Delivered when we needed it, Bathroom fitters fitted it with no problems - does what it says it does. only minor thought frier a bit hot and does not fully dry - needs more air volume.

The installation of a Japanese toilet will puzzle some plumbers. Dealing with a UK based brand has been very helpful. They answered queries quickly. The product is excellent.

Fantastic after sales service.

The service we have received from Karen and the Washloo technical team this week has been outstanding . Customer service as it should be but so rarely is these days.
We had an annoying and persistant leak around our Washloo toilet which completely baffled our plumber. It happened spasmodically and without any obvious reason. Karen offered advice and , when the plumber had tried everything he could think of , she involved a colleague who sent a replacement part which was the answer. Great relief all round !
Thank you to all involved.

Look no further. Choose Washloo!

For people who have never used a 'Japanese style' toilet, let me say it's a game changer. Using a conventional loo now feels like a trip back to medieval times. I was a total convert from day one.

First thing to know is that it works just like any other toilet. You sit, 'do your business' and you flush. Totally conventional. If you didn't want to use any of the extras, you don't need to. If the power goes off, everything works just like any other. I say that because one of the questions people ask me is about power cuts, so rest easy!

I have the Washloo Sensation Wall Hung model with remote control. It uses an in-wall concealed frame cistern. It requires a water supply (obviously) and also power. Connections to the toilet are really straight forward and water/waste is designed to work with standard, conventional cisterns and systems. Nothing your average plumber should worry about.

Most of the magic is self contained in the toilet seat. There are some manual controls for the basic functions down on the side of the seat towards the rear, but the remote control unit gives you the most flexibility, control and it's how you customise the functions. Everything is really easy and logical. I like the foot sensor to open and close the lid and the seat, and the night light to save having to put the bathroom light on in the middle of the night. I didn't realise what I was missing until I sat on the heated seat on a very cold morning.

You may have noticed that I'm very happy with my Washloo Sensation. I'd not want to be without it.

The unit itself is very well constructed and sturdy. It's up there with the best, but at a far more realistic price point. You sacrifice nothing by buying this over more expensive makes.

I could not end this review without mentioning the people behind Washloo. Knowing nothing about Japanese toilets, I had questions. Speaking to a human is what you get every time, either using online chat, or over the phone. Real people. Extremely helpful people who will go out of their way to make sure everything is just perfect. Washloo is a small family business here in the UK with a long history of making reliable, stylish quality smart toilets. I cannot recommend this company highly enough.

Amazing toilet

Amazing toilet, I went on holiday to Japan, out there they have these toilets in every hotel or public restroom, after using them for 2 weeks I had to purchase one for my home. I can't recommend them enough.

We have just invested in our second…

We have just invested in our second Washloo given our great experience with the first one. Customer service is A1 and technical support second to none. This product does what it says on the tin and has helped my partner who has MS to remain more independent.

Peace of mind

I suffer from pelvic radiation damage and therefore don't always make it to the loo. Knowing I have my washloo installed and working, means I can clean myself quickly and efficiently without causing myself too much anxiety.

The wrong user manual was sent. Please can you send me the correct one.
Thank for your helpful response. It might be a good idea to put your phone number on all the manuals so that it is immediately to hand. For the consumer this would useful.

My Washloo Sensation

After searching for Months for a Japanese toilet with the functions we wanted at a price that was not astronomical.

We were r3commended the TOTO as @ brand. A quality toilet with a price to Match.
I came across the Washloo brand. I contacted them to arrange to view their product’s in Holywell, ,North Wales.
The the staff were very knowledgable an helpful.
I decided on the Sensation wall mount, I placed my order and they delivered on a convenient date to match the installers work schedule.

Nothin but praise for the staff and product.



We drove to North Wales from Wigan to see the Wasloo and wa# impressed with the quality of the Sensation.

My wet room installer has fitted many Japaneses toilets and he commented on how good he felt the Washloo was.

Washloo waisters

Washloo sent out a toilet that was leaking from the start. After months of complaining and many hours cleaning up the wet floor I finally sent the faulty goods back only to be charged for the privilege. I’d personally look for another product as I did. MUCH CHEAPER AND BETTER QUALITY

UPDATED REVIEW: Following on from the commical response from Washloo where you have tried to blame me and my company for the faulty product you sent which had been previously broken and siliconed to try and make it usable! The toilet was fitted by a plumber with over 30 years in the trade and he has also fitted the new toilet I have and no problems with that!

The abusive language comment - we do not use abusive language, there was frustration on our part for the many many calls we made to you to try and resolve this issue which you took no ownership for. We tried all the solutions you gave us and they still didnt work or stop the leaking.

Being away for months on holiday?!?! Really - is that your argument.

Trustpilot is a platform to be able to with a fair review of products and services - just because you dont like our review you cant class it as harmful and illegal!!!

We stand by this review - look elsewhere people!!

Firstly, the product was not faulty — the leak was due to incorrect installation, as confirmed by our technical team when receiving the unit back and investigating. We provided support throughout, including clear advice on resolving the issue, and even offered a replacement unit as a gesture of goodwill, which you chose to refuse.

The “months of complaining” you mentioned were in fact prolonged due to your being away on holiday, which delayed communication and made it difficult to resolve the matter promptly.

It’s also worth noting that the aggressive tone of this review — starting with the phrase “Washloo Waisters” — reflects the abusive language our staff were subjected to during phone calls. While we aim to help every customer to the best of our ability, we do not tolerate abuse towards our team under any circumstances.

Finally, your return was handled according to our clearly stated terms and conditions. A deduction was made to cover shipping and handling, as the item was not faulty — a standard policy across the industry.

We remain committed to delivering quality products and fair service, but we also believe in being transparent when reviews do not reflect the full truth.
