Paid a dollar for a Carfax report which I thought was pretty good. When I got the report it said the car had no previous owners, no recalls, 0km on the odometer.

This was a used car with at least 9 previous owners, 185,000km on the clock and THREE AIRBAG RECALLS!!!!!

I wasn't bothered by the inaccurate information as it only cost a dollar but they did indeed sign me up for a subscription I did not ask for. Not listing the airbag recall is beyond dangerous. Its reckless and negligent.

I contacted them asking for a refund under their "no questions asked refund policy". I got a reply which just gave me information on how to cancel the subscription, nothing about the refund.

I emailed them again with no reply. Ive since issued a charge back with my bank and they've cancelled the transcation but save yourself the fuss and just pay a bit more for a proper report, I wish I did.

Claim they off free services. At worst this company is practicing fraudulent behavior. At best they are extremely misleading. They will bill your credit card without your knowledge or approval. DO NOT USE!!!

Not free in any way. Site is difficult to use and navigate, it prompts for more money on items already paid for, reports don’t download, chat gives the run-around and then drops, no follow up on refunds of money paid for reports that I was unable to access or download. It’s a sham!!

Horrible experience.. Paid my $1 for a report. Attempted multiple times to cancel subscription. Then they refused to refund the subscription fees! Also the report I did pay for had 0 information on the vehicle.

Zero stars. Signed up for the trial , the vin search was useless and there is no link to cancel. I contacted customer service and got an auto reply to use the link in the welcome email. I replied there was no welcome email and waited for a response. There was none. I then saw I was charged 29.95 and disputed it with PayPal. PayPal wouldn’t help. I tried to call and got some call center in India. We know what they are famous for. Scamming people. DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE ANY MONEY. It’s a scam. I still haven’t been able to confirm cancellation.

Paid a buck and got absolutely no information on the vehicle I was researching. I called to have this refunded as the fuel type and engine didn't even align and they wouldn't do anything about it. Lucas who I had spoken with stated they get everything from the DMV and that was utter BS. At least it was a buck right Lucas? What a waste of time and fortunately only one dollar. BE WEARY OF THE SUBSCRIPTION. ONE DOLLAR SIGNS YOU UP FOR A MONTHLY SUBSCRIPTION OF 30 BUCKS A MONTH. IF YOU FALL FOR THIS "ABSOLUTELY FREE VIN CHECK" TRAP MAKE SURE YOU CALL TO CANCEL THE SUBSCRIPTION

Scam !!!! They make is seem like it's only $1, but then charge you $30 a few days later.
Refuse to refund the money, they cancel the membership and dont give you a month of access in which you paid for!

If they cancel it, you should get the money back no access.
If you cancel and they keep that money you should have access for that period paid for.

They just take your money.

DO NOT USE THEM, they are scammers and will get you into a subscription and charge a monthly fee EVEN if you decline this. Their report is useless, and they will want to sel you the subscription.

They are a scam website that doesn’t allow you to easily cancel the website.

Bunch of scammers. Advertise Vin check for $1, then a few days later charge $29.95. When you dispute the charge with your CC company, because it can be shown that you entered your CC details on their website, the credit card company won't always accept that anything is wrong.

This company is a scam, You cant cancel your subscription. If you have given them your card details, just block the card and request a new one

Scammed into an unwanted monthly subscription. The website intentionally makes it seem like you only need to pay $1 to get a VIN report on the car you're looking into, but in reality it's a scam to get you into a 7 day trial but nowhere does it say that plainly. I didn't realize I had even signed up for a monthly sub until the charge showed up on my credit card. Complete scammers and to make matters worse, the info in the VIN report are full of nothing. I should have come to Trustpilot first like I usually do and I would have avoided this scam seeing their pathetic rating.

I purchased a one-time VIN report from VinHistoryUSA, but I was misled into subscribing to a recurring service without my consent. They charged me $29.95 and refused to refund when I contacted them.

This is clearly a deceptive and unethical practice. The website does not clearly disclose that you are signing up for a subscription, and their customer service is unhelpful.

I strongly advise caution when using VinHistoryUSA. I have also filed complaints with the Florida Attorney General and the FTC regarding this unauthorized charge.

They tried to make unauthorized charges on card when I called them they were rude

I paid the $1 to get vin information. I decided not to use the service. Most companies give notice prior to charging before the end of any stated time. This company did not give notice. I contacted them via email to cancel the service and requested a refund after I was charged $29.95. Jack Kenny responded via email to use the unsubscribe button in my initial email. The email went to spam and I was unable to locate it. I went to the website and customer service said to cancel via email. Nothing but the runaround, then silence. They have a refund policy that says, no questions asked! I contacted Paypal and was unable to get a refund. I do not recommend this company even for $1. There is a level of trust that should be generated online by doing what is right. They do not. From the other reviews, this is how they do business. My experience is similar to others around the same time. There are plenty of other companies who provide information and have a trustworthy history. This company is not one of them.

Worst company on the internet! Do not give them your information idk how the fbi internet crimes division hasn’t shut them down already
