Great hat
The delivery was as planned , and the hat sits perfectly on my head! Also getting lots of comments about the hat …. The fact that it is Bright Green is a real fun colour and talking point while it makes the golfer in me actually look like a golfer !!!

Fabulous hat and the customer service is 5* the hat is very comfortable and if it gets a bit windy the cord can keep it in place! Quite a few comments asking where I got it from!

Really happy with Tilley UK
Really happy with my recent Tilley UK experience. Had my T3 for about 25 years, but on the last wash the material started to come apart. Was about to buy a new hat when I remembered (it was 25 years!) the Lifetime Warranty. On 3 June I filled in the online claim form. Within 24 hours got a response and went through a few steps to prove my entitlement etc with photos. Note you don't need the original receipt, which is just as well. I took off a star (wait) because the handling fee was £20 which is a significant chunk of a new hat. However, I was pleasantly surprised to find I could choose the replacement model with an item that didn't exist 25 years ago. Added that star back on. On the 6th June I got my replacement confirmation and received it on the 14th. Overall very happy.

We already have a Tilley hat each that we’ve had for about 10 years but I wanted to try a different style, the new ones appear just as good quality as the old ones and the fit is also good.
I found the website a bit confusing but found what we wanted eventually, delivery was quite good, overall very happy customer.
Tilley UK Fail to Deliver
Placed an order 10 days ago, still no Hat, no dispatch advice, no nothing.
You can only contact Tilley UK online, Their emails and web chat are AI bots, not customer service personnel, which give no meaningful reply apart from saying we are busy at the present time.
The hat should have been delivered with a free gift of cooling insert, but they were able to email me to say that they had run out of the free gifts.
I have ordered the same Tilley hat from a high street retailer and it is being delivered today, less than 24 hours since I placed the order.
I have tried to cancel the order, but it would appear that it may still be delivered and I will have to send it back before I get a refund.
In short, Tilley may make good hats but their customer service is none existent. Buy their products from a High Street retailer or Amazon. Do not buy direct, you will be disappointed.

TILLY MESSED UP EVERYTHING FOR ME.
You totally messed up not fully refunding me for the returned hat.
You also didnt have the free gift in stock in the UK that i wanted which is ridiculous.
I ended up with 3 hat sizers totally useless.
Tilly lie about there contact number i made in excess of 265 calls to the supposed customer service number which you get stupid recorded messages every single time and then they told me we are busy, Absolutley rubbish.
Ive carried on trying a further 42 times the same message every time.
So you want peoples money, You tried to dupe me with a refund short by £4. Then you make excuses. Then you didnt answer 6 e mails i sent to yourselves and i had the return message sayiong you would reply.
You just refunded the £4 without telling me.
The worst experience ive ever encountered with an online retailer.
Your a disgrace the attitude you took was not acceptable all the excuses a load of twoddle.
You will be luck if i ever reccomend Tilly hats to anyone at all and its pretty unlikely that i will ever purchase anything else from such a bably organised company with a customer service which is near usless .
The whole purchase was a nightmare .
I asked many questions about sizes and you gave vague answers like you wernt interested at all in the end i ordered 2 x hats and sent the smaller back and you messed that up.
All in all 1 star and you really dont deserve that at all.

Lifetime warranties are false
My Tilley Hat wore away in the front by simply creasing when being worn leaving eventually a gaping hole. Looking inside I was reminded about the 'Lifetime Warranty'. Going through the long warranty process I had to pay over €35 to get my 'under warrant' product. 50% of the normal cost. Lifetime warranties are false.

If I could give this company zero stars I would. I ordered a variety of stuff from them including 2 hats for my honeymoon in Norway. Order was confirmed, money was taken on the 17th May then nothing since. I’ve used their chat facility, emailed and called and they don’t answer anything. The worst customer service experience I have experienced. I am now starting to think this company is a scam. Avoid like the plague

Currently at 12 working days since placing an online order and it has still not been dispatched.
I contacted customer services on the 10th working day (they state 7-10 working days for dispatch) asking when my order will be dispatched, but I have still not had a response.
A £150 order with no correspondence about a dispatch date is unacceptable, especially when it falls outside the specified dispatch lead time.
It is also unacceptable for marketing to send 18 emails since I placed my order with offers and online sales.
Perhaps Tilley should spend more time & resource on dispatching orders in a timely manner and responding to customer enquiries, and less time on emailing offers every day.

A dreadful company to deal with avoid and find another supplier for your hat. Awful communication and delaying things so they can charge instead of solving problems and making returns difficult, You can buy your hat from a better supplier.
Lifetime warranty? It's true!
I owned a Tilley T5 model hat for 22 years. It went with me to more than 20 countries and was one of the best items of travel equipment I owned.
It went through a lot in those 22 years from being lost and found in the Peak District in England, blown into and recovered from a river in Thailand and helping to scoop up water to douse a small car fire in Australia.
When it finally became a bit torn and threadbare, Tilley lived up to its promise of a lifetime warranty and replaced it quickly without fuss.
My new Tilley is, as expected, an excellent hat.
Cannot return or exchange new unused hat.
I purchased my original Tilley hat in the US. It has lasted decades and now that I'm in the UK I purchased another hat. It's too large and I'd like to exchange it. There does not seem to be a simple straight forward means of returning or exchanging a new unused hat. There is no phone number and the AI chat is very limited. This customer support is not remotely serve or support their customers. At this time I cannot advocate for Tilley.
