WGT showdown is obviously rigged. In tournaments or stroke play the shots/clubs are pretty consistent. In showdown they CLEARLY rig matches toward one player or another and shot (direction/distance) are not only inconsistent but laughably tampered with through their algorithms. For example: I’ve hit the exact same shot as my opponent where his ball ends up in center of fairway where my ball hits exact spot and rolls into rough or bunker.

Garbage, been playing for a month or so. I wouldn't waste a penny on this game.
It is so inconsistent you have a better chance of winning at Russian Roulette. Must of been developed by 1st grade Gaming PC Technicians.

I don’t know how WGT gets away with it. Thousands of complaints, poor reviews all over and zero action by WGT. They’re still in business ripping off unsuspecting people daily with their buggy, unstable app. I have tried everything from pleading with them for a refund to filing reports of consumer act violations with Apple App Store and a letter to bbb. Nothing! Zilch. DO NOT install it. If you already have delete your account asap. Unless, you have money to burn…

Game glitches, also never the same camera angles a 12 ft putt shouldn't be at any angle unless the user turns it makes it very deceptive on reading putts also the swing meter still speeds up when it magically makes it to the swing spot. Even with the best equipment I really did enjoy it before they made the graphics generic

Just to say.. Beware of WGT golf. I entered a Showdown tournament which cost 50 credits, the 1st 50 qualify out of 100.. sounds ok and easy enough, wrong I shot 11 under par in this Veteran tournament, so I shot a 61 only to find I never qualified and no where near qualifying, something very very wrong here, scores were coming in of players shooting 53, 54, which is near impossible but not on WGT, they claim it's as close to the real game you will get, Eh.. Pro's don't even shoot 53,54 the best score in history is 58 I think, but on WGT over 60 players in one tournament we're under that score, WGT give you no chance of winning with the way they run tournaments, So it's a complete waste of time, Please look for an honest golf site.

The only thing good about this game are the graphics and they cheat you for them don’t be fooled it’s more inconsistent than an old man’s fart

The game has an issue with cutting of the game in progress and takes my entry fee .

Great golf game, very realistic. The MAJOR PROBLEM with this game is that it's very easy to misclick and accidentally use cash credits or game coins without meaning too. There is no failsafe "Are you sure you want to do this?" when you enter a cash or coin game. At least I hadn't decided to BUY any cash credits yet, I would have been REALLY pissed off! Killed my account after only a week and deleted the game from my Mac.

Complete piece of crap. The quality and algorithms have continuously deteriorated over the past several years. One thing is certain. Anytime there is a release they will fix a few bugs but introduce several more.

I’ve been with this app since it started. I’ve worked my way up to almost a million credits. A lot has changed. The calibration sucks. When I hit a 70 yard shot, with no wind, I expect it to go more than 44 yards. What’s up with that? Then when 225 out and it flies past the green and into the out of bounds, when there was no elevation or wind, it looks like you are getting greedy. It makes me not want to play anymore. I enjoy it when it’s fair, but it’s not as fair as it used to be. I realize that you are trying to make money, but I don’t think alienating your clients is a good way to do it. I’m sure there are many new suckers out there to replace long time loyal customers, but you are sending out the wrong message. I hope my feedback gives you an idea of what people are thinking. I don’t think you want us feeling picked on. I remember when you got extra coins for playing every day. Now that is not the way it is. How come? It’s no fun getting taken advantage of. We just want to play golf and be rewarded for our efforts. Some days things go well, so I know you are tweaking shots most days. I think you are biting off your nose to spite your face. We want it to be fair, is all.

I quit WGT after about 6 months because I got tired of the so-called glitches at critical times of a game. For a while I could not get a birdie or eagle, very short putts veered off at the cup, no break shown. I started playing again a few months ago, I'm a level 90 Legend. Everything seemed to be ok for a while and now the same unexplainable glitches are back. Won't go into great detail but shots are either way long or very short, and go way offline to target. I have to uninstall the game and reinstall it regularly to help with the glitches, sometimes it doesn't work. And as a bonus I have now started losing bought balls almost every game. I like the new graphics and enjoy the Country Club I just joined but If WGT could just make the game legit it would be nice. After I lose all the balls I have won or gifted I won't buy another one, just use the free one. I won't stop playing but I will stop paying. That is my advice, save your money until WGT fixes this game to be fair to all players.

Could be a really fun game but unless you spend a bunch of money you cannot compete. Some courses you can't even reach the fairway with the clubs provided. Such a waste

Absolutely great game very addicting but they rob you without a gun he'll send your balls where they want them to go. They'll make you lose once you start paying them for better equipment Better balls and they will milk you like a effing cow. Don't do it didn't go for a lot of money but found out that it's nothing but a scam and what a shame if they were legitimate it would be a great game scammers!!!!!

Has the potential to be an absolutely brilliant game but in its current format it is very disappointing.
Why would the creators not read this feedback and invest into improving the gameplay I’ll never know…..maybe the money just keeps ticking in…how sad.

After reading all these reviews, my mind is blown. This is by far the best, most realistic, and most addictive golf game out there. I have played daily since February 2018 and reached the highest Tier of Tour Champion in the game. Customer support is impeccable, and the players are very friendly. Epic game, WGT!!

If you don't give them money the game is totally corrupt! Its computer generated so can do what it likes. Sends you on a losing streak no matter how well you play....ball just ends up in peculiar places.

The only realistic about this game is the money they ask you to spend this is ridiculous they think this is real game for you spend real money for something digital and fake that sells drive like is something real . And what about gold credits after you play it for months you have to buy coins?? F…. out herHuge scam!! Don’t buy anything from this scam game .

Good graphics but keep in mind,this is a business so they are trying to make money. This means they will have you lose to a lower caliber player that would NEVER normally beat you in order to pressure you to spend money. facts! Everybody has a hussle nowadays....
