Really easy quick process - happy with price given apple was offering recycling only

Sent my iPhone 13, I marked as poor condition as I had a non Apple battery fitted and there were three small scratches on the screen. They offered ‘up to’ £150 at that point. I sent the phone and they dropped the offer to £15! They said the screen was fake (it was the screen from new), the battery (which I knew about) and they said the phone body showed heavy signs of wear (it had always been in a drop proof case, so how is that possible. I asked for the phone back. They offered £25. I rejected, they asked me what the least I would accept was. I said £80. They refused and offered £50. At this point I could be bothered with any more hassle, so I accepted. If they can more than double their original offer, they are clearly trying their luck and I’m still not happy with their final offer. I have told them I will never use them again. I’ve sold every phone I’ve ever had and always had solid, fair offers and no hassle. This was a nightmare. Never again. If I could give no stars, I would.

I used the Compare and Recycle site to place an order with Uber Link - offered £355 for a phone in POOR condition.

They receive the phone and offer me £130 - explaining to Compare and Recycle some rubbish about the screen and housing needing to be replaced. Such a shame we can’t post photos on here because that is utter garbage.

Interestingly enough, I’ve just used SellMyPhone to see what came up. Condition options are - NEW, WORKING, BROKEN

Guess who “offer” £345.50 for a BROKEN IPhone 15 Pro Max? Yes, Uber Link. It is the worst condition you can rate the phone at and Uber Link will then offer you over £200 LESS than this website when you send it to them!! 😡😡

Who to blame? These comparison sites or the resellers that tell porky pies about the phone?

Avoid them all like the Plague!!!!

Wow....I would give 0 stars if I could

I placed four orders with Uberlink (94089/94090/94092/94093) and quite frankly it was an abysmal customer experience.

All four were received by Uberlink on the 19/1/2026

They didnt confirm they'd received them until the evening of the 20/1/2026

They then did not process them until the evening of the 21/1/2026 - and guess what? all four of my phones had their prices reduced!

I accepted all but one of the offers to save on the hassle, the one I rejected they kept coming back with higher and higher offers until I finally accepted. Just trying to get your device from you as cheap as possible. One of the orders they reduced the price on they didnt even give me a fault reason, when I emailed asking them why they reduced the price I didn't get a response. I still dont have a response.

After I accepted I got an email to let me know that my orders had been added to the payments queue.

I got another email just after asking me to leave to a 5 star review on Trustpilot and if I did they'd give me an extra £5 on each order.....

It took another two weeks to get paid - I had to chase them up and ask them why I had not been paid yet, their excuse was that they had set my orders to the wrong status - I think they were withholding payment until I'd made that Trustpilot review for the extra £5

All in all it took over 3 weeks from me shipping my phones to getting paid - with lots of hassle in between.

Reduced prices for non existent faults, scammy like emails asking me to leave a review for extra money, taking ages to process my orders and then taking ages to pay me out.

I would avoid like the plague.

I bought a phone via backmarket from this reseller. I had issues with it as it wouldn't recognise any wifi network.

Sent it back no drama and had a prompt reimbursement.

Overall a mixed review from me. Thought I would be getting the original offer I was given however this dropped significantly due to wear and tear. Screen was cracked which I stated but everything else to me was fine - apparently not the case. To save going back and forth I accepted a much lower offer but felt disappointed. What I would say is that the customer service communication was great and once I realised I’d made a mistake on the form, I emailed them and they got back to me quickly advising they had made a change. Also the process of sending etc was efficient and I loved that!

Quick and easy return. The process of the phone inspection and amendment of offer nice and quick.

I received the phone, with a safe delivery, which i am very happy, I have not yet used the phone because used a gift for my ,I hope everything is perfectly OK.

Quick process, initial offer was quite a bit lower than advertised but that always happens with this kind of thing, was happy with second offer.

Very efficient service! The package was delivered within 2 days, my parcel was then collected when I requested and my offer was made 2 days later. Very quick and efficient! Also offered me the most money out of all of the phone buying companies! Thankyou.

I wanted to sell my phone and this was super easy. Once i clicked the make and model of my phone and condition, i was then given the option to have the phone collected, or i could post myself with a QR code. I chose to deliver myself as i could post right away with the QR code. Uberlink are great with constant updates and notifications along the way.

Offered £151 for a fully working, recently serviced iPhone 13 Pro. It had a tiny crack in the front screen so I listed as damaged. They offered £41 saying the “screen is damaged and the paint is chipped” - this is surely the point of me listing as damaged (even though it was the tiniest chip)

Rejected it, they increased to £78, which again is a ludicrous system

Accepted because I don’t have the time to wait for a return and they have the audacity to ask for a good review in exchange for a fiver.

Having read the reviews on here (wish I’d done this sooner) I’ve no hope for actually getting my payment

Amazing! Quick and easy a courier even collected the old phone.
