Avoid at any cost

Avoid at any cost. Went to save a few pounds over other reputable insurers.
Insured my motorbike and the next day called them to see why my bike is showing as not insured on MID. They run through my details and they said there is an error which they were unable to correct and they had to cancel my policy.
They charged me 50£ for 20 hours policy. Its a scam. AVOID

I affected motorcycle insurance within…

I affected motorcycle insurance within the period of insurance I asked for laid up cover, this was not available, the company tried to help but the insurers they had placed me with would not cover my bike. So if you need laid up cover don't affect a policy with these guys.

Asked for information regards to NCB…

Asked for information regards to NCB etc, all information HAS BEEN EMAILED over but still received reminders regards to this information I had apparently not sent.

They have now cancelled my insurance and have demanded £30 from me, close this company down it’s a fraud!

Hi Daniel - We are sorry you are unhappy with our service. In accordance with the terms and conditions agreed to when the policy was purchased, validation documents are required within 28 days of the policy inception.

Despite trying to contact you by email, letters, and text, we did not receive documentation and regrettably had no option but to cancel the policy and apply charges for the time on cover.

Mis sold policy which did not suit my…

Mis sold policy which did not suit my needs. Told I would not get a refund if I cancelled after 15 days. Was talked over by a 12 year old reading off a screen at 100 mph. Told they would pay out market value based on not history for a HISTORIC vehicle. No mot required for a historic vehicle. Insurance actually provided by LVE. Total dissatisfaction. STAY AWAY FROM THIS 3RD PARTY CON.

Nobody works in the claims department

I needed to start a claim. Phoned the claims number. After waiting 2 hours the line went dead. I don't think anyone works in the claims department. Shockingly bad.

KEEP AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY

Took a policy with this company on the 28th of this month pricing seemed good today they rang me the 31st to say they're what another £90 because I didn't declare something on it I said that was ridiculous I would cancel now they are trying to charge me £50 for cancelling when I'm still in the 14-days cancellation period companies absolutely scam keep away
I received your reply today 01/06/22 because of the review I write about you last night on trustpilot , it was for a sp30 a speeding fine I got 2 years ago in my car I had forgot all about it it because at the time when I received it 2 years ago I notified my other insurance companies for my bike and car and they said it did not matter because the majority of people have them and I did not get charged any extra from the other companies, I've completely forgot about it so that is why I did not declare it but to try and charge £80 something pound for that is disgusting your company is just trying to make money, the reviews on trustpilot about your company are all bad you are still a rip-off company I will get another reply on this site from you with some crap like blah blah blah blah

We advised you of the premium based on the full information and gave you the option to pay the difference. I have consulted with our customer service team to get some clarification on this situation.

We can see that when you took out a policy with us, you told us you had six years of NCB. When we asked for proof of this after you purchased the policy, you told us that you could not obtain this proof. Therefore, we proceeded to tell you that the Insurer would not accept this policy without any No Claim Bonus so unfortunately, we had to cancel your policy.

In regards to the money, we charged you. To clarify, you were on cover for 24 days before the policy was cancelled, which cost a total of £84 which included our reduced £30 admin fee.

If you would like to discuss this further, please do not hesitate to get in touch.

Took out a motorcycle policy but had to cancel after two days of cover. Was still within the cooling off period. Got a charged over 90% of the premium. Avoid.

Re the below. I haven't made a claim in 20 years but my no claims bonus was deemed not valid. As you state that your exorbitant cancellation fees cannot be changed what is there to discuss? I just hope that others read this review and are not fleeced as I was.

I have spoken with our customer services team who have clarified some bits for us.

To clarify, we can see that you were unable to provide us with proof of your NCB to which we informed you there would be an additional cost to amend the policy. Because of this, you proceeded to cancel the policy instead of paying to amend the policy, which resulted in the cancellation charges. Before purchasing the policy, we state all of our cancellation fees which is why you were charged this amount. Unfortunately, we cannot amend any of these cancellation costs.

credit where credit is due

Firstly I have read the awful reviews as I have just taken out a policy for two motorcycles with wickedquotes.
I can only give a fair review of my own experience.
They quoted me £220 fully comp with protected no claims on a new 1200 speed twin and a older Africa twin.
Yes it takes forever for them to answer the phone but they did answer eventually after telling me where I was in the queue on two separate occasions.
I returned an email with my required info and the girl on the phone went away and came back to verify she had received my email .
Obviously I can't comment on any claims procedure but I know that it would be dealt with directly by Aviva so wickedquotes would be taken out of the equation should there be a claim so all in all I think they have done pretty well.
The girl on the phone didn't try to rush me and she took her time to deal with my problem so obviously the next person waiting behind me was getting irate but chill out I say. They are only human in that office just like us!.

SHOCKING SERVICE DONT USE

Called this company 4 times last week no one ever answers the phone. What a waste of time. My last call was today calling immediately at 0900 hrs only to be told that I was no 2 in the queue.
I waited, waited and continued for 1 hour 9 mins still no one answered, at which point I hung up.
The service is atrocious and despite trying to get a quote on line it always refers to giving the company a call only to be waiting for hours for someone to answer which never materialises

I have never ever come across such incompetence in a company like this

Totally ripped my son off asked for…

Totally ripped my son off asked for every conceivable piece of information available about his license etc sent this to them several times but continually sent out reminder letters even though they had all of information and this was confirmed by them on the phone ,then cancelled his insurance before the date on the last letter they sent ,After phoning my self to sort out the matter i was then told that someone had already canceled the policy and that there was nothing they could do, they had only given us partial refund taking over £370 for the privilege ,i would not advise anyone to use these people dishonest and very rude .Wish i had checked out other reviews before using them ,will be contacting the insurance ombudsman !!!

I began to get suspicious when despite numerous attempts to satisfy the requests for proof of no claims that nothing satisfied their criteria. In a world of modern communication methods and the insurance database that all insurance companies share it is not impossible for an insurance company to check your details prior to accepting you as a client. It was only after I had paid for the insurance that they asked for proof of no claims. this should be available on the insurance database. What further aroused my suspicion was that they suggested that I wait untill my policy was out of date before contacting my previous insurer. That would have left me boxed into a corner. So I decided to terminate my contract with Wicked quotes I now await the full refund if that doesn't happen I will be back on here.

Unfortunately the settings does not allow me to give this RUFLESS company less than one star. AVOID THEM AT ALL COSTS!!! they're more like a debt collection agency then an insurance provider poor attitude, poor service, poor human being's. I'm sure they wear 10 gallon hats and carry six shooters, proper cowboys. Yippee-Ki-yay motherf**Kers.
