I've been using The Voice Realm for a couple years now, and will happily renew again for a 3rd. I book work consistently here, the platform is easy to use, and the customer service has been top notch. (As some people have said, they don't always release funds automatically 'on-time' - but all it takes is a quick chat and they release immediately. Literally no problem.)

Personally I have found some good work from VR and any dealings I have had with the chat people has always worked out well and quickly. 25% commission is high but the work is good.

I need to hire a French voice actor and I needed to get the recording quickly the same day. I got one of the support agents on the chat named Renee and she made sure that it happened. So glad that I found this site. The prices were better than what we’ve been paying at another website also. Thank you!

I have been a voice actor with TVR for seven years now. The support team is always available, gracious, and helpful. Sarah helped me today, and she was awesome, making sure that my request is handled today. Happy camper.

I'd love to get more work from Voice Realm (who wouldn't?!?) but their platform is easy to navigate and their support is always helpful when it's time to get paid. The service always more than pays for itself year-over-year and I will always come back!

I have had a repeatedly horrible experience with this company. For reference, I am a full time actor and voice over artist making $70k+ annually from that work alone. I have made thousands of dollars on Voice Realm and have been subscribed for several years.

I agree with what a fellow reviewer said. They frequently break their own terms of service. Their payment terms are within 7 days of the client closing the job. They never honor this. They do not pay you unless you tell them they owe you money. They currently owe me $300.

Their standard rates are set far below industry standards, but I have stayed on their site because it's nice to have a little extra income. But at this point, it is not worth it.

Their customer service is wildly unprofessional. I have been "yelled" at in all caps by their team members for simply asking a follow up question on a project that I knew I needed additional funds for. They have taunted me and threatened my livelihood. They often try to make talent feel as if they are doing you a favor, and believe me when I say, they are not.

If you're a subscribed talent: do not stand for it. Get in their face. Demand to be treated with respect. Leave and sue if they refuse.

If you're looking for Voiceover talent, go elsewhere. Most of us are registered on more than one site. These guys are running a crooked business and need to be disciplined by the Better Business Bureau or same.

Amazing experience! I hired Sarah for a YouTube commercial, had a tight schedule for the deadline and she was able to make in less than 4 hours! Amazing experience, their customer service saves my day! Will definitely work with them in the future.

I had issues hiring talents before for our videos that I posted on YouTube and on our company's website. But when I tried to use their website, I found a lot if talent I can choose from. Amazing quality of voice and audio you can even communicate with the talent to give proper direction. Talents are very professional and easy to deal with. Great service! Live chat is also one of their best feature on their website you can instantly get answer to your questions! Kudos!

The Voice Realm is the GREAT VO PLATFORM I ever had in my entire career as a Client and VO Talent at the same time. Everything are great in their end. Job opportunities, customer support, payments and especially rates. They're affordable and have lots of professional talents to choose from. I will definitely get back to them and still looking forward to working with them again. It is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED site and a very user friendly one. Double thumbs up The Voice Realm and keep it up.

I can't believe how rude and ignorant these people are! Even at a face to face meeting at a conference a few years ago, they had the arrogance to imply that they can pay whatever they want to VO's in the UK and that the rates in the U.K. needed to be low, to match their US market. Little did they know that our VO community here in the U.K. are very close and we all talk to each other and share our experiences. I was signed up to them initially and then once I saw what was happening, I ended my membership! They have even tweeted expletives to some VOs using swear words that should never be used by a professional body, oh wait, they aren't professional though!! Don't go near them! Nasty, illegal and incompetent! Beware, because they have a track record of personal attacks in response to even mild criticism!

Shocking company. Shocking rates for Voiceovers, way below recognised industry standards.
They are also very difficult to deal with and I have repeatedly found them very rude and extremely arrogant.
Avoid using this company if you are a business, or looking to register with them as a Voiceover.

PLUS! They report GENUINE reviews from GENUINE past customers! Need I say more about how they are trying to hide how they truly behave?!

If I could leave 0 stars, I would. If you are a voice talent and want to be taken seriously do NOT list yourself with TVR. The way they conduct themselves, particularly on social media is beyond shocking. The rates they offer are insulting, the customer service is insulting, the clear disdain for the very people who make them money (the voice talent) is insulting. Do yourself and the industry a favour and steer clear.

If you are a client looking for a professional voice for your project, again, this is not the place for you. Deal direct with the talent and you will receive a far superior service with fair rates and without the juvenile rudeness.

I find Voice Realm to be one of the best Voice Over Platforms out there. Excellent support staff and great projects, and a yearly membership fee that is extremely reasonable. And most important, payment is always on time with no problems!
