I did a Survey for them July 23, 2026. I t has been nearly 9 weeks. I was told 6-8 weeks initially which sounded excessive but I said okay. I They hounded me to do their study sending me Text message after text message, emails and changed my participation date multiple times. They scheduled me to do the Study July 24 then called me on July 22 and said can you do it at 0700 in the morning on July 23 and I said okay. I was told I would be given an incentive of $200 initially and I was promised an additional $50 for doing the survey last minute. The morning of the survey I started getting text messages asking me if I could start even earlier than 0700. I completed the survey and I messaged the person who had been hounding me to do the study asking if it would really take 6-8 weeks to get paid and never received a reply. Since then I have messaged and called several times. I have left multiple voicemails with Watchlab never receiving a call back. I looked on their website for any other contact info and found that the number they have listed as their phon number is not even for Watchlab and the company it belongs to said they know that their phone number is listed on Watchlabs website and they get calls for them all the time. I continue to contact them and am very frustrated. I am now going to go to the Better Business Bureau and file a complaint. I will then look into making a complaint with the Attorney General in the area they are located. At this point they owe me $250.

HORRIBLE - I successfully completed a qualitative market research study for watchLAB titled "Crepe / Quickbooks".The agreed-upon compensation for my time and full participation in this focus group is $200. I was told payment would process within 4 to 6 weeks. It has now been 12 weeks since the study concluded, which is far beyond the maximum stated timeline.I have made multiple attempts to contact the project coordinators Laila Kromer, Kendall Demann adn Yvonne DeMann and watchLABs support team via email to check the status of my payout to absolutely no response. The company has ghosted me while withholding my earned funds.

They don't like to pay. This is the second study I did with them and am having difficulty getting paid.

If there was a rating less than Zero, this would be the way to rate WatchLab! I participated in a two part focus group on health and fitness in April finalizing May 7, 2026. It is now August 2026 and I have not received my incentive payment that was promised to be paid two after the completion of the market research study. I have called the numbers listed and no one answers. I have left voicemails for the various departments in their phone system and no one calls back. I have sent Kendall, the person who recruited me for the study and she has been "brushing" me off since June that she is inquiring with the account liasion. Very unprofessional business who seems to not want to pay their panelists. This is definitely a "Buyer Beware" type situation for other entities who desire a collaboration with WatchLab!

Subject: Formal Demand for Payment – Outstanding $50 Research Incentive

To Whom It May Concern,

This letter serves as a formal demand for payment regarding the unpaid $50 participant incentive I was promised for completing your research study.

On June 24, I received an email from Kendall DeMann, Senior Project Manager, instructing me to complete the survey within 24 hours in exchange for a $50 incentive. I completed the survey as requested and fulfilled my obligations as a participant. Despite this, I have not received the promised compensation.

Failure to pay participants after they have completed the required work undermines trust and raises serious concerns about your business practices. Participants deserve to be compensated according to the terms presented to them.

I hereby demand payment of the $50 owed to me within 10 business days of your receipt of this letter. If payment is not received by that deadline, I will consider pursuing all appropriate remedies, which may include filing complaints with applicable consumer protection agencies, submitting reviews detailing my personal experience, and exploring any legal remedies that may be available to recover the unpaid incentive.

I hope this matter can be resolved promptly and professionally without the need for further action.

This is an honest review and account of my last dealings with this company. They charged £599 to service my Breitling Chronomat watch claiming that their service is comparable to that offered by Breitling themselves. My watch came back with 3 damaged bezel screws that were sharp to the touch and continually snagged on my clothing.

The watch was then returned to the WatchLab kiosk at the Trafford centre where the ‘specialist’ offered to “buff out” the sharp edges with some kind of file. I declined and insisted it be sent back to the service centre be repaired properly. He eventually agreed and the 3 offending bezel screws were replaced.

So after spending the best part of £600 on a routine service, the watch was returned damaged and in poor condition. WatchLab Customer services refused to offer me adequate compensation for their poor service and the inconvenience and cost of me having to make TWO additional 40 mile round trips to the Trafford centre to have them rectify the issues that they had caused.

DO NOT entrust your beloved timepieces to this company. You will be disappointed with the service and they may well cause damage to your precious possessions.

If I could give negative stars I would have!!!

Me, my wife and daughter were recruited to do 4 hour focus groups months ago and were to be paid $400.00 each. We have been getting the run around ever since.

There is mile long email chain with Kendall DeMann | Senior Project Manager who has made every excuse in the book to delay our payments!

Emira Morina, the president of the company & Yvonne DeMann are both non responsive.

My wife is owed $400.00 and me and my daughter were given partial payments and still owed $100.00 each.

Had we known of their horrible reputation based on the hundred of complaints on the BBB website and Yelp over such a short period of time we would have never singed up.

Shame on them and how unprofessional they are for treating people like this because without us they couldn't service their clients who we will be reaching out to next if we are not paid today!

I’ve been waiting to get paid for a study i took more than 3 months ago and they do not reapond to emails. I assume I was scammed and won’t be getting paid. Do NOT apply to participate in any of their studies. There are better places rhat actually pay. Horrible experience.

I handed the Watch Lab in Manchester Arndale, 2 automatic watches that had stopped working and I was skeptical of them working again. The Watch Lab got both watches working again and I was very impressed how quickly they had them repaired and the cost was very reasonable too. I am so pleased with the service given by their Arndale store.

This company routinely delays payments and you have to go on a wild goose chase to get in touch with anyone at the company

I completed a market research study Called Project Meadow (Apparel) -on Friday, August 29th, 2025 from 2:45 PM -3:15 PM at Twelve Oaks Mall in Novi, Mi. I have never received compensation for my participation in the study. The Project Outreach Coordinator Jazmyne Gonzaga (312) 489-8483 has stopped communicating with me regarding this issue. I spoke with her in 10/2025 and she stated compensation would be issued 12/25. But I still have not received it as of 2/2026

I completed a 45-minute remote 1:1 research interview with WatchLab (“Project Cider / Adobe Creative Projects”) with written confirmation of $200 compensation via a Tremendous gift card to my email. Weeks later, no payment has been sent and repeated follow-ups have received no response. I can’t recommend working with them.

I have tried over the last two weeks for an answer regarding a full service for my Omega Seamster.
The Exeter branch has so far not replied to my on line submission.
They will not answer phone calls and have no answer machine switched on.

I went to The Watch Lab repair centre in Livingston centre for a battery replacement for a TAGHeuer watch and spoke with Ross who was friendly and very helpful.
Ross explained the procedure and I felt reassured that he would do a very professional service
The watch was perfectly functional and spotlessly clean without any issues therefore I would recommend The Watch Lab to anyone looking for a professional watch repair / service at a very reasonable price.

Took my watch in to EXETER WATCH LAB for a new battery. Two weeks later the watch stopped working and condensation was forming on the inside of the glass so I took it back. Instead of taking responsibility for not resealing it properly I was accused of going swimming or taking a shower with the watch on. Neither of which had happened. They refused to discuss the matter any further and I have now had to write off the watch as broken. I will obviously never use them again!

I took a watch to The Watch Lab which was bought for me on my 21st birthday, approx 50 years ago. In the last few years it stopped working. On the advice of my husband, who had a couple of watches repaired by The Watch Lab at the Gyle, Edinburgh, I took my Accurist watch along to them. They replaced a part and serviced the watch, this all took place within 10 days. I now have this lovely watch back in my possession, in full working order.
The service and efficiency received by me from the Watch Lab was fantastic. They were very professional and I would definitely recommend this company.

Watch live Invites business from racists that discriminate and disqualify based on physical appearance and skin color. After being contacted by Laura Brickston, and kendall demann, do not claim to be Latino if you're not From Central America, because Puerto Ricans Cubans Dominicans Brazilians Portuguese are not considered Latino if they have brown skin as far as they're concerned. I was invited to take part in the study and then was disqualified based on my skin color, without any explanation without any follow up, or as to the reason for the dismissal.
But I can only base it on the response that I got when the administrator looked at me as if surprised,
then sharply dismissed me without any reasoning.

Excellent service in Bluewater. New battery and reseal in 1 hour. Really nice man. Saw lots of other customers pleased with their service. Recommend !!

I participated in a study 4 weeks ago. I have not been paid. No one from the company is responding to my e-mails or voice mails.

My watch needed a new battery. I was quoted about £75 at Watchlab in the Trafford Centre in Manchester ... yes, £75 for fitting a single battery! About 50 metres away, I had the battery changed by a friendly guy at Timepiece ... for £9.99.
