Nice room but smell in hallway
Nice and clean room but the hallway smelt a bit weird.
Staff were nice and spa was okay - not the best but you get what you pay for.

Great hotels at reasonable prices
I wanted to say a small thank you to Hotels.com for the offers it has had on hotels I booked for my recent holidays to Austria, Thailand and Vietnam. The rates are often very competitive and availability of rooms is also very good. For a company of its size, it maintains a rather boutique feel to the way bookings and rewards are handled and I must admit it is slowly taking over Booking.com as my go to for hotels, which has gone pretty downhill in recent years as far as value for money is concerned. I've also never had a single issue with bookings and check-ins.

the room was musty
the room was musty, no guidelines on how to access wifi, carpark full of potholes, general air of lack of maintenance. coffee to breakfast undrinkable. Staff pleasant and helpful.

Unsatisfactory outcome
When completing a payment the web site warned there had been a problem and that I should try again. I did and ended up with a double booking. Despite many communications and live discussions I have not achieved a refund or the ability to book a different hotel for a one night stay. Very poor customer service and no solution other than to lose my money.
