Upon finding typeset.com while looking for helpful AI tools, I thought I had stumbled across a gem! I confidently paid for a $39 monthly subscription and was surprisingly billed for $372. The website boasted about its 30 day money back guarantee - no questions asked, and I now know that the "no questions asked" essentially means that the customer may not ask any questions! The site has no way for you to communicate with a human, you get sent into a labyrinth of redirecting chats that never lead to resolving your problem. And if you search for the word REFUND, you get an illustration of a woman on her knees with a magnifying glass looking at "nothing". Ironically, this image represents their level of customer support! I feel like this is a company that wants a one way relationship...Pay us, and go into the hell we created for you.

Typeset is a very powerful tool for producing a wide variety of documents. It is easy to use and get started.

Had an issue with the sign up and confusion about the billing. Customer service was prompt and pleasant. Resolved the issue completely and went above and beyond what I asked for.

I like it however it doesn't work the way you would think it would with all the hype. I have to go in and create each individual slide one by one with AI suggestions so its not as fast as the ads suggest. Same thing for posts. It does do the convert to images or presentation pretty well for different sizes.

I really like the ease of use about parts of it, but it increasingly seems glitchier and more difficult than it did when I purchased it In-Full a few months ago. I would really like to see more tutorials on it, as well as troubleshooting videos. I'd even pay to opt-in to a live course or training, to really see what this baby is capable of!! There's a few video on YT popping up slowly, but it's still slim pickings.

I think is awesome to have a tool that changes things on the fly.

Typeset is quick and easy to use. It may not have the range of Canva, but for quick and professional formatting, personalised by images and research I upload, it saves so much time. I use it for many different reasons. I easily create E Books, Training and Decks, NDIS neurocognitive, neuro biological and neurodevelopmental therapy training and support staff guidelines, Personalised AI support plans for disability clients. It brings to life key points, with video links for a deeper dive. It streamlines the process. I have many roles, with over 80 decks quickly done for a variety of audiences, I am very happy to continue with Typeset. And yes, the customer service is fantastic, they answered a question I had quickly and transparently.

If you notice majority of the positive reviews, are only speaking about the customer service. Not the actual product. I really wanted to love this software but my expectations were based upon the advert from Brain Moran. In the advert, he specifically mentions that this is the program that people are using to create reels, graphics, social media posts etc. It is also supposed to be able to do these layouts within seconds. However, this program does not have those capabilities. You are not able to create reels and graphics as stated. The program does not offer that, as per customer service. Brian also states that this program is like cross btw Canva + Chatgpt. This is not correct. The only thing you are able to do is work with the extremely limited templates, or create a layout yourself with very limited options. This program functions more like an updated MS Word. If you already have a document that is formatted, you can place with in the editor and a layout will appear. However, you will spend plenty of time fixing and correcting. Plenty of times what you see within the editor does not match with the visual pane. The help/support area is another limitation. It is incomplete. Basic questions like, "how to zoom on a page," is not in there handbook. When you speak with customer service, they always tell you that they will bring it up with the rest of the support team. They seem to be creating the support manual as they go along. I am a graphic designer. I was extremely surprised to see how limited the program is. If the program as an updated MS Word, then the expectation would have been completely different. Do not get this product if you are looking for a Canva or Kittl replacement. You will not be happy. If you have limited design skills and only need to create a deck, then it will be perfect for you. I do like the editor/visual side-by-side layout. But the marketing is very deceiving and inappropriate. It takes much longer to complete a project than specified. Prepare to spend ample time on corrections. I have uploaded several projects. Because they are partially done, I will keep the program until they are completed.

I reached out to the support team over an issue on billing and I received immediate assistance. Larry was fast with his response, professional with his wording, and helpful as he dug into my problem and resolved it. If not for Larry I probably would have given up on joining altogether.

Typeset is just the best! The platform continues to get better and better. I am a founding member and it makes my job as a Marketer so much easier. Typeset is going places and if you are an entrepreneur or a small or local business owner, you will not regret signing up. It will save you ton of time! Stop reading the reviews and just sign up already 😂 and no, they did not pay me to say that, I am a real customer. #typesetforthewin
