Solicited to complete survey on medical subject on 3 occasions. Completed all 3 1-hour interviews, with compensation of $400, $600, and $250 for a total of $1250. Sonal, Ana, and Brandy were contacted many times without any satisfactory response or resolution to receive the compensation due dating back to June 5, 2024. All are approved but unpaid. This was reported to BBB, FTC, GA Attorney General, and now Trust Pilot. This organization is running a fraud scheme.

Quite obviously Virtue Research is a criminal entity that does not pay their participants. The criminal law term for this is THEFT OF SERVICES. I recommend daily calls and emails to them to make their wrongs, right. Do not let up. Call the following number, and then press 1 when prompted: 1-800-364-4889. Sonal Patel, Ana R., and Brandy Atkinson seem to be the chief architects purporting this illegal and fraudulent activity. Seek your justice!

As a health care provider they contacted me to take a paid survey, which I promptly did. After several months and dozens of emails they still have not compensated me. They are now ignoring my emails.

SCAMMERS!!!! I have completed a series of survey tests with Virtue Research. At the time of participation, the stated compensation timeline was 8–12 weeks following the conclusion of each survey. However, I have several surveys that were completed nearly a year ago, and I have yet to receive any payment.

Despite multiple attempts to contact the company, I have either received no response or vague replies indicating they have no idea when compensation will be issued. This lack of accountability is unacceptable. This is fraudulent and theft of my time.

I am requesting immediate resolution and prompt delivery of the compensation owed to me.

When contacting customer service I get a blanket copied and pasted assurance promise that they are working on it. The same one for. YEAR. I reported this to the better business bureau

I also highly encourage you to file complaints against Virtue Research with the FEDERAL TRADE COMMISSION (FTC) in addition to those recommended below.. FTC also will not investigate without a number of complaints. That is why i am suggesting you encouraged other scammed surveyors from this company.
This scam company owes my husband $1000 for surveys in the past 11 months with same story as all other reviews. I finally sent a certified priority letter to their physical address which has been undeliverable.
I AM ENCOURAGING EVERYONE TO DO THE FOLLOWING:

Post complaints on Yelp, the BBB and report to IRS Criminal Division. On your complaints, ENCOURAGE the other scammed surveyors to do the SAME. if there are NUMEROUS complaints about a company to the IRS Criminal Division, they will investigate. This company needs to be shut down and hopefully the scammers put behind bars. I am just starting the above process myself and will update review for any potential details. Please be detailed in all your complaints about your experience.

I've been a participant with Virtue Research, LLC for about two years, and I've completed numerous surveys for them—about 6 to 8 in total. To this day, I have not received a single payment. I've sent multiple messages to their support team, only to be met with promises that the payment is coming. It's disheartening to put in your time, energy, and honest opinions, only to be completely uncompensated.

A quick search online confirmed my fears: many others are experiencing the same issue, with some waiting for years. It's difficult to understand how they can stay in business when they fail to pay the people who provide their core product—the data. I hope this review encourages others to avoid working for them and to protect their own time and personal information.

I've been a (very) active member of this platform for nearly 3 years. For the past year or so, it's only gotten worse. I'm owed over $300 in payments from research studies and focus groups back in February and so on. I can't even get a response anymore, the last one I heard is that there is new owners or management and they apologized for the delay and that was over a month ago. I think if the study sponsors find out about this, they will likely not do business with this company anymore.

I participated in a focus group/research study on October 10, 2024. I was told I would receive a check in 12-14 weeks for $105. It has been 10 months, and no check. It's now August 2025. I also completed an online survey on May 29, 2025, which was supposed to pay $10. I'm now owed a total of $115. I've left voicemails and emailed. Their email responses say there is no estimated payment date. I have filed a report with the Better Business Bureau.

I did a survey with this company in December 2024 and they failed to pay me (it is now 9 months later). I contacted them numerous times. They kept saying that the "check was mailed". Then they stopped responding. I will file a complaint with BBB. Do NOT do any business with this company.

I have done quite a few focus groups this past year, and while Virtue Research paid me on time previously, the past several months they have not released any payments. I have contacted them via email multiple times and have been told "we are working as quickly as possible to catch up on outstanding payments."

After several rounds of emails, they now refuse to respond at all, and they still owe me for the work I did these past few months. And clearly, based on the number of reviews here and on the Better Business Bureau website, I am not the only person Virtue Research is defaulting on their contracted terms with.

I did two studies for Virture Research and have never received any payment. One was October, the other was December. I sent several emails demanding payment. They faked like they sent the checks, but I never received them. I was told they would be re-issued but of course, I've never received anything. They should be sued.

Evasive about payment. They send form responses over and over again, even after owed payments are months overdue. It is nearly July and I am waiting for $150 from a January study. Brandy Atkinson and Sona Patel are presumably still receiving paychecks, but can't provide any straight talk about the Main Thing they should be on top of. I've been reduced to daily emails and not making any progress.

I have worked with this research company for many years without a problem.
However, over the past two years I have had nothing but problems with this company. The company is called “virtue research.” I completed a survey regarding the diagnosis and management of MASH study P1409. I was approved for payment on July 24, 2024. I also completed a study P1464 cardiovascular disease on June 30, 2024, it was approved for payment on August 29, 2024. I have not received any payment for either study. I have contacted the company twice and both times they said I would receive payment within a month. It is now a year later, and I still have not received the $440.
I am posting this information to hopefully help someone else who might want to work for this company. My advice is: Don’t.

Good luck ever getting compensation for studies you do with them. It took emailing every day and calling for them to compensate me with an Amazon gift card after several months. Still waiting on $200 for a study....might have to take the loss. This company should be shut down!

Do yourself a favor and DO NOT DO ANY STUDIES FOR VIRTUE RESEARCH!!I did a study in May of 2024 and the status is marked "Approved" as of July 2024 and I have NOT received payment. I keep emailing them every couple of months and the stock answer is that they are working to catch up on their payments, and still no payment. They should be ashamed of themselves.

Well I have been waiting since July of 2024 for payments they now owe me $480.00 Still have not been paid they did the same thing last year took me a year to be paid I am not doing anymore and when or If I ever Receive my payments I am unsubscribing to them I'M tired of this company getting away with this.

- 1 I wish there was a way to warn everyone who they recruit for surveys to not waste their time. They won’t get paid ! And this business needs to be shut down. Obviously any money they are paid by the clients they keep it all…Hard lesson learned!

Nope, don't do it. You will not be paid. Almost of year later and I'm still waiting to be paid. I feel a class action lawsuit should be filed against thus scam company.

They NEVER pay the participants for their time and experiences. Participants are promised payments, we put the time and effort into being part of the forum but they NEVER PAY

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME ON THEIR STUDIES!

I've not been paid. Did my first survey in September. And one in October. This is January. After reading all these bad reviews, I guess I should not expect to ever get the compensation promised.
