Goods were as described and perform well, as I'd expect from a firm with this reputation. Delivery was not quite as quick as I'd hoped, but perhaps I'm just impatient.

Good customer service, the lifetime guarantee on my Tilley came in useful, within a couple of weeks I had my replacement, brilliant service.

Very quick response to emails and an excellent service.

Quality, care and Understanding

Bought a tilly hat years ago, so long ago I carn't remember what year! At least 9 years, wife washed it, and it perished at the front. Contacted tilly, and with no quibble, they asked for picture, and stood by there 'guarantee for life'.
Replaced hat, minus postage.
Cannot recommend tilly enough.

This review applies to the customer service regarding a lost hat, bought directly from Tilley online in 2018. It was ripped from my head by the wind and carried over tall stone wall into fields of tall bracken. We returned and searched and searched but no hat was found. I expect to return in four years and find a sheep wearing my fetching Tilley hat. I contacted Tilley via their website about the lost hat, remembering that I had registered it and it had a 'lifetime' warranty. Unfortunately the customer service person was prompt and polite but repeatedly didn't seem to read and understand my query.... his first response asked for photos of my hat (although I had stated in two places the hat was lost). His second response then said he could offer 30 percent off replacement for hat bought within 2 years (but I had provided Tilley customer order number from 2018 and he made no acknowledgement of that) and then he hasn't answered why the warranty available at the time of purchase is not applicable now. So, while my previous experience of Tilley hats (we have bought 4 over the years) is that they have been very good, the only time I have needed to use their 'warranty' has led me to believe it does not exist, and their customer service seems ineffective at best.

Easy online purchasing experience, prompt delivery and very good quality item (clubhouse golf hat) plus lifetime guarantee as a bonus. Initially couldn’t find where to register the purchase for lifetime guarantee on website but dropped a message to Tilley and with me sending snapshots of hat details/purchasing details it was done for me. Excellent service

Lovely hat, great quality, good price (on offer). The only negative was the time it took for delivery. Over a week before even dispatched. To be fair, it was stated on the purchase confirmation it would take this long (between 7 to 10 days) but I wasn’t really aware until after I had made the purchase.

Tilley simply make the best sunhats available.......the T 5 Adventure Hemp Hat replaces my well worn T3 after over 25 years of service !...its now the garden only for that !

Ordering goods is straight forward with a good selection of products. Delivery can be longer than expected if not in stock in the UK.

Bought a hat for my sister as she was after something to protect her eyes and face whilst visiting warmer climates. Having already purchased a Tilley hat, I decided they were the best choice.
She loves it. Fits her head perfectly, offers full protection and with its venting system, allows her head to remain cool, but also offers protection when there are light showers.
Service from start to finish was superb, so thank you to all involved :)

Great company to deal with and good contact kept. They got straight back to me when I queried where my Tilly Hat was. Delivery wasn’t the fastest but was worth the wait. It’s our 4th Tilley Hat as my husband lost one of his while on holiday and no way would he wear anything else. We have both the hemp ones and the summer breathable hats

A great cap. A good all rounder - shower proof, cool with the side meshing and adjustable. Good size peak. Ladies could maybe do with an extended colour range. Good vfm

Quick shipping, however the hat was stuck in Germany (while being shipped from UK to NL) for about 2 weeks with no change. I had to pay almost 30 euros custom fee to get the hat released by the customs office. But Tilley did great. The hat feels very sturdy and of good quality and fits like a glove.

I had to claim the life warranty on my hat and from start to finish it was done with curtesy and no quibbles. No hassle, no back and forward hackling just straight forward customer service. Well impressed.
