Don’t get sucked in like I did.

Ben Mills who owns We R Blighty and Veterans in Need is just after ya money. I had fallen on hard times after being kicked out of the PWRR for failing a CDT. Ben said he could help me and did put me up in a boat. I could stay as long as I liked but only if I worked for him and that’s were he draws you in.
Each of us were collecting around 6 to 7 hundred a day, we only see a very small fraction of that as been and his brother hoover up the rest.

He gets you to swap between his two scams and we were told not answer any questions if asked.

There’s about ten to 15 of us up and down the Kent to London line. Most of the guys are not veterans, but mates of bens who’s been involved with similar fund raising scams. I started to see the other side of Ben when buckets we’re getting light and he started accusing us of stealing from them. Not his mates, just the veteran he’s supposed to be helping. He can get quite nasty with his threats if you don’t toe the line.

The second I told him I did not want to do it anymore I was fired and told to leave the boat by 6pm with no pay after I had worked a week.

Do not trust with your money and to other veterans who need help stay away from him, he will use you and you will find it hard to brake away if dependent of him.

These are scammers. End of message

these lot a charlatons! they keep most of the money, very little goes anywhere but there pockets. they are not ex forces, DO NOT TRUST , DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY MONEY

I cannot begin to express how much WR Blighty have helped my son He was at his wits end until they come to his aid . He was homeless and Ben has helped him with everything finding him accommodation that could accommodate himself and also his dog who goes everywhere with him she is his comforter. He suffers with PTSD after being in Afghanistan , there is no help at all for him out in civvy street He didn’t know where to turn . Ben and WR Blighty were there in an instant , he has helped him beyond my expectations from accommodation through to his mental health , I find that now through all they have endured these past few months he has not only been as professional as they come but he now classes Ben as a friend and confidant

Thanks to the WRB charity for helping me fund a roof over my head. I lost my house and did not have the money to rent another straight away I was homeless on the streets an I was given a number for the WRB charity funding homeless veterans. Within 3 hours I was in a taxi on my way to the travel lodge were I was out up for 2 months by Ben mills. Thanks again Ben 🙏

Thank you to the Blighty team for all there help in finding me another place to live man it was a struggle. No one would look at me. It’s hard to find places to live nowadays. Ben and his team worked on this day and night and funded a roof over my head in the time we was all looking. Wow thanks so much. I cannot 🙅 thank you enough Xx

Thanks so much W R B gang for your professional treatment. Thanks for finding my hotel at this difficult time I’m facing. Being made homeless by my landlord because he wanted to sell and leave the county. I found ben and his team who were the only ones who have helped me out. I reached out to places like Safa ect ect RBL and these guys by far are the best at what they do without a shadow of a doubt in my mind. Thanks so much Ben ❤️

Big thank you to Laura Jolene & Ben who’ve helped me out big time, I had an altercation with a neighbour and the landlord asked me too leave. I had no family and noware to go. I had no one but the WR Blighty team I’ll never forget them and the service they provided for me when no one else would help. Thank you guys. 🙏

Give your money to the Royal British Legion

Strood Retail Park a few weeks ago. When I asked to see the collectors permit from the Council to collect money he became very aggressive and evasive and turned his home made ID badge. Claimed to have served in the Army but knew next to nothing about it. I wouldn’t trust this organisation to look after my coat, let alone any donations they give very little of to worthy causes.

Theiving scum, taking money from those that have earned the title of veteran to fill their own pockets... should be prosecuted for the thieves that they are....

I'm only giving 1 star because giving no stars isn't allowed.. This is a rip-off scam outfit operating without a trading license who should be jailed. I saw them operating on Marylebone High Street.

You would be better off sending donations to that Nigerian Prince that keeps sending you emails... It's got as much chance of getting to the genuine soldiers in need instead of lining the pockets of scammers...

Sunk to a new low of trying to sell you magazines that are given out free by genuine groups...

Hope these scammers are taken off our streets and their immoral earnings taken and given to genuine causes....

Gave me far less support than the Royal British Legion or any other veterans Charity. These people are astonishingly incompetent and basically useless.

Exploiting the goodwill of the general public to the Armed Forces for financial gain.

They use aggressive techniques to get money.

Con artists....telling lies about being in the Armed Forces when its blatantly obvious they don't have a clue....
I asked what his regimental number was and he said its secret....I ask for his first 4 and he didn't have a clue after telling me he was a vet from the Sand Pit!!
His only concern was demanding money which they pocket...Keep as far away from this company of con merchants as you can!!

We're set up outside Waterloo station collecting. I thought they were fake! Why were they not stopped, they are not a registered charity!
