I first purchased a Tilly in 1995
I first purchased a Tilly in 1995, yes 1995 and it had lasted through 4 continents, many countries until eventually it looked more than 'vintage'. With my desire to purchase a new one, not replacement! Afterall, what could ever replace my first ? So I went online and ordered a T3-Natural. Promptly arrived, well packaged, and slipped in on my head. Bugga! I had ordered the same size as previous but either my head had shrunk ( borneo 97') or the sizing had altered? Either way, it was returned and even more prompt a smaller size despatched. Now, once again a very proud custodian of a T3-'Natural' of course! No other head attire comes near the quality and 'explorer chic' than a Tilly

The Classic T5
This hat was purchased as a 90th birthday gift for a favourite uncle. The order was processed with speed and efficiency, delivery took a matter of days and it arrived beautifully boxed and presented in typical Tilley style. A first class service from start to finish. Thank you.

Poor delivery
I could have had the Tilley hat I have on order delivered next day if I'd bought it from a third-party retailer, but I foolishly decided to buy it direct from Tilley as the 'proper' thing to do. How wrong I was.
Expecting a deliver within a day or so for a trip I was making, I phoned Tilley after a week had passed to be told, in a somewhat disinterested fashion, that 10 working days not unusual. It's now more than two weeks on, but fingers crossed delivery anticipated 17 days after ordering. Not good enough Tilley.
With Amazon and most other Tilley retailers all promising delivery the next day or so, it seems amazing that the company themselves lag so far behind in getting their head ware to their customers.
From my personal experience, I will never buy direct from Tilley again.

A hat to last
Excellent hats. Unfortunately, I lost my Tilley hat during my last adventure abroad. Even though the price is a bit steep for the Bulgarian reality, there wasn't a hint of doubt that I was ordering a new one the moment I got back.
