I recently contacted Urban Billing regarding the closure of my account, and I was assisted by Yves. Even though my interaction with the company was brief, Yves handled everything with professionalism, clarity, and genuine politeness.
He confirmed my account closure quickly, apologised for any inconvenience, and made sure I wouldn’t receive further communications. What stood out most was his friendly, personal approach and willingness to go the extra mile.
If more customer service reps were like Yves, dealing with companies would be a lot easier.

Great customer service
I would like to express my appreciation for the excellent support I received from Yves at Urban Billing’s customer service team. At first, we had a few back-and-forth emails while clarifying the issue, but once Yves fully understood the problem, she was absolutely spot on. She provided me with all the options I needed to resolve my direct debit issue, and she followed up diligently, ensuring that everything was completely sorted out.
Her professionalism, patience, and persistence made a real difference, and I truly appreciate her effort in seeing the matter through to resolution.
I would also like to mention Katie, who was very helpful and supportive during a phone call related to the same issue.
Overall, both Yves and Katie demonstrated outstanding customer service and genuine care for resolving customer concerns.

Cancellation of my subscription with urban Billing by Yves
I had mistakenly subscribed to Urban Billing for the provision of the main utilities in my property and I was going to be charged from the 17th of October 2025. When I spoke to Yves in Urban Billing about the situation, he was sympathetic and proceeded to cancel my subscription with Urban Billing right away without any charge

Are they scamming me?
Company contacted me saying I owe them money for the year I have been living in my property, I replied saying I never registered with this company, this leads to back and forth emails for months (still going on) of them requesting proof that I have had a different supplier for the time I’ve lived in my property, me providing the proof then them coming back asking for proof again this is still ongoing with no sign of them resolving the issue. This has even lead to them showing up at my house (I wasn’t at home at the time) to try and fit a prepayment meter! I am a single parent and this whole thing is affecting my mental health as Im worried im going to have bailiff’s around my house for a company i didnt even register with.

Avoid!
Really difficult to speak with. Unfortunately I didn't choose this company (previous tenants did) extortionate fees and will send you warning letters with threats to charge late payments (£60) despite paying on time.

Urban billing still pursuing even after apology!!!
They keep emailing me asking for personal details, they say I have registered with them although I never have. It started when I left the property I was renting for ten years. They threatened an enforcement visit, billed me when I had moved out.
