Game is a total scam. Nothing is consistent, you spend money only to be taken by water hazards and sloppy meter speeds that they fix for their advantage. If you are not paying big bucks you are not winning. Beware of tournaments, they will make you loose the first round so you spend money for the second round as well. Then and only then do people that have spent the big bucks win. You will not win so don’t play. The whole game is rigged to their advantage !

game decides your swing if you lose a ball the power graph is off you could have a shot 150yards away and have a swing power of 150 and you will not even get close to the hole this game is ass and i played to level 25 till i got sick of losing to things out of mu control SCREW the makers of this game money hungry wanting you to spend money on stupid ITEMS pay to win game for sure stay away

Have played this game for a couple of years and I can’t agree more with the negative comments . I have spent a lot of money over the years on this game but the only winner is the owners of WGT . I have lost my account on 3 occasions and customer services have not done a great deal to help recover my account , I wish I had read the reviews on trustpilot before giving WGT my hard earned money

Fantastic game setup...Unfortunately its a bunch of cheating geeks running it. Dont get a profile there.

Scam. Physics inconsistent and unpredictable causing you to lose balls and shots after being scammed into buying balls,to compete. Raise issues with support and get ignored.

They know the game is broken but it financially benefits them so they are happy to scam people

This game targets me with algorithms that restricts my views of fairways, and greens especially with lowered tiered players which have no clue how much wgt is helping them win . Wgt also deliberately through algorithms cause lost balls and bad shots . This algorithms causes the Meter to speed up after being at one speed thus causing bad shots. Wgt is money making scam . Their administrators don't give a crap , they play you like a fool. The entire game is setup to cause doubt and frustration so you'll buy better clubs. The entire game is setup for micro transactions. This game is trash I wish I could give it zero stars.

Excellent game but unfortunately it’s not really a game….it’s a money making machine.
Constantly having to upgrade and pay money to buy balls and tokens to continue playing.
At first it’s no problem…you win as you would expect to…few weeks in ….balls last no time…..and you keep missing easy putts.

Love the game….hate the money making algorithm.

I love this game. It takes a bit of time to get to grips with, which perhaps accounts for the poor reviews.

What a waste. First time I had some 300+ consecutive days, electric went out for two days and they said they couldn’t find my account! Back to Hack level 1. Second time I had 200 or so consecutive days and electric went out (common in rural Vermont) and again they couldn’t find my account. Back to Level 1 Hack. I then had 700+ consecutive days; two days ago I got a message that said “need to reboot”, tried and boom, back to Level 1 Hack. I did not spend $1 on this site, not worth it so I’m guessing they cancelled me out. No problem because it’s only a game and they got $0 from me.

I've been playing this game for about 2 years now .And this game is so bent it's unbelievable.They spoil the game by stealing GOLF balls off you. And stealing points off you .Which have taken you a long time to accumulate.Then they have the cheek to ask you to rate the Agents who fiddle the game.They manipulate the game to suit them.Not the player whose paying to play the game. Is AMAZON not making enough money ???

The actual golf play was so realistic, starting off as a *hack’ was fine… then the adverts started before each games, then the need to spend money before you can get on and complete, is annoying and it’s just a frustrating money making machine. Got to amateur then had enough….

They manipulate, they cheat, they rip you off. Making money is OK, but they have lost their integrity.Enough is enough!! It would be a wonderful game if it wasn't for the ponzis behind it. I am convinced that the abolition of the possibility of recording game events laid the foundation for the miserable state of this once wonderful game. Read the negative reviews. They are all right in what is written. I have read them and can confirm it. I've been playing since 2010 and can judge it objectively.How characterless you have to be to be responsible for such a development??!

Crap game. When practicing it's OK, but when playing tournaments you could hit, what it says as an excellent shot, goes out of bounds or lost ball

I've been playing for months and tried to start a game and, all the sudden, it didn't recognize me. Wouldn't let me reset a password. Great game but the programming as been terrible. Server is too slow and the computations of wind, height, and slope are never consistent. I'd like to see a better version of this....

I have sent several messages to this app concerning the way they will make you re-enter your login and password, after you reach a certain level without paying actual money but watch videos, they will make it impossible to reset your password and the only way to rejoin is starting over losing everything. I tried contacting them no response. Watch out unless you spend actual money.

This is a complete and other money grab by Callaway since they have taken over topgolf.. Those who played this game before Covid understand that it was actually a really solid game and you could actually trust what you saw..

Literally stealing money and shirking responsibility and game planning how to steal more money through this app.. If you write a negative review on WGT watch what happens not for a week half a year plus … They use hash numbers, collect your data and then exploit that and use it against you with any negative review of truth that could be detrimental to their cash cow …without any recourse from the players at WGT …and due to that being a Callaway player I will never touch their golf clubs again they have lost somebody who will spend excess of 20 grand a year on golf clubs For many of my clients and it will never happen again ….Taylormade right next-door where I live in San Diego North County all my business Outfitting clients in golf apparel of the highest degree TAYLORMADE!!!!… Callaway ranks at the very bottom Because of greed not gear, just pure greed…
I’d rather go to Arizona pay the PXG experience and come away feeling vibrate about what I did never give a dime to Callaway. They are garbage. They are all about cheating and being Jewish

Do not do not do not do not spend a dime on this game in fact don’t ever play it. It’s a joke.

First of all I'm a long time player on WGT. Like most everyone who plays it at first I loved it. Why not? I won somewhere over 90% of my matches. Quickly went from a Hack to a Legend, with only three more tiers above me. I bought the best clubs they had to offer to achieve those next tiers, and a strange thing happened. Suddenly I began to lose. A lot. At best now my win percentage is 50%, and most days well below that. Doesn't matter the player's experience either. Hacks beat me routinely these days. Something was up. Every time I lodged a complaint or comment, my scores got worse. Then it hit me. The game was NEVER on the up and up! When I was winning 90% of my game with free clubs, it wasn't my skill! It was WGT all along. Giving me a greater margin of error than my opponents. The hole literally became larger for putts that would later on always lip out. Margin of error. Remember that when you're winning like a young Tiger Woods and you think it's just because you're that good! Don't let your ego fool you. That's what happened to me and I'm totally addicted to this stupid game now. I literally can't quit. But that's not the worst thing that happens at WGT. Not by a long shot. Several, and by several I mean SEVERAL players are cheats. Playing with programs that are the computer equivalent of steroids. Slowing down your meter and telling you when to hit the ball. They're easy to find too, these cheaters. WGT routinely has these Showdown Tournaments where you play for prizes. But they're almost impossible to win unless you're given a huge margin of error to win that week. It happened to me once. Suddenly I found myself 8 under for nine holes! Even I knew something was wrong with that. Putts dropping in all over the place. I've played Showdowns where the leaders were all 18 under for 18 holes! Me? I'm five under at best. These are the guys who are using programs to cheat the game. And WGT does nothing to stop them. So before you invest hundreds in clubs and balls that really don't mean a thing in the long run, consider what I've told you. The game is rigged and you can never honestly beat it. Play long enough and they'll use you as cannon fodder for the newer players. Hacks beating Legends is good for business, cause then the Hacks won't get discouraged when they do lose. Somebody I hope to be part of a large Class Action Lawsuit that shuts down this worldwide con job for once and for all. Even if it means I can never play it again. Shame on you WGT.

Been playing for over 4 years. I have upgraded equipment and putter and the play is worse than when I had starter equipment. Shots never get close and putting always difficult even short putts.

Absolutely brutal game. Mechanics terrible, unless you pay you will be stuck with the bare minimum basic clubs to get you by and occasionally you might shoot a decent score but I promise you when you are having an off day, you REALLY have an off day. If the game looked half decent it could maybe merit an extra star rating but they are nowhere near where they should be for a modern game.

Do yourself a favour, skip past this game regardless of how keen you are to play a golf game like I was.

Lost about 200,000 on the screen freezing. Absolute garbage.
