Arrival approx 11:56
Greeting - Server 17997 Jas, Warm’ish welcome but not anything to write home about. Very mundane infact.
Cleanliness ok, but some menus dirty despite it being the first service of the day and no customers in at the time of visit.
Venue safety issue: Cracked and loose tiles on the floor, a potential hazard.
I was sole customer at this time.
Staff (kitchen staff) witnessed sat around at customer tables on iphones and laptops.
Katsu Curry ordered.
Arrival time: good. Within 5 mins from order
Meal quality: Very Poor
Rice was undercooked
Chicken very very thin, bread coating
overdone and chicken chewy.
Meal size: A lot of rice, not enough sauce, chicken was 5 strips.
Server checked on meal experience at approx 12:15
Report given of quality of food. Offer for re-cook but declined.
A pint of beer paid for £7.00 and without a meal it was sensible and decided not to finish, with only half drank.
Bill brought to table 561 at 12:17 which wasn’t requested at that point my myself.
Toilet facilities checked, ok but no clear signage on exit, could be confusing for some.
Overall experience rating 3 out of 10

Didn’t feel like a chain
The food was great! Very fresh! Very flavorful! We hail from Atlanta, Georgia — the peachiest place in the US. The peach iced tea was better than we’ve ever had. Our server Mumin was the other highlight of the meal. He treated us as if we were guests in his home. He was personable without being intrusive. Promote him and give him a raise!
- Prices are astronomical
- Prices are astronomical. How they are still in business I don’t know £9.90 for a starter, £7.10 for a non-alcoholic drink, £19.40 for my main (fish-based).
- Staff were lovely and helpful but we did spend a long time waiting to pay.
- Price of a latte was actually good.
- My food was tasty but tepid.
- Don’t bother ordering a starter as they come out whenever, not first (regardless of you saying you would like the starter first).
Flavourless. Bland. Over-priced.
Flavourless. Bland. Over-priced.
We ordered takeout from the Didsbury Manchester restaurant. 3 x curry bowls & 2 extra sauces. We paid over £50.
We were all underwhelmed by the flavours. Definitely not worth the money and to add insult to injury, the extra sauces we paid £6 for, were only half full! Total rip-off! It happened to be a birthday treat too, which was extra disappointing.
My advice: do not be led into thinking the menu descriptions will be the experience you have in reality.
Rude arrogant staff at Guildford.
We went to Guildford Wagamama after an evening out at the G live theatre, and walked in at about 9.30pm to ask for a table for 4, well the look on the waitresses face should have made us turn around but we decided to stay as we were hungry.
We tried to order but was told by our waitress that her manager would have to take the order as one of our party was gluten free, we were made to feel like we were being a pain.
We ordered and got our food shortly after, we mentioned we had a blue light card and was made to feel very awkward and embarrassed to ask, she asked if it was my card and asked me tog into the account whilst she watched, I get they need to check, but she made me feel embarrassed the way she asked.
We paid and left, we all said ‘thank you’ as we left, they all totally ignored us, we all agreed the staff definitely didn’t want to serve us, so rude, won’t be going back. Whatever happened to service with a smile? Manners cost nothing
Servants were unpleasant
We visited Wagamama in Gatwick Airport August 27. Great food, but horrible service. The servants made us feel unwelcome and they forgot multiple stuff such as chopsticks, spoons and napkins. When we askes for missing items they rolled their eyes at us and threw the spoons across the table at us.
Delivery was missing a main dish. AGAIN
Enfield delivery. Dishes missing AGAIN !
Simon at Wagamama’s Bolton was…
Simon at Wagamama’s Bolton was absolutely amazing! 🌟 From the moment we arrived, he was so friendly, attentive and genuinely lovely. He went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience, and his service really stood out. It’s not often you come across someone who is so welcoming and passionate about what they do. Simon is a real credit to Wagamama’s, and we’ll definitely be coming back!
ZERO Customer Service
If I could I would give ZERO stars to the Mananger & Staff at Finchely branch. They all have a chip on their shoulders and they missed my order completely to a point I had cancel it and go to McDonalds!!!!
What sort of people do you hire?
Never again going there!
Friendly staff, great atmosphere, great time.
Visited the Chichester Restaurant today and had a great meal, really good value for money and the staff were really impressive and genuinely friendly.
We were served by Robyn who really enjoyed interacting with customers and also loved to discuss the menu options which was helpful and worthwhile.
Gone is its glory …
Used to love it when first opened in Soho London. Now its very poor quality for the price, my friend calls it water food! Plus lost most of its great dishes. The price for eating a soup with bits of tofu or pork belly is just outrageous. Pity!
York designer wagamamas
York designer wagamamas, well this was the first time we seemed to have a totally different sauce with our usual Firecracker meal. My wife having tofu and soba noodles myself chicken. Don't get me wrong, it wasn't offensive to the taste but seemed watery and totally different sauce than our usual meal. The manger was fine with taking both main meals off the bill a we handed both meals back pretty much untouched. We wanted a rational answer to why the meal was not the usual consistency but he could not fully provide this, stating the suppliers had delivered 'lighter chillis'. Unsure about this but.... Anyway, slightly disappointed but glad we were able to take these meals off our bill. So 2 stars. Will go again as 99% of meals have been great.
Wagamama doesn't care about customers
I am giving one star because I can't give NO stars. I visited Wagamama Wembley (in the Outlet Mall) today with my daughter and, yes, it was very busy, but if they can't cope with the demand they shouldn't even be there. We were taken to a table by a blue-eyed guy called Jay (or Jake). He seemed to be stressed from the start, but that was ok. Then, after 20 minutes waiting for someone to take our orders, a guy finally came and said they were very busy (no air-con in such an expensive place is outrageous). I have to mention that guy came to us because I practically grabbed him. After taking our orders, we waited more 20 minutes until my plate came. Only my plate. I thought my daughter's order was on its way, but fast forward 15 minutes, my plate already cold and no sign of it. When I asked that same blue-eyed Jake/Jay what happened, he "darling" me, saying "We are very busy darling, you have to be patient". I beg you pardon??? Is it the way to treat a customer? I left my (cold) plate right there and we moved to Pizza Express, that was also busy, but treated us very nicely and very professionally as usual. If Jay/Jake can't keep his cool in a busy and hot environment, he should find another job. No more Wagamama for us from now on! And I'll make it a life mission to let people know how badly we were treated there!
We had a delicious meal there today BUT...
We had a delicious meal there today with good table service. However, the good experience was ruined by the following experience.
On leaving the Wagamama in Street, Somerset w went straight to the car. I am 87 years old and the heat was getting to me. I discovered my sunglasses were missing so on arriving home (several miles away) I rang and explained my problem. The girl very kindly checked and found the glasses. However, the manager wasn't prepared to send the glasses to me and I would have to come in to collect them. As I am moving house imminently I said it was probably not possible. He mentioned cost, no-one to take them to the post office etc ( they could go in an envelope and would go in a letterbox) I said I wasn't impressed and would be relating the lack of customer service to all and sundry!!

To "Wagamamas" 19 Earl Street, MaidstoneME14 1PL. . Whereupon we were Greeted by a Young Lady. I assume she was The Manager of the Restaurant. She was of the upmost professional person. We were greeted by her, with Curtersey and Excellent Manors. She sat us down. And provided us with x2 Green teas 🍵 and the boys had x2 Coke's. To which I had one after my Green 🍵. Both my and me had x2 Yaki Soba with Chicken and Prwn. The Boys both had Chicken Katsu Curry, extra Amai Sauce for the youngest. And Kids Salad. Our eldest also had Honey Chicken Teriyaki. It was a Splendid day. We have there once before. And will definitely use this Branch of Wagamamas, when we're in Maidstone Kent, again.
The Young girl/woman who looked after us was called "Fran 11510". From the Restaurant. We were there from 16.20hrs. .Until 17.24hrs. Please give this Staff Member a good pat on the back. I love Wagamama but this experience was…
I love Wagamama but this experience was terrible. I stayed at Gatwick South overnight and headed there the following morning to have one of their lovely breakfast’s but shouldn’t have bothered. It was really greasy, the mushrooms and bacon slices were dripping in oil, the sausage had obviously been deep fat fried and was dried out. I gave 3 stars because the staff are lovely and the juice was great
We just ate at o2 and were served by…
We just ate at o2 and were served by Kaushala - the food was fabulous - but the service was exceptional - and she always was smiling with a smile so broad - cannot find any reason for anything less than five full stars - just perfect
Misleading information
We were advised to download the app and as first time users, we were not advised that we should use the app to pay. They just said to download it and we will get free edemame or
prawn crackers. When we were ready to bill out, another waiter came and we paid as usual but we noticed on the bill, the edemame was included. We asked if we could get the refund for the supposedly free edemame.Only to be told that we should have paid through the app for it to be free. We were not even planning on ordering it but we ended up paying for that, when they were the one who suggested to just download the app. Didnt fully explain the redeeming process.. oh well.. food is just average.
Wagamama has become too expensive
I enjoyed Wagamama since its inception in the early 90's, bringing my family there weekly for decades. However, over the past few years, we have only gone a handful of times. Their pricing has become extortionate, service wasn't great and their food doesnt have the same quality. There are lots of other competitors that are better value. It's a shame they have destroyed Wagamama.
