I honestly can’t thank Florence enough for all her hard work in finding us the perfect holiday. She was incredibly patient with me throughout the whole process, even when I kept changing things and asking questions!

What really stood out was how much she genuinely cared about getting it right for us. She went above and beyond, even working out of hours to help us, which I really appreciated.

Her communication, patience and attention to detail were exceptional, and she made the whole process so much easier than it could have been.

Jordan always sorts out my holidays and he makes sure it’s seamless and perfect everytime.

Booked a dream trip to Thailand over a year and a half ago and Jordan has kept us posted the full time with updates and then organising the hotel vouchers and internal transfers,arrived home today and all I can say is it was perfect from start to finish and we stayed in 3 different hotels during our 2 weeks and each hotel was amazing .I even got a message when I was away asking how it was going 👍you don't get that with TUI .thanks again Jordan will be booking again at the end of the year.

We booked our Tanzania and Zanzibar trip through Virikson, and unfortunately, for a company promoting luxury, tailor-made holidays, we found the overall experience very mixed.

The Tanzania safari itself was absolutely unreal. The safari operator they arranged for us was fantastic, and our guide Jimmy was genuinely brilliant. He made the whole safari unforgettable, and the organisation on the ground was excellent. We saw everything we wanted and more, and this part of the trip was genuinely faultless.

Unfortunately, our experience with Virikson themselves was a very different story.

From the start, everything felt incredibly slow and disorganised. Our email address wasn’t added properly to all of the booking information on the flights, meaning we weren’t receiving updates. I had to chase repeatedly for basic information, including our holiday pack and details of our tour operator. We ultimately had to complain and speak to a manager before we received everything we needed, and this was only around a week before we were due to leave. That left us feeling pretty anxious when we should have been excited about our holiday.

Unfortunately, the same pattern continued once we arrived. The Zanzibar hotel we were booked into simply did not feel like a luxury experience and fell well short of what we expected from a company promoting luxury, tailor-made holidays. We were placed in a secluded area with the beach photos not matching where we were placed. The beach was dirty and we were harassed the second we stepped onto it. The shower in the hotel was salt water.

When we raised the issues with Virikson, we were told they would work on it. However, it ultimately felt like we were left to deal with the hotel ourselves. Virikson could take days to come back to us, and when they did check in, it was often to ask what we had already done about the situation. At that point, we were already having to spend our holiday chasing solutions ourselves.

That was particularly disappointing because this is exactly where you expect a travel company to step in and take the stress away.

So, honestly, it’s a very mixed review. The safari itself was incredible, and the safari operator and Jimmy were outstanding. We will remember that part of the trip forever.

But the booking process, communication and support from Virikson left a lot to be desired. For the price we paid and the luxury, tailor-made experience that was advertised, we expected a much more organised and hands-on service.

There were some absolutely incredible moments on this holiday, but Virikson made parts of it far more stressful than they needed to be.

It was good. I will highly recommended.

We have spent several weeks looking for something special for 2027 long haul in the winter. After getting several proposals from different companies (via facebook) we have gone with Virkson Holidays. Natasha was excellent all the way and put us together a great tailor made package.

We honestly cannot recommend Virikson Holidays highly enough. From the very first conversation to the moment we arrived home, our entire experience was nothing short of exceptional.

We had always dreamed of experiencing Tanzania and Zanzibar for my wife's 50th birthday, and Virikson Holidays helped turn that dream into the most incredible holiday. She personally handled our booking and customised our itinerary from start to finish, taking the time to understand exactly what we wanted and making sure every detail was perfect.

From the airport pick-ups and transfers, to the stunning safari lodges and our beautiful resort in Zanzibar, every element of the trip exceeded our expectations.

The safari itself was simply magical! An experience we will treasure for the rest of our lives. To then finish our adventure in the beauty and tranquillity of Zanzibar was the perfect combination. Every accommodation was incredible, every transfer was seamless, and throughout the entire journey we felt completely looked after.

It’s very rare to find someone who is as genuinely passionate about creating the perfect holiday as Natasha. Her knowledge, patience, professionalism and attention to the smallest details made such a difference, and we always felt that we were in the safest possible hands at all times of the day or evening.

This wasn’t simply a holiday, it was a once-in-a-lifetime experience and memories that we will cherish forever. ❤️

We will absolutely be using Virikson Holidays again when we plan our next safari adventure, and we have already recommended them and particularly Natasha to our family and friends.

We booked a safari with these guys and were very much looking forward to it !!
Unfortunately the flights were changed and then cancelled which was out of Virikson’s control. We were naturally worried about funds already paid. The team sorted this quickly and provided a full refund. We will now be looking at other holidays with Virikson Holidays - many thanks
