They do not pay their survey takers per their agreements. Avoid doing business with a company who does not live up to their agreements.

They have owed me money for over a year. Virtue does not pay you for your time. Complete scam.

If I could give them -100 score I would. Haven’t been paid after 2 years. Now they ignore my requests. They are scammers. In My last contact to their non existent “customer service” I told them that recruiting people for work that they know they will never be paid for is equivalent to human trafficking. Which it is. Still no response.

I have not been paid in 2 years for a study completion despite multiple interactions with customer service.

They owe me $600 for studies done 6 months ago.

Virtue Research is a SCAM. My Virtue Research account shows $263 for which I have not been paid. Their Customer Service number 609-436-5600 is not in service.

This company is a SCAM. Do not participate with their "research" if you are expecting to be compensated. I have been waiting for two years for $623. They used to respond to emails but that has stopped. They initially blamed staffing changes, corporate restructuring and various other reasons for their delay in compensation.
Do NOT give them personal information, bank account information or any other information.

I’ve done numerous surveys for this company and never been paid. They keep telling me the check has been mailed and it may take up to 12 weeks to receive, however, when I reach out to them they always say they’ll send a replacement check and never do. They’ve offered to pay me with Amazon gift cards instead and still, they don’t send them. The service is horrible and the factual the don’t pay is ridiculous.

Just to jump in and add to all the previous reviews, I have also not gotten paid for most of the work I have done with them. Its been a year back to a few months ago that they have owed for previous projects. I have reached out to them multiple times via email and always get the same canned response, that they are working on their payment system.
I doubt I will ever see any of these funds, but I want to warn people not to work with them or you will not get paid.

Just to add to everyone else's experience. I have been owed since my last survey December, 2024. The last payment I received was in 2022. Your time is more valuable than what they were paying you for it anyway.

I wanted to add this update in the hopes that many of you that are still owed monies, maybe will see some light at the end of the tunnel, After a complaint to their cities BBB, with no response. And countless emails. I accepted an Amazon gift card. This allowed me to do my Food Shop for end of December/Jan.
Persistence does pay off.

I completed a medical study 9/2024 and still have not been compensated ($400). This company is a scam and fraudulent, stay away!!!

I completed a study in June 2025 and still have not been paid as of December 2025. I've sent numerous emails with no resolution. Stay far away!

I have completed 3 surveys and been invited to fill out over 40. and to begin the survey, they ask for information about you and your health, only to be told you're not eligible and they already got your information, age, sex, medical diagnosis, and demographic information but yet they invite you to the survey. Since the company is collecting sensitive health data deceptively or refusing to honor deletion/opt‑out requests, I was told u can file a complaint with consumer protection authorities such as the FTC in the U.S. and include documentation of the invites and the data you provided

I participated in a video recorded study and have not been paid. It’s been 7 months.

Two years and they still have not paid me the agreed amount that is owed.

It seems that this company just recruits participants but does not pay the promised incentives. I would advise everyone to avoid doing any research for this fraudulent enterprise. I would also advise those that have been scammed to go back through your emails and look for sponsor information and notify them of what is going on. i contacted HRW Healthcare and they were surprised and hopefully will discontinue using Virtue. I plan to continue to contact other medical companies to let them know if they use Virtue they are participating in a violation of research industry standards and fraud.

I have been trying to find an attorney who would be willing to take a class action suit against this rip off organization ( and hopefully shut them down) however the lawyers I've spoken to feel it is not worth their effort financially to pursue this. If anyone has some legal connection to pursue this matter, please count me in

I completed a lot of surveys for Virtue Research. The first time it took me nine months to get paid. Now, I am owed a substantial amount for survey completed as far back as18 months ago. Twice I was promised a check was in the mail,but it never showed up. The dashboard still says a check was mailed in April, but it was obviously never sent. Don't work with this company.
