst. If you are a vendor thinking of using Jumio to verify customers--RUN! It doesn't work but it is much worse than that for your business. It turns potential customers (or current customers) into angry people. "Move your face closer, center your face, hold still, hold still, hold still. Tried on multiple devices, multiple sites, multiple days and ended up leaving a casino 1 star when it was Jumio's fault the whole time.

Affirm use Jumio if your account is hacked and they need to re-verify your identity however I have uploaded my ID and face three times and it keeps saying it’s unable to verify my ID.
I’ve done the exact same verification through the DMV and DOJ using their systems and my ID and face were verified perfectly.
Whatever algorithm jumio uses sucks bad.

Zero stars is more appropriate. Broken and nobody cares.

I've struggled with skrill identity verification for over 4 months now jumio doesn't allow me to upload the back side of my ID and skrill is always rejecting my ID the reason being "the back side of your ID missing" this jumio is Horrible

Shame I can’t give 0 stars. Forced to use this “service” but it just does not work. No indication at all that it’s doing anything or just hanging. I have tried and retried over several days. It’s so bad that I just won’t in future use any service or company that uses Jumio

Jumio ist voellig ungeeignet - die Bediener sind weder in der Lage nach 10 sec stillhalten ein Foto aufzunehmen und wiederholte Male nicht in der Lage dieses Bild das scharf und gut lesbar ist zu pruefen.
Hoffentlich gibt es dort eine Ueberpruefung und eine entsprechende Reaktion fuer die Mitarbeiter - ich bin schwer empoert und nichtveinverstanden mit dieser unzuverlaessigen Art der Ueberpruefung und Online-Gaengelung - dann doch lieber zum ungeliebten Amt -dort wird wenigstens zuverlaessig ausgewertet.

I’ve been trying to complete a simple identity verification through Jumio for weeks, and it has been nothing but a nightmare.

I submitted multiple clear images of my government-issued ID.

Took perfect selfies, including one holding my ID, per their instructions.

Was told repeatedly by the company using Jumio (Zula Casino) that my documents were “blurry” – despite being crystal clear.

I even got as far as submitting bank information in a system that claimed everything was complete, only to be told later that it all failed due to a "technical issue."

No one from Jumio has responded to my inquiries about:

Why my verification keeps failing.

How they are protecting my personal and biometric data (which they now have).

What they are doing with all the sensitive information they collect from thousands of people.

Reading the reviews here, it's clear I'm not alone. This company has been pulling the same thing for years, and it’s disturbing how many people have gone through the same cycle:

Get told it’s unreadable.

Submit again.

Still no help.

Meanwhile, Jumio keeps all your data.

⚠️ Everyone should be reporting Jumio to the FTC, Better Business Bureau, or Data Protection authorities in your country. This isn’t just bad service—it’s potentially a major data privacy issue. Who knows what they are doing with all this sensitive information?

Avoid Jumio at all costs. If a company uses them, think twice.

Very sketchy. I was forced to use this service by a shareholder services company, and even after I sent my face and a picture of my Driver's License, I couldn't get the process to complete. But they still have my DL and face! I sent an email to privacyATjumio.com and I'll check back if they respond with confirmation.
