Speedy delivery, handling of a return could have been better but I suspect volume of sales were the issue.

The TW7 hat is of superb quality!

Great web site, and this is the second time in 2 months that I have purchased a hat, so fully able to select the piece of kit, size, colour and style i required. Good time scale and very happy both times.

Catalogue was clear and in order. The hats were not scattered on the page with different colours taking separate pages. Find the hat, check the size and find your colour. Add to basket add discount code if you have one then pay. Simples

Having owned an original Hemp hat I wanted something more weatherproof. Bought an all weather TWS1 in black for work (Postman at Royal Mail) and it was wet through in no time. So much for DWP. Several hours soaked with a headache in cold wintery weather.
Gave it 3 coats of Fabsil Gold spray and its now completely waterproof. I get comments of looking like a cowboy, but it does the job brilliantly. Warm, dry and comfortable. Drawstring stops it blowing off in windy weather. Shame Royal Mail doesn't have one commissioned. With the spray, water just beads off.

Love my new wide brim hat, replaces my old hat that I had for over 10 years.

I have owned my Tilley hat for around 6 years, a small hole appeard just above the rim, although it has a lifetime guarantee I wasn't sure if it would be honoured.
I contacted customer services and was amazed at how easy & fast it was to complete the claim form and receive my replacement hat.

So sad. I bought the hat with a lifetime warranty from the original company. It's since been bought and sold twice, and it shows. A friend asked about my hat, because I'd travel about it before, and this is what I wrote - "Morning! I've got a Tilley, which has a lifetime warranty. Expensive at £70 but I've already claimed my warranty once and it's a life goal to claim at least twice more (every 15 years). The replacement is notably lower quality though, for example the brim edging went floppy really quickly. I, of course, bought some hat wire and opened the seam and it's okay again, but sadly I would not recommend any more. The original had more detail of higher quality, the replacement has material fraying around one of the (thinner) brass eyelets after only a year." I will add that they honoured the warranty quickly and with no squibbles, it's just a much cheaper hat.

Although the order took a while to arrive, luckily I had allowed enough time for it to arrive for my husband’s birthday.

The hat was a great success. Not only did it fit (he has a notoriously big head) so the measuring guide worked, but it also looks really good too.

I have not given him the other items yet as am saving them for Christmas!

My Tilley hat was worn out and looking very shabby. The process for replacing it under the lifetime guarantee was straightforward. Clarisse was very helpful, with quick responses. The admin charge seemed quite high, but worth paying compared to the cost of a new hat.

I was disappointed that Brexit induced an unexpected Customs charge

I have reached out to their customer service team several times since the end of September with a simple request for size measurements on a garment.

What should be basic help and guidance readily available on each garment on the website, has instead been an ongoing issue where no resolution is in sight.

5 weeks, or 40 days, to seek advice for garment size measurements is appalling, regardless how far it has to go through the chain. Given the fact that I raised my concerns that I was being forgotton about, someone should've taken ownership given I had raised this several times, but it seems I'm not valued as a customer.

I will not recommend Tilley any further, given I have been a huge advocate in the past.

The products are great, the only issue I have is that delivery time can on occasion be significant, which in this day and age is hard to understand why?

Excellent customer service. Always quick to answer my emails. This time also faster delivery - not that I mind if it takes s bit longer, as long as I know, which i will do as emails regarding delivery are always replied to fast!

Tilley is more than hats. Love the apparels too. Quality made to last.
