This is the best experience I have had when it comes to real experiential learning . You come away with not only knowledge in your mind you gain embodiment of the knowledge of what it takes to be a support for a new mum. Highly recommend

During a challenging time following an unexpected hospital birth, Nickita was a tremendous support for both me and my baby. Her encouragement was invaluable when I was feeling vulnerable, especially after a social services referral regarding my planned freebirth. She provided clear advice on handling conversations, asserting my rights, and moving forward with confidence. Without her assistance, I would have felt anxious and overwhelmed, potentially leading to a very different outcome. I'm so grateful for Nickita's help during those stressful days; her support truly made a difference.

Wow, what an experience!After becoming pregnant for the third time, I found myself keen on exploring natural childbirth. Although it wasn't exactly what I initially expected, my research opened my eyes to how the system often fails women. I felt compelled to contribute to change.Having already sought guidance from Nickita a few times while I was expecting, I was confident her course was ideal for me. Her patience, warmth, expertise, and down-to-earth nature made me feel supported and encouraged. Every question felt valid, and the content was delivered clearly and accessibly, without any pressure.We also had Angela join us to share her insights. She was equally welcoming, comforting, and well-informed. They both presented the material at a comfortable pace and patiently addressed any doubts. Together, these remarkable women seem to have a comprehensive understanding of the topics.Whether you're preparing for your own childbirth journey or considering becoming a doula, the WPCTS course is a must. It will challenge your perspectives and invite self-reflection, all with care and compassion. It certainly did for me. Nickita and Angela make the perfect team, and the course is a transformative and enlightening experience. It's a stepping stone towards a movement that empowers women.

I recently completed the comprehensive Doula Course, and I can honestly say it has been a game-changer in my journey to support empowering, holistic births. The depth of knowledge I gained about birth physiology, combined with practical skills in client advocacy and trauma-informed care, has given me the confidence to serve families with compassion and professionalism.

A special shoutout to Nickita, our course mentor — her expertise, guidance, and genuine support made all the difference. Nickita’s dedication and passion for birth work truly inspired me and helped deepen my understanding of holistic birth support.

I recently went through a traumatic time with my daughter (6 months old) where she was hospitalised. Nickita from When Push Comes was absolutely fantastic. She kept in contact me with the whole time and really helped me to stay clam, question everything which I was being told and helped me ask the vital questions I needed to in order to give my daughter the best care I could. Nickita was so warm and caring, it was like asking an old friend for advice. Her support was out of this world and I genuinely don't believe I would have got through such a hard time without her. She helped me with all aspects and all the worries I had. Cannot recommend when Push comes to shove enough!

Can’t thank Nickita enough for what she does. I’ve been lucky enough to have found Nickita and the beautiful women she has connected together through Push Comes to Shove. Whenever I need support she is available giving the best possible advice. We recently had the news my sister had a breast cancer diagnosis, Nickita was there with no hesitation to offer me so much amazing information and sign posting me to many other great woman that could also help. Nickita is such an amazing person. I reached out to her after being given her details when I was struggling finding donor milk for my baby. I didn’t think she’d be able to help or it would be within her remit but I was trying every avenue. I spoke with her on the phone and she was immediately so supportive and reassuring and immediately said she would help me. I was so grateful. I have also seen her go above and beyond to help others in different situations - she always gives her time and energy to support others in need and is all about making sure people can feel fully informed to make the right decisions for themselves, their bodies and babies which is so so important.

When Push Comes to Shove is such a great course run by the wonderful Nickita and I feel so blessed to have met this amazing, super knowledgeable lady and her community of beautiful, supportive women! The course was full of great educational videos, quizzes and so much more and I just didn't want it to end! Plus being able to do everything at my own pace made it such an enjoyable experience!
It really has transformed my life and the information I received shall stay with me forever!

After listening to Nickita on Doc Malik's Podcast..... just WOW!!!! The 'Failure To Progress' pathway is definitely what I was put on with my first, and it made me sob that I was taken advantage of. Also the 'rape' with the two hands..... yep. I definitely have trauma from my first birth experience.

I'm 31 weeks with my 2nd, and just found a wonderful birth keeper from Push Comes To Shove, so thank you so much! I'm actually really looking forward to this birth and having my baby at home with fingers crossed minimal intervention. Thank you for setting up this wonderful company! Being awake after what has happened the last few years, I would hate to end up in hospital, and I love that this companies values align with mine x

Nickita was an amazing support and voice during a time I needed it the most . She supported and guided me through the system and my legal rights. .Nickita held space for me during this time and reminded me of my powers . I am very grateful for her and her words , kindness and compassion .

Nickita was incredibly helpful, informative and provided clarity at a time when it was needed.

Having a baby at a hospital can be stressful and thinking clearly can be very difficult. Nickita ensured we were clear about our rights and reminded us what we wanted was in our control. This really helped my partner who had unnecessarily made to feel she had done something wrong, when she hadn’t.

There are people who are unaware of their rights and are made to feel they are penalised for trusting their instincts, and making their own choices. This is why people like Nickita are so important. She allows parents to take control of their birth experiences, and know how to stand up to insufficient healthcare.

Nickita was an absolute godsend when I needed help advocating for myself and my baby after an unexpected hospital birth. Inspirational and life changing! Nickita is the most wonderful human- her knowledge is amazing, she delivers the course material so thoroughlly in a relaxed and supportive way and she genuinely cares about each and every person there. Not only do you receive all of the information needed to feel confident to step into the birth world, but you are guided and held through your own personal growth journey. Once you have completed the training you are then welcomed into the most beautiful tribe of like minded women, who could not be more beautiful souls (a true reflection of Nickita herself). The support is there 24/7,  not just for birth questions but for spiritual, emotional and mental guidance too, and lots of fun! I've been in a lot of womens spaces, but this one is pure love. Plus you receive additional trainings each month and so much ongoing support. I can not recommend this course enough.

Doing the doula course with Nickita has been absolutely inspiring and life changing. Nickita's knowledge is amazing and any questions that anyone had were quickly answered. It was a very relaxed and safe space in which everyone was very welcoming, understanding and inclusive. Not only does the course provided you with the information needed to support women at such a magical point in their life, it also dives into you personally and takes you on a journey of growth and reflection. Could not recommend any course more. The community have been amazing, and questions are answered in minutes with plenty of detail and everyone is there to support each other.
