Scarlette was our "named advisor", she was very helpful in answering any questions. When it came to having to attach different paperwork and return them, both my husband and I are of an age where we were not brought up with computers, so found it difficult . Scarlett said to bring any documents in, and she took about 5 minutes to sort it out for us.! On the day we collected our new car, she said if there any issues re driving it, to come back to the garage, and she would take me out for a drive , to show me how a hybrid car was slightly different from our previous car. We managed to get home in one piece, and absolutely love our new car.!!

I purchased a new citroen C3 back at the end of March and have had constant problems with the alarm going off at all hours. It's been back to the dealer 4 times the latest they kept it for a month because a part was ordered and when replaced was unable to program it and need citroen to come and do it, the C3 they lent me had the same problem and I'm told other customers of the new C3 have had the same problem. I rejected the car back in July and have emails to prove this. I was responded to at the end of August by the acting General Manager Mark Troy who was very helpful and agreed I should get my money back which would take around 2 weeks. He did let me know he was moving on and a new general manager was taking over. I have rang her but got very little response nearly 2 weeks ago and nothing since, a stalling game. I know exactly my consumer rights and will pursue this.

Bought my HG Motor HS T-GDi Trophy 1.5 Petrol manual yesterday in blue! Excellent professional service from salesman Chris Carter. After driving past and seeing a similar car to what we were looking for he showed us round a few. We then found the exact one we wanted online at their other Oxford branch. He explained all the car's features, and additional packages (tyre/wheel protection, Diamond Bright paint protection, Warranty Extention, Service/MOT monthly), but wasn't pushy. He sent frequent communications about the progress of the car being brought up from Oxford and all the paperwork (tax etc). Went it arrived he sent a video showing the features. The paperwork was sorted fast and efficiently. After a test drive he then helped me get set up with Blu-tooth on my phone, childlocks and electric features. Brilliant friendly service. Many thanks Chris for making it so easy, we absolutely love the car!!

I was met by a young gentleman Chris Carter who was polite and friendly and very keen to help. He was not pushy and took the time to listen to what I wanted and gave me his honest opinions. He went through things thoroughly so that I clearly understood the processes involved as it is my first time buying a car. Would definitely recommend speaking to Chris if anyone needed help.

I just went in to see if I could find a car that suited me. I was met by Chris Carter who ran through various options with me and was so helpful. Although I didn't buy a car, when the option comes to do so I will certainly go back and speak with Chris as he was so helpful and polite.

rang warrenty company up &was giving misleading information paid for the works to be done and now they are saying they won’t pay out due to it not being confirmed. This company is a complete scam soon take your money i paid £700 for 24months avoid this at all costs it’s not worth the bit of paper it’s written on.

Booked for new tyres to be fitted, when booking we were told it would only take a few minutes because its a prebooked slot and tyres would ordered for the day. When we got there we were an hour and thirty minutes 😲 so we decided to leave because I couldn't sit around for 1hr 30 minutes as I have Brain tumours its very demanding on me physically, anyway the gentleman on the service desk went to the back to ask the service people how it would take then came back and told us it would be done in 30 minutes so we decided to stay and guess what! They still took 1hr30minues they completely lied to our faces to keep us there 🤬🤬🤬

Vertu Citoren Derby charged me over £240 for 'fixing' the air con on my Citroen C1
Found out that they hadn't fixed it and was told it would cost more to fix other possible problems!
Refused to give a refund for a failure of air con repair service. When asked if the coolant had actually been added properly, the company refused to investigate and be transparent about the possibility of a mistake or error made by the mechanic. Vertu Citroen Customer Care was useless! Hope the Motor Ombudsman will sort out this dodgy company! (Notice in the reply to this review that the manager shows no interest in investigating whether or not the air con work had been properly carried out...total failure to manage a company responsibly!)

Great staff, rubbish vehicles.

The staff in both the Renault Derby and the citreon Derby were fantastic and helpful. We originally bought a Dacia sandero and less than 24 hours after driving out of the dealership 4 warning lights came on (not what you’re after in the winter when you’re heavily pregnant). We returned it and bought a Citroen c3 instead which was great for a few months, and then the exhaust fell off and the £700 warranty that’s supposed to cover ‘almost everything’ conviently didn’t cover it leaving us with a 1.5K bill. Then 2 weeks later engine lights started lighting up and even though we had the warranty they wanted £120 to look at the issue (roadside assistance had already told us the issue) and refused to tell us if the issue was covered by the warranty until we’d paid them £120. We cancelled the useless warranty. Now a few months later I’ve turned the car on this morning and engine lights are coming up again along with a message saying ‘engine repair needed’. We only bought the car in October 2024 and it’s only done a couple thousand miles round our local town and to visit family. Not what we need on maternity leave.
