Just wanted to say a big thank you to Adil at Vertu Honda Doncaster for all his help today. Couldn’t recommend enough! Made the process really simple and Adil was lovely and approachable without being pushy. We’re looking forward to picking up our new car in a few weeks!

I have just purchased a car from Ajay at Vertu Honda. Although this was a Honda dealership Ajay knew everything i needed to know about my peugeot. Going above and beyond explaining everything i needed to know with a no pressure sale. He was very helpful on the test drive, with the part ex i had and help with my private number plate transferral. Thank you for everything

Ajay Singh helped me to choose the new Honda vehicle I wanted to lease. His manner was very professional but friendly and put me at ease. He took me for a test drive which made me feel this was the car for me.
He spent time on the day of collection setting the car up with connection to my phone which was most helpful. He also took time to show me where every thing I would need to use was.
If I wanted another car in the future I would definitely request for his service.

I would not recommend Vertu Honda Doncaster because when I purchased the car it was advertised that the tax was £180, when I got there and after I had paid for the car I was told the tax was over £500, a small body panel is loose near the front drivers side wheel arch, which I noticed when cleaning it, one of the front tyres has barely 4mm tread left and the other side has no wear, so I have to buy another tyre to even the wear, not even any floor mats, I had to purchase my own, and no good will offers at all even after paying nearly £30000, I will not use vertu honda at Doncaster

Had a very positive experience with Vertu Honda dealers in Doncaster. As we live in Shropshire we did the whole choosing and buying procedure online. Quite nerve wracking!
The staff were exceedingly helpful and reassuring through the whole process which gave us the confidence to proceed.
Visuals and information on each stage were clear and upfront.
All that was promised was carried out to a very high standard - the bodywork, valeting, attention to detail, optional offers.
Our contact, Shaun, could not have been more courteous, helpful, understanding and informed.
We took delivery of a car which met all our expectations and was a real delight to see at last.
This company rewarded our faith in them and have to be recommended

"I had a terrible experience with Vertu Honda Doncaster. I booked a car online to sell to them, and even received a phone call from Vertu head office to confirm the details. However, when I arrived at the dealership two days later, I was told that they wouldn’t be able to buy the car back this month. I was disappointed to have wasted my time and fuel travelling there, and even more so that they didn’t offer an apology.

I was also in the market for a replacement car, but a deal with another dealership fell through due to a historic mileage discrepancy dating back to before I purchased the so-called approved car from Honda Doncaster in 2016. I would advise anyone considering buying a used car from Vertu Honda Doncaster to think very carefully before doing so."

Doncaster branch absolutely shocking, bought a 2 year old car, was promised 2 keys full service history
Was asking Ajay sing for months for the missing key, basically fobbed of! Then I wanted to upgrade, so wanted to sell the car, Ajay sing told me all service history is now online, not stamped in the books anymore, jeez what a lie! Apparently only certain makes are online, ford are not! So I've now got to take a huge drop in the selling price as its no service history, I've left messages for Doncaster vertu to ring me about it, and absolutely nothing! What a joke hey! After losing my parents and he knew that, and basically lied yes lied to me, absolutely shocking treatment.
I had to threaten court action to get a reply regarding my spare key, they eventually paid ten months later! Ten months! And now I'm going to lose goodness what in the value of my car selling it, because its not got evidence of any service history, absolutely shocking, to be lied to when grieving also, I would have given them zero stars if that was an option
Oh when we 1st traded with this Ajay sing he said they get a salary, not bonus or commission on sales, so that's why we could trust them haha that's complete nonsense, he rang me a week or so after collection of the car, to ask if everything was OK, I said car is fine, but need the key! He replied oh I will chase it up again for you, the problem is the parts department, I will sort this out or report it to managers.

Then he said while I'm on the phone, can I ask you to complete the review on the sale please.
I replied I have filled it in.
He said basically if you don't fill it in then I don't get paid!
Hold on, I thought you didn't get commission? I won't get paid without it.

To add insult to injury I put in a complaint as no 2nd key, manager said, he couldn't order you a spare key as you had the v5, v5 is needed to order one haha so Ajay was living and ignoring us for months ignoring our contact
So lied about salary( commission)
Lied about service history
Lied about my 2nd key
Lied about not receiving my emails.

This is the guy who probably earnt vertu atleast 8k as we initially traded two cars and bought the one.

All this while is was arranging and dealing with estates of my deceased parents and very vulnerable at the time.
Long and short of it listen to advice my Dad always told me, which turns out to be wise words in this case.

I see you've responded, no sorry! As people can see from your response I bought the car Dec 2022 , threatened you with court action ,almost ten months later as I was still waiting for the key or response by email, it was only when I threatened court you paid within 14 days, ten months almost after buying the car, so everyone can see that on your reply lol
Oh and thanks for saying full service history lol what a joke, you sent one service receipt after I posted this on trust pilot, just one, so it's not full service history is it, and as for staff not answering as on leave, for almost a year haha you've made yourselves look fools as now it's public you've admitted it took this long.
I keep paper trails and record evidence, so carry on with tit for tat and I will.publish more , not even a sorry , we know you spent a lot of money, cash buyer, but we've got your money now, so your getting no aftercare , what a joke like kids in a playground not even a sorry yes we did wrong, you shouldn't have waited almost a year for a key we promised you in 2022

To start off the review, if you take nothing else from this review, do NOT buy their warranty (or their cars if you can help it.)

We brought a lovely car from Vertu Honda, Doncaster. We was offered warranty, 3 years for £599 which we decided to take as it was a second hand car.

Now comes to the issues…

The fuel tank had an issue with it, so rang the warranty and true to form of-course they do not cover fuel tanks. So this came out of my own pocket at just under £1000. (After only owning for a matter of 4 months)

Next we had a new tyre on the car due to puncture (this was a new tyre put on by Vertu but unfortunately got a puncture.) The tyre company actually came out and showed us the tyre and couldn’t believe that they had bodged the beading on the valve. He told us it was a lazy and inexpensive way of changing a tyre and not replacing the valve. So we paid for this out of our own pocket (again) and wrote to Vertu/the salesman that sold the car to us and they didn’t even bother to acknowledge the email let alone respond.

Next comes to the issue we are facing now. We haven’t even told them the issue and they’re already trying to wriggle out of paying.
First it was send us service book. (Which is the normal response)
Next it’s send us service invoice.
Next when that is provided you need to make the receipt digital as they don’t accept written receipts (even though it’s professionally written/stamped reciept) And the mechanic we used (local small business mobile mechanic) is not VAT registered so that means we have now lost the whole warranty after just one year (it is a three year warranty)

They are totally invalidating our warranty as our mechanic is not vat registered and cannot provide a electronic receipt (only paper receipt)

This is a money grabbing company that will take you for every penny you have. Absolutely awful aftercare service. Read all the small print as they probably write in there that they don’t actually cover anything mechanical on the car.

You should be disgusted that you even offer this so called ‘warranty’ and I’ll happily discuss with any representative of the company that will actually take this seriously. I already cannot wait for the excuses you’ll come up with next.

I’ll be sure to make an edit of this post when you respond to ensure that the general public and potential buyers are fully informed before they buy (or hopefully do not buy) a vehicle from you.

So just to recap. The warranty is invalidated because the receipt is not online and my mechanic is not VAT registered. (Basically me supporting small businesses means they’ve taken £599 in ‘warranty’ from me)

In response to the reply.

I have no receipts on you doing this to the tyre and you never replied at the time when we emailed you about it, only just addressing it now when we leave a review. We was assured that this valve had not been changed and only filled/sealed (and very poor quality workmanship) by the tyre changing company. But if you read the original email, you’ll notice you never actually bothered to respond, nor did I actually want any money from you. I wanted you to acknowledge your mechanics may not be doing everything you would expect for a ‘dealership’ sale.

We received a call on Saturday from Chris Vertu Doncaster and promised a call back today and true to light, nothing today.

From reading the review reply you are still trying to squirm out of anything you possibly can clasping onto any hope you have. Still nothing has been sorted, still no further forward and still not happy. I’ll await your call that was promised.

Really excellent new car buying experience at Vertu Honda in Doncaster. Many thanks to Shaun Singh who was our sales guide from start to finish. We collected our car 05/07/23 and I hope the service and help we had from Shaun continues in the future, what a pleasant, courteous and knowledgeable guy, once again many thanks from JG and FEZ.

We decided it was time to change the CR V . Shaun ( a salesman) approached us to ask if he could help. We told him what we wanted and he said have a look around while he checked what was on offer at other Vertu dealerships. He had a long list of features that we wanted in our next CR V . The man's a genius every box was ticked when he came back with just what we wanted. The car arrived the next day for us to check out . PERFECT . The deal was done and we picked up the car all shinning a few days later .

Having been a Honda owner for 13 years we strayed off the path and went with another well known dealership with a different manufacturer last year....suffice to say within 6 months we are back with Honda via Vertu Doncaster. The attention to detail and the whole approach leaves you feeling confident you are in good hands. Yes you may pay a tad more for that but its worth every penny. We dealt with Liam and he could not have been more helpful. The real test is of course post purchase (when you have parted with your cash) and true to his word Liam has been in touch after a few days to see if everything is as we expected. I forgot about the dashcam I had fitted in my PX vehicle, I asked if it would be possible to transfer to our new vehicle, all arranged at a time to suit me and no extra cost. The focus seems to be on having a happy customer rather then flogging you a car, and so far I'm a happy customer.

My salesman was Eddy Adil, had a couple of visits to the showroom before I ordered a new EHRV. Eddy was not pushy at all and very polite and respectful. On the car handover he explained everything to me and made the experience really pleasurable. Only driven the car for 30 minutes but so far really impressed with it.
